Boca Pizzeria is an Italian inspired Pizzeria utilizing the abundance of Northern California’s seasonal ingredients, while showcasing local micro breweries and wine country’s boutique varietals. Boca Pizzeria has always been our little neighborhood gem we had in mind for years, where we can dine with our friends, family and loved ones.
Our pizzas are authentic Neapolitan style, which cooks for no more than 2 minutes in a 900 degree Italian wood burning oven, is made from double milled 00 Caputo flour. Our sauce is made of the finest San Marzano tomatoes imported from Italy. We make house-made mozzarella cheese daily.
We support local farmers in an effort to bring you the freshest ingredients.
The staff was very welcoming and gracious the minute we walked through the door. Our table service was great as well - very attentive and informed when we asked questions about specific menu items.
This is a great place for family gatherings, birthday celebrations, or after work get togethers. Food is good, service is great.
Great hangout/happy hour place. It can get loud sometimes so while it may be a good spot for a date, be prepared to the possibility of having to speak louder to be heard. With that said, it definitely makes it a good spot with kids. Outside sitting is great; and typical to Corte Madera weather can get chilly in the evenings.
Food was great and so was our service, though I felt like we were being rushed along as dinner was underway; which was odd considering the tables next to us were empty. Otherwise I would definitely go back.
Very good food, really good pricing, and room to stretch out.
We were a group of six, with a couple of finicky eaters, and were able to find food that everyone enjoyed. The flavors were really nice, with pretty presentations.
The wine list was short, but reasonably priced for their regular wine list. That said, we went on a Monday when they have 1/2 price bottles, it was a true bargain on the wine! And it was a really nice Pinot Noir to boot!
We're used to SF City restaurant prices, and found that we could feed all six, with wine and tip, for 1/2 of what it would have cost for a similar meal in the City.
We'd go back any time.
I loved the grilled octopus salad, the rigatoni was so delicious and our mragarita pizza spectacular. I do recommend Bocca.
The food was fine but not spectacular. The outdoor dining area is right on the mall parking lot so it is noisy. My biggest problem was with the service. Our order was not complex, but it took forever to be served. I don't know if the problem is the kitchen, wait staff or both. With all the dining options in the area I won't go out of my way to eat here.
Our little group found nothing special about the food or the service today. Our salads were drenched in oily dressing leaving them soggy and unappealing. The lamb in the lamb salad was tough and chewy. Our server disappeared for most of our meal so beverages weren't refilled. All in all it was more of a hit than a miss. The best thing about the restaurant is the patio which is comfortable and is nicely shaded. It will be a while until we return.
Fresh & healthy options that tasted good. Nicholas was our server - she was very competent and nice and manged the service perfectly. Thanks!
Our server was personable, friendly and very attentive. The entire staff was on it even though it was a bit slow. No one was sleeping
Every time we eat here it's a great experience. This occasional was exceptional. The food was fantastic and more important the gentleman helping us was one of the best ever. My wife and I talked highly of him the entire drive home. What more do you need in a night out?
Great option for dining at the Village in Corte Madera
We went here on an OpenTable whim and were surprised by the very tasty food. The burrata was excellent and the brussell sprout pizza was quite good. We'll be back
Always a nice place to hang out with a drink, a pizza and a game on tv!!
We travel to Marin about once a quarter, and Boca Pizzaria is one of 2 restaurants in our regular rotation. I had the beet salad & Braised Beef Short Ribs Pappardelle, and my partner had the Gather Greens & Braised Beef Short Ribs Pappardelle. I had Pappardelle prepared mild & my partner had the Pappardelle prepared spicy, which is the standard way. Our salads were delicious with lovely fresh ingredients and in-house made dressings. Our Pappardelle was also delicious with the home-made pasta & the succulent short ribs. We started with the Garlic Flatbread with the same yummy Marinara they use on the pizzas.
Our meal was paced perfectly, because our waiter Nick made sure that we got everything prepared & timed as we requested. The next time we visit, we will request Nick again, who made sure our dinner was exactly as we wanted - another leisurely, relaxing, delicious meal at Boca Pizzaria.
It's hard to believe that such a high quality dining experience can be found in a shopping center.
We took my 90 year old mother there for lunch. She is usually uncomfortable eating out but the staff was so wonderful to her. Patient with her questions and great recommendations. She eat more than normal, it was easy for her to hear us and the food was great too. Thanks for making it a great meal
Mediocre pizza, lacking flavor, dough was fair. They offer a small pour of wine for a substantial price. If you want terrif pizza try Ambrosia in kentfield..
In this particular restaurant that particular night, one of the cooks were yelling orders or instructions out in not only a loud voice but also what sounded like a "argumentative" voice. We kept looking around to find out where the argument was, just to discover it was kitchen talk. Very unpleasant on top of an already high decibel noise level
Great service and wonderful food
We have requested this restaurant many, many times. It was a regular for us. This past Friday night they failed to deliver on every metric. Food, Service, Quality and it was very noisy. The sizes of portions have decreased. The flavor and taste was missing. For the price, it was not worth it. The only bright spot was our waitress who had a beautiful smile and was fun however she left us alone many times when we needed service. Boca, you need to up your game before we would consider being back.
the restaurant was very nice and the waiter was simply perfect. Food prepared in a simple way without too many condiments. I will come back.
Always a good experience, food is always good, the service is pretty good as well
Good food at a reasonable price. I usually modify my order a bit to fit my vegan diet, and I don't get any hassle. You can count on a good meal, and they don't rush - I usually dine with a friend and have a "catch-up" visit, and it's no problem.
Grabbed a seat at the bar, ordered a cocktail, a pizza and watched the Giants game...
Quick lunch watching the giants!
Cocktails really tasty, artichokes really tasty as well as salad and pizza
we got hungry and decided to stop here for a bite to eat. The braised short ribs were excellent. We also shared a Mediterranean Pizza which also was very good.
Did not enjoy much of anything here. Service was so casual it was almost nonexistent (strolling wait staff?). Sat in booth for what seemed like hours. The food was simple, uninspired and tasteless. If you need to eat something and nothing else is open, okay. Otherwise, I would totally pass on this one.
It's always nice to dine at a restaurant where you know what to expect. Everything we ordered was very good. Our guests really liked the selections, since it was their first time there, and they were delighted to know that Boca was not really a Pizzeria, but had numerous specialty dishes that you couldn't find anywhere else locally.
Our server Nick was excellent and extremely attentive. We had a really good dining experience.
The diverse dinner offerings are always served hot, with fresh vegetables by friendly and efficient
servers. The two chicken dishes are particularly delicious, with generous portions and are well prepared.
We eat here often. Great happy hour and cool bartenders. I like when they let you get a drink in at 6:05. Waitress was a little slow and semi clueless this time. Not the norm. Manager was great picking up her slack.
great pizzas with lots of choices for toppings, what more could you ask...
Recen'ty discovered this gem of an Italian restaurant and this was our 2nd visit. Crusts on the pizza are W O N D E R F U L. Caesar salad has great taste. Cauliflower and brussel sprout sides are very good.
Looking forward to our 3rd visit.... mouth is watering already.
The general manager Antonio Macaluso could not have been more accommodating professional and kind!
This seems to be a great 'go to' restaurant for after/during shopping at the Village Corte Madera or having the family meet for dinner. And there should be ample parking at the mall. Gets crowded, so reservations might be helpful. Good service and a large selection of entrees on the menu, even pizza. There's something for everyone here. I think that there is entertainment on the outdoor patio on certain evenings.
Our pizza was soggy with grease, and half baked. The green salad and kale and bean soup were great. But, for a pizza place to rush out a piece of dough with a scattering of toppings in a puddle of grease is a disappointment.
Too bad the food isn't . I had a chicken dish. Maybe their pizza is better.
This restaurant is a very upscale pizzeria. The waiters are very attentive and the food came out quickly and was delicious! It's good to have a lunch restaurant that serves quickly so you can get back to work. Don't miss Boca!
lots of kids.....clears out by nine. Awesome polenta mushroom appetizer...and can't go wrong on the arugula pizza
Read yelp reviews before booking. New to the area, it was all we had to go on. Reviews were good, but we were still unsure when booking since the restaurant was in a shopping center. It was fantastic! Great food and amazing service! And dining with a three year old we still weren't out of place! Great find!
We had pizza, pasta, pecorino flan and grilled baby octopus. All was delicious.
Service was good, but the server kept trying to remove plates before we were finished- big pet peeve! I was still eating and everyone else's plate had been cleared. :(
We like to stop by for impromptu casual dinners. My husband always gets a pizza and enjoys being able to customize the toppings. I am in love with the Tuscan White Bean & Kale soup. Last time I asked if I could have the recipe and the manager/owner actually sat down with us and gave me step by step directions. The salads are fresh, creative, and a step above what you find in most restaurants. The service was extremely attentive and well-trained.
We are frequent diners who had a TERRIBLE experience. Service very slow, despite many empty tables. We ordered flatbread, assured it had only a hint of garlic. It came with heavy garlic, so we sent it back, asking for NO garlic. They redelivered with garlic, but said it had much less garlic! That went back, too. My husband ordered a steak cooked medium, and it came rare. They took it back, recooked the slices, dried it out! He told the mgr, who said he should have had a new piece, so it went back again! They brought a dessert we didn't want, and when the check came, they hadn't removed ANY charges, not even the $5. flatbread! An amazing demo of poor management. We were there for over an hour and a half for this terribly unpleasant dinner!
