Great tapas options for a group of picky eaters - gluten free and vegan
Friends met for lunch at Boca on a Tuesday. One of us needs gluten-free options and our waiter was so accommodating. He offered that the kitchen specially prepare a side dish for her - even though there were gluten-free options on the menu. All of us were happy with our food choices (the Goat Cheese salad is highly recommended - especially with shrimp). We were offered free refills of our soft drinks. We were never rushed, and sat and talked happily long after the meal was over.
The decor is rustic and attractive. I guess if I had one suggestion, it would be for more comfortable dining chairs. The seats are hardwood - cushions might be a nice touch! But all in all, I recommend Boca Bistro for its freshly prepared food and friendly service. A pleasure!
Always fun. Staff attentive and helpful, friendly.
Our meal was delicious from start to finish. We shared 5 dishes and a dessert. Everything was tasty with interesting flavors. Our waitress was efficient and friendly. A very pleasant, flavorful evening!
Seafood Paella was terrific! My husband and I celebrated my birthday in the little nook by the window, where you can read the labels on wooden wine boxes. Boca Bistro is one of our favorite Saratoga Springs restaurants.
Loved the unique selection of Tapas!!! Excellent food and service!
The seafood paella is so worth it! Savory and robust with mussels, clams, calamari and shrimp. Don't like the small whole squid? Let your server know when you place the order and the chef will substitute with more sliced calamari. Isn't that nice they did that for us? Very accommodating. And the Termes red from Spain was a perfect match!
Been there many times...food and service always great
Lovely evening out on Valentine's Day! The roses they gave out to the ladies all night were a really sweet touch. Thanks Boca!
Food, service, atmosphere were all good. Will definitely go back.
Boca always delivers--this time around we had a blend of tapas including the garlic shrimp (dunk the bread in that sauce), the sweet and sour brussels sprouts, pork belly, and chorizo. While the chorizo was a bit dry, it still had good flavor. Highly recommend for a laid back, leisurely dinner with plenty of delicious food and friendly service!
The food was so fresh & expertly plated. Octopus tender pork belly crispy delicious and the soup was a recommendation we are glad we chose. Service was exceptional! We’ll be back !
Birthday party table of 9. Excellent service as always!!! Love the food
Our food was excellent and our server was attentive and helpful, Half way through the meal the AC came on and it was cold. We told her and she gave us a menu to cover the vent which was helpful, but the air didn't get turned off. Our dessert was delicious and we look forward to returning one day. The only negative is the noise level as the tables are very close together and this is a popular place which means it was packed!
Great date night restaurant. Order several different dishes and share for the best experience. Can be a bit noisy, but the food is worth it.
A great experience as usual.
The food is OUTSTANDING, but pricey. This is not somewhere I would go every day, but we went for my 30th birthday, shared 8 plates between 5 people with 2 bottles of wine (cheapest bottles are around $30) and it came to about $170. Not bad for the unbelievable quality of food, but you won't get a cheap dinner here. I will certainly be back for a date night or another friend reunion. I also LOVE the vegetarian options - it's not often I can get a good quality meal without having to order off menu to omit meat. Highly recommend!!
It was my birthday and it couldn’t be more perfect. My husband lived in Spain and loved the authentic flavors of the taps we had. The pork belly blew us away, as did the bone marrow with toasted brioche. The octopus had good flavor but the pepper seasoning was overwhelming and took away from the seafood flavor. The ham croquettes were good, but we expected more flavor. And the tortilla wasn’t something I’d order again. The Serrano and manchego plates were heaven; the ham was sliced so thin. The wine list was bliss, so much tempranillo! The crema Catalana was nice and light with a refreshing citrus flavor and the churros were crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy inside. Our server was fantastic and the entire staff was friendly. The restaurant was beautiful.
Wonderful birthday dinner. Sean was an excellent server.
Dinner was ok. Nothing remarkable. I felt a few of the tapas were severely overpriced for what we paid but on the other hand, the charcuterie board we ordered was loaded for much less than I’m used to paying. Service was great. I really wanted to like this place so maybe I will have to give it another chance.
Great food, wine and service. I fantastic choice for a frigid New Year's Eve. It was warm and lively, and the waiter was great - willing to make recommendations and share opinions, and special requests to accommodate dietary restrictions. Boca is high on our list and part of the regular rotation and this last visit only reinforced that.
My husband and I really enjoyed everything we had, My only complaint was that the wine list was very expensive for not such great wines
The food was fabulous, service impeccable!
Great! Good food, good service and a pleasant atmosphere.
Wonderful paella dinner and whiskey
Excellent food with excellent flavor combinations at good prices! They offer something for everyone and the staff is friendly and very attentive.
This was my third visit. I love the ambiance and the food is always delicious. Thank you!
I have not had chicken crouquettes in decades! What a fun fun fun item to have in the menu!
Great food and drinks. Nice long bar. But a bit pricey for drinks
great ham crouquetts - great suated kale. just enough for a light meal
One of our favorite restaurants in Saratoga Springs. The food is always fresh, hot, and delicious! The service is always prompt. Try the paella. It is amazing!
Wonderful authentic cuisine
The food selection was very different with a great wine selection. Casual and fun for groups.
On a busy night we were seated immediately and only had short wait for our very personable waitress. She was quite busy but never made us feel rushed. Food was excellent and the wine even better.
We enjoyed the atmosphere. The waitress (Beth) was personable and very informative in regards to the menu. Being our first visit we appreciated her explanation of the combination of foods and the ordering process. We gave 4 thumbs up and we left with smiles.
The Seafood Paella was great!
Great food and service! I has the shishito peppers and the seafood fideo. The picture does not do it justice! It was beautiful and delicious
It was good with plentiful portions. Other than that, not much to say. It was good, not mind blowing.
Normally a very reliable spot for lunch or dinner. We have enjoyed several very good meals. This time they missed the mark on several dishes. Appetizers and meals were significantly overseasoned and over salted. The octopus special was tough and not well prepared. We will try again but were disappointed on this occasion.
I loved the ambiance and the food. Went to catch up with my mother and she recommended since she loved it so much the first couple times she’s been. Incredible
