I loved it. Great services.
Lovely place great food and excellent service delicious definitely coming back
Had a terrible experience with the managers. The food is mediocre and not worth it.
My wife and I had a great time for being our first time there. The service Was AWESOME the food was great.
Had a wonderful time at Boca. Food was ecstatic and service was awesome. There were 5 of us and each of us tried different plates in the menu. Flavorful and awesome servings. Food was phenomenal. In addition, we were even hosted to go to the Club for a night of celebration for my friend's bday. Kudos to Boca, you out did yourself. Will continue to rave about your place to all my cohorts.
Good very friendly staff
The food was below expectations. Not fresh at all, it seemed as if it was in the microwave waiting to be warmed up. I tried the ahi appetizer, it was disgusting, the fish was very, very smelly , extreme taste of inion. I will never go back nor I will ever recommend this place.
Great experience, server was polite and very helpful, Completly recommend it. Had the burger and it was very tasty
Not to satisfied with the mix drinks. I was there with my girlfriends and either them or my self thought there was any alcohol in our drink. We all had to order additional shots to add the right amount.
This restaurant needs to work on there communication. I booked ahead of time for a birthday party and was given to different answers over the phone and in person. The manager and server were extremely rude and not helpful what so ever. Never again will I go here especially when celebrating a birthday.
The food was great, the chips were a little greasy, but overall the environment was really nice and watching the dancers was cool too.
Food was just okay. Nothing special. Great way to avoid the lines on a weekend is to grab food before entering the nightclub. Otherwise not a place for a picky eater.
May wife and I had a fantastic time at the restaurant, excellent food, great ambiance and a welcoming team. Of course, the convenience of having the Conga Room next door is a great plus and we made the most of it!
I recommend you get the mojitos they are delicious! The food portionsare not huge, but overall the food was delicious.
I sat at the modest bar looking at the plate of food brought out to me. All I could do was look. I had no silverware with which to eat it. The bar maid was busy making drinks, I looked around to make eye contact with someone. The waiter brought my food but no silverware. After a few more minutes, I got up and went over to the first person I could find who was a disinterested bouncer. He ignored me. Then I went to the waiter, who had brought my food. The short, heavily bearded pudgy waiter with angry eyebrows shot me a look and told me to sit down. I told him I had been waiting for a while and he seemed to get even angrier. I was no longer hungry and ready to leave.
Here is the sad thing: the food was good. The service was horrible. The short, bearded pudgy waiter would benefit from indoctrination into the service industry. I travel to the hotels at LA Live on business quite often. I am scratching Boca off my list. This is more of a night club than a restaurant. Plenty of other options for travelers.
The restaurant is a good fit if your planning to go to the club too. The dinner plates are small and expensive. The mojitos are delicious. My friends and I had fun.
Good quiet place for a meal before dancing.i have been here several times and it always fills the bill.
Incredibly hard to find restaurant at LA Live, which has many dining options. we arrived at 8 pm on a friday night to an empty restaurant. Bad omen of things to come.
plaintains way overcooked. dry and inedible. chicken dry. Tacos plate ok. Only good item was the ceviche, the one non-cooked item, and the mojito. not bad. Service was fine, but the waiter clearly had no authority to address my complaints. during our entire stay, only one other table was sat. On a Friday night. This place clearly places its emphasis on its nightclub, not its restaurant. Will not return. Very disappointed.
Great customer service. Food was delicious. The staff was very nice and polite.
The venue was beautiful and turns into a night club late at night. The food was so-so but the service was awesome! The waiter (I think his name was John) was an added bonus with his friendliness and outgoing personality! The nightclub scene was off the hook w/ three dance floors and the eye candy floating around :)
I took my girlfriend to Boca at the Conga Room over Valentines Day weekend. The dinner was fabulous, our server was terrific, and we both had a great time. The club was also a lot of fun. Thanks!
I informed open table that it was my anniversary so the resturant would know how important was, the conga room didn't care for the note on the reservation, loss of control there. These details on opentable note are important.
The food and service is Awesome here and the free entry to the dance floor is a nice touch.
I had made a reservation and got a confirmation number. We were the last reservation fo the evening. Majority of the dinner selection we wanted to order was not available the waiter said they ran out for the evening. Service was horrible ! When we got there doorman said that they were at capacity even though we had a reservation. I was celebrating my bachelorette party and my evening was ruined. The club host gave us drink tickets while we waited so when we try to redeem at bar in club the lady bartender was rude and told us we needed 8 drink tickets we had only been given 5 ,she charged us $30 dollars anyway.
Waiter:very good personality, but had too
many tables to serve. Was gone for very long periods of time. The food:there was nothing for vegetarians, not even a green salad. Should have at least one cuban style vegetarian dish without cheese.had to order a small cheese pizza for $12. Tell the hostess to cover herb post when she has to leave for an extended timen and to also check the reservation off. The decor: disappointing. Nothing special. For the price of the food this experience should have been sooo much better.
I have eaten here before and really enjoyed the entire experience; however, based on the poor service this time, I have no intentions of returning. We were the first seating,so they were not yet too busy. We ordered drinks, then food, food arrived, the server never came back to ask if we would like another drink or if the food was good. We had planned on ordering dessert, but opted to get our bill and go elsewhere. The kicker is the 15% "service fee" added to every bill. This server certainly didn't deserve 15%, but he got it. Overall very disappointing experience.
Good drinks and great Ceviche. The Paella was not our favorite but the Steak was good!
They have a nice bar in the conga room and big dance floor.
Although the dining area was small (yet somehow not intimate), the food and the service was excellent.
Food here is super tasty. A little pricey for the portions, they run small...but again, the flavor is fantastic.
Food was delicious! Server was attentive!
Short ribs with mashed sweet potato was delicious!
After making the reservation on line they called me and cancelled it.
Portion sizes were small, but the food was good and the service was very good as well.
Our table shared several tapas dishes all of which were good but we loved the mac and cheese, which was rich and delicious.
From our greeting at the door, a wonderful experiance. The staff, and especially manager Stephanie, made my anniversary dinner memorable. Whatever issues I had personally, the staff, food, atmosphere; changed my troubles in to fun. The view from our table was the dance floor. And soon our angry stares were stomped out by the live band and salsa dancing. The Tapas were fantastic, the Mojitos were great. The Paella is worth the wait, everything on the menu is worth having again. We will be back twice a month, for the food, dancing and staff. My 15th anniversary was a hit. Thanks to Stephanie, my waiter Billy & Vica at the Congo room. This place is the definition of a. Point of interest.
Bad food. Really lame. Not even good rum drinks. And expensive for small portions...of lame food.
This is not complicated food. It has no business being this poorly made and this freaking expensive. We spent over 230 dollars for food that was not up to Versailles on a bad day.
Great service! ...Their Tapas were all delicious, and looked like pieces of art.
Everything was perfect except for their Mojitos, They are the worst I have ever had. They tasted like juice boxes.
They also had no wine.
But, If you DON'T wanna drink and want to have excellent food . I highly recommend it.
Food was amazing, dancing was fun. We had a wonderful time and would recommend it to friends.
I was very disappointed. I love cuban-american food and was looking forward to taking some clients to eat at this restaurant before attending the Lakers game. The staff was courteous and attentive but the food and everything was disappointing. The food portion on the "small" side especially for the $31-50 per meal price. We wanted to order some red wine but was told the wine list was down to 2 choices (This was at beginning of dinner time - at 6pm). I had a mojito and it was fine. We ordered some "over-priced" crab cakes and did not recieve the crab cake until we finished our entrees. We order the "recommended dish" a seafood paella. It came out 45 minutes late and it was the rice on the bottom of pan was burned. Stay out-dont recommend
To be fair about this review, our party of 4 dined here before a Kings game on a weeknight. There wasn't much activity in the restaurant and the dancing/bar area wasn't yet open. However, the food was fantastic, and the service was wonderful. Eveyrone enjoyed the plates we orderd as well as the mojitos. I would definitely recommend this place if your downtown.
