Great place for a nice dinner. Food was excellent. Service was good. Can't wait to go back.
We had filet and lamb and both were very good!! Our server Whit did a great job and we thoroughly Enjoyed the made in house desserts!!
Very good option if you are at the Omni. Best restaurant by far throughout the resort. Service was great. Food very good and wine list was decent.
We had a wonderful experience at Bob’s! Our server Daniel was great, and the food was outstanding. We sat on the patio, which was lovely. Would highly recommend for a nice evening out.
This Bob's is not like Nashville's. Guests in shorts, flip flops and hats, crying children and hit or miss wait staff. Steaks are still great though!
Service was lacking. Upon entry the front desk staff was very welcoming and directed us to our table indicating our server would be right there and would start us with bread. The server arrived shortly thereafter and took our drink order. Drinks arrived quickly. We then placed our order. Because we had not dined there before we were hoping for some input as to house favorites as we could hear other waitstaff describing various items to their customers. I indicated I wanted my steak more well done than medium and was told it would be butterflied. Our salads/soup came.... both were excellent. One of the best salads I have ever had but still no bread. We finally requested the bread. The bread is quite good! Dinner arrived and was good. I would not recommend getting a filet butterflied. All in all, fairly good experience. Service somewhat lacking for such an upscale restaurant. We will give it another try though.
We came here to celebrate my
25th Anniversary Dinner. The service was wonderful and the food was amazing!!
Very good. Waiter was outstanding. Steak was perfect. A little pricey. You get what you pay for.
We will never come to Amelia Island and miss out on dinner at Bob’s! It never disappoints and has become a staple in our vacation experience.
My filet was devine! Best steak I’ve had in years!
We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Bob’s! Courtney is an amazing server!!! The whole staff was so friendly and accommodating. The food and wine was incredible! You must enjoy a meal at Bob’s while visiting Amelia Island! And don’t forget to grab some jelly beans on your way out!
Food was superb, the waitress and other service were friendly and excellent (paid attention to my allergies and brought the food courses right on time), although they did forget to bring my wife the birthday piece of Key Lime Pie they promised her. It was a little disconcerting seeing so many people walk into the restaurant without wearing any face protection (mask, gator, etc.), some of them walking very close to our table; I wish the restaurant had required masks at least until the customers arrived at their table. Overall, it was an excellent restaurant, worth the price for a special occasion with family or friends.
My wife and I had dinner at Bob's Steak & Chop House while on vacation in Amelia Island. The steak for her (Filet) was excellent. Very tender and done just the way she ordered. My rib eye was tough and loaded with fat and gristle that when piled on my bread plate was almost one half of the original steak.
Our waiter thought he was a comedian and while his stories were funny at first they got old when he talked too much with other patrons while we were waiting on our order.
Great service and food.
Way overpriced. Ordered medium rare steak and got rare. Had to send it back. Surprising for a steak and chop house.
Courtney was the best. She made us feel as though we were the only folks she took care of that evening. The food was great, the service was better.
Very good overall, especially with food quality. The only reason this was not a 5 for food was due to what we thought was a bit heavy on the salt, especially on the meat. My meat was cooked perfectly per my request and aside from some not so tender spots you find in some NY strips, it was very nice.
27th Wedding anniversary. Everything was just fine!!
To be honest, we weren’t entirely sure how our experience would be based on the mix of reviews! However, my husband loves a good steak and liked he menu so we decided to give it a try. We sat outside by the fireplace and the ambiance was great! We both loved our meals as well as the atmosphere.
Celebrated birthday with dinner at Bob’s The service was great. My wife and I were able to have leisurely dinner and not be rushed. The service was well paced and the meal was delicious. My wife’s filet was cooked to perfection as was my filet medallions and lobster tail. Looking forward to dining at Bob’s again when visiting Amelia Island.
Had wonderful meal celebrating our anniversary. Food delicious.
Just average, ordered the stuffed salmon and NY strip steak.
Excellent food but extremely slow.
Unfortunately our experience at Bob’s was not a great one - the food was ok but cold, the service was on par with Denny’s (not fine dining) and overall I felt the value for the money was not there. We had so many wonderful meals while staying on Amelia Island and this was by far the least favorite of them all. I’d recommend the steakhouse at the Ritz instead.
Food, service and ambiance was outstanding. The quality of the prime filet and lobster tail was awesome.
4 out of 4 of us had to send the raw meat back. First cook time was over 30 minutes. Second one was over 15. Loud drunk table in the dining room ruined for many
My husband and I went to our favorite spot for a date night, Bob’s Steak & Chop House -Amelia Island, last night. We had our favorite server, Alicia. The food was amazing, as usual. We ordered the scallops as our starter. I promise if you get this you will not be disappointed! Each scallop is on a slice of bacon in a sauce of pure heaven! It’s so good! We then had the lobster bisque, which is a staple item for me, I get it each time I go there, need I say more? The filet was also on point, cooked to absolute perfection! It’s so tender you really don’t even need a knife. The drinks, made by Tia, also my favorite bartender, she knows just how I like my lemon drop martinis, were amazing as usual as well. The manager, Patrick, also took the time to stop by our table when he recognized us and chat with us for a bit. That’s great customer service in my book! We love Bob’s, as we call it, it’s “our” place and we think you should definitely stop by and try it out when you are on the Island too.
I was told this is a 5 star steak house but we arrived for my wife's birthday the first in line and waited 50 min. to get our meal. I ordered the filet which I do not think was a filet I have ever eaten as it was tough and did not look like a filet. I get better service and a meal at the long horn than this supposed 5 star steak house.
Celebrated closing on our condo
We had an amazing dining experience! Delicious steaks, sides and deserts! Service was excellent too!
Service was fine. The steaks however was to put it nicely was horrible. Filet mignon was difficult to check. My husband had the New York strip steak it was very fatty and had a vein running across the entire steak. I think he as only able to eat about 40%of the
steak. The knives to cut the steak were dull. The same knives are given to use a butter knives. Save your money, not worth the prices. Save your money and go to Outback and get a better steak for much less.
Good food but over priced. Service was very good.
Welcoming from the moment we walked in. Loved our waiter , Gordon, and the Tomahawk Ribeye was perfect.. A surprise desert for my birthday, creme Brule also delicious.
Great food and service but way overpriced. Steak was undercooked but was corrected by staff.
Service started with a long wait at the table but then was excellent once waiter arrived.
Overall some good some not so good for the price we paid.
All six of us were very disappointed that creamed corn was off the menu. Otherwise, it was a great experience for all of us. Thank you!
Food & service are amazing. Love the bread, steak, veggies, etc. Bob's never disappoints!
The waitress was horrible! She disappeared after taking our order and didn’t return until she brought our entrees to the table! My wife ordered dessert and the waitress brought the check to the table before the dessert came to the table! I wish the waiter that was serving the table next to us would have been our server! He was on point with his service and very attentive to the customers needs! This type of service I expect from a lower end chain restaurant not a nice restaurant!
The restaurant is nice but the service was slow and when the steaks came out they were cold and not cooked correctly.
