   Loved the pork chop and apple sauce. Wife loved her filet topped with shrimp scampi. I hesitate to share this secret, but outside seating is definitely the way to go if you can get it. Beautiful!

   As always Bobs Chop and Steak House did not disappoint. The food was outstanding and service impeccable. This is our favorite place to go and have a special meal. We have been going there every since it opened on Amelia Island. Living where we do we have a lot of options and this is by far our number one choice.

   Always sit outside on the deck, never inside. Anca is the best server on the planet. Ask for her.

   Had a base coat at the bar - wonderful bartender and great craft cocktails. Our resos were set for 6:30 - but there was plenty of room and we didn’t sit because of the base coat at the bar until about 7 PM of our own choosing. Once we got to the host stand and sat - apparently they never either assigned a waiter / waitress or whoever was assigned didn’t know we sat. A solid 20 minutes (or more) passed before anyone appeared at our table. Brie eventually got the lucky assignment and apologized and got to work quickly taking our drink order and sharing the specials and the preparations. The food and the plating are top notch and overcame the slow start. Point is - it’s a high end joint and you expect better. Not a wash out by any means - but kind of ended our vacation with a thud versus a wow.

    We had a marvelous dinner. Our server was excellent and the food delicious. Especially the petite filets with lobster tail!
