I’ve always thought Bob’s had the best steaks in Dallas. Tonight it was very good, but not THE best. Steak seemed like it came from a different provider and seasoning was off. Lacy, our server , was outstanding!
Excellent as always. The best filet and the cream corn and spinach top
We all had steaks and they were cooked perfectly! Would recommend to anyone for a great dinner.
Great food and service. Location was interesting.
Bone in ribeye was delicious! Service was outstanding!
Service and food were excellent. Noise level was too high for casual conversation. Price for quality of food was reasonable.
The place was great and everyone was awesome except for the hostess at the door; she was not very welcoming at all.
Somewhat disappointed with the over all experience for the price we paid and for the occasion we had. Since we only travel to Dallas rarely, there's to many other places to visit.
The steaks were disappointing, this time. At this cost point; every time counts!
Food was average for the price. Service was very very slow.
2 out of 3 steaks were not cooked to the temperature requested and the carrot was cold. Wine choices were terrible. Overall our first bad experience at Bob’s
Great food! Good service. A little loud for a business meeting.
Our server, Matt, was excellent and the chef accommodated a lamb entree as an appetizer. It was amazing! Bravo as usual.
Excellent service from valets and waitress.
We dined early so it was quiet. Beautiful old restaurant and ambience. Food was served promptly and was good.
It was everything I was expecting. It was the first visit for my friend. I told him of the legend this location is n Dallas. Its the see and be seen place for the movers and shakers in Dallas. The service was wonderful. The food was wonderful and it was the way I expected it. Saw several people I knew. I cannot wait to return. He said it was too pricey, but I said it was worth it. This location rocks!
The food was very good. The service was outstanding!!
Fantastic Steak House. Will be back next time i am in Dallas
Fabulous. Too bad the drunk people 2 tables over thought they had to scream at one another. Didn't harm our dining experience. We just had to shout to our table mates
Great food and impeccable service by Elizabeth and the rest of the crew.
Loved it! Our waitress Jamie was AMAZING!
We used to love this place and we will never return.
The place has been allowed to fall apart by the owner. This facility is in desperate need of a revamp. We had to move tables two times to find a booth that the seat was not broken/collapsed. The bad thing is that they knew they were broken for a while with no repair and actually sat people there.
Our server was very nice but apparently preoccupied and inattentive. We basically had to ask for everything we needed with no anticipation on her part exhibited. Not what is expected from a dinner that was over $200 for two people. Simply put, we should not have to ask for refills of our drinks etc.
The jumbo shrimp cocktail was wonderful. The steak was lackluster but the Australian lobster was excellent even though they over cooked it a little even though I ordered it to be not over cooked.
Very sad overall experience.
We dropped by Bob's unplanned during this week's downpour in Dallas.
We were greeted promptly and warmly and ushered to a great table in the bar. Our waiter was excellent, I don't recall the name but he was from Detroit. He was always helpful and on hand.
Sometimes I find myself just wanted a martini and a salad, a steak and a cabernet, and Bob's always comes to mind. We can rely on good food and service, and tonight was no different.
As always, just perfect! Excellent food and experience.
Food was wonderful as always. Waitress left a little to be desired. Inattentive, and seemed much more interested in a 4 top where the bill, and thus the tip, would be bigger. Much better service at their location in The Woodlands.
Great food as always and the service was excellent.
I wish I remembered our server she was fantastic. She helped make sure everything we ordered was gluten free or modified it by putting the bread toast things on a separate plate. Recommended great options. Was attentive even tho busy. AND THAT PORTERHOUSE just melted on our mouths. Worth every penny. This was a belated valentines date so not our usually date night but so fun
To celebrate our anniversary, it was great, everything was perfect for the evening.
We hadn’t been to this location in years but it was still magnificent!
Attended for a Valentine's Date. The food was good and the décor was nice. My date had a wonderful night, which is what was important. So the restaurant was fully successful where I needed it to be. There were two things I didn't care for: (1) Valet only parking - I don't like valet because I want to get in my car and go when I'm done; instead with valet you must wait outside (regardless of weather) for them to get to you. This honestly would cause me to choose a different restaurant on cold or rainy nights. (2) seating service - they seemed inefficient in seating people at tables and it was difficult to hear the greeter when she was ready to seat you; also there were several tables that were never used despite a long line of people awaiting seats. I am guessing something must have been wrong with those tables, but there may have been no staff available to repair or remove them. It was still worth the visit despite these two takeaways; they are merely the two top areas I would focus on were I the management looking for continuous improvement.
Amazing food!! I had the 28oz. Poterhouse and every bite only got better and better. PERFECTION! Our sever Karen was amazing...very memorable wine selecting process!
First time to dine; the lobster was inedible (mushy), salad came overdressed despite asking for dressing on side; carrot was horrible and steak mediocre. Hard to understand why they have such a loyal following for mediocre to poor food at high prices. Also, the place is very worn out; my chair was broken and about to fall over.
Early Valentines dinner
Excellent food and service, but another table of guests were so loud that I could hardly think.
Food was great. Good waiter. Carrot was cold:(
Overall good experience. Steaks were cooked to perfection. The service was a little slow but it was the Saturday before Valentine's Day.
I have been going to Bob’s for years, and love the Lemmon Avenue (original) location, but unfortunately on this evening, my steak was over cooked. I have always ordered medium rare “Pittsburg” style, and Bob’s has always delivered a True medium rare—until now! The steak was a true medium to medium well. Our waiter offered to start another steak, but by the time she checked to see if our food was satisfactory, I would have been eating alone. Too bad, but I will give it another try!
Amazing food per usual.
