We had a great experience. The food was amazing. We definitely will come back to have dinner there. Thank you
Always ask what is off menu. Leave room for dessert.
Amazing!! God cooked to perfection. Service is awesome.
Great experience. The shrimp appetizer and the wagu Tbone steak were amazing
Perfect night to catch up with a friend! Great salads, and shared a filet! Delicious!
Last year we also ate at this restaurant while in town for the volleyball tournament. Because we enjoyed it so much we tried it again and were delighted with the service and meal. I had the steak and lobster special and it did not disappoint. The waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu items. I ordered a drink and was served the wrong drink. So I received the correct drink and they did not charge me. I thought it was a very nice gesture and completely unexpected. The food was superior to almost all other restaurants. You will not be disappointed with anything on the menu
Do not waste your time........ service was Ok. Table was to load... in the hallway....
We were there for a celebration and the staff was amazing and the food was terrific! Great time!
First time visiting this restaurant while in Dallas for business... Steak was great. Wedge salad with Neske bacon was very good. Wait staff was very good despite only being at restaurant one week. I recommend this restaurant.
Celebrated our honeymoon here and it was amazing. We would recommend it to anyone!! Best steak we've ever had
Our food was alittle cold (seafood) but once we let them know they definitely fixed it and the waiter was alittle slow.
Consistently fantastic. Always a great meal. When my hair stand and I dine at other steak houses, we always end up comparing them to Bob’s and Bob’s always comes out on top for us.
We had delicious steaks and an amazing stuffed salmon. The service was great and the whole experience was simply perfect! When you are near Dallas you should definitely go there.
I had decided to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary with an overnight at the Omni because of your restaurant being also at that location. I was not disappointed as our server, Tammy, even made it more special with her wonderful service and great humor. Yes, I will return again for another fabulous experience.
Great visit. Cliff was awesome!
Once again...Bob's hits another home run. The drinks were fantastic. Service, perfect. and the food just outstanding. We come to Dallas to stay at the Omni and eat at Bob's. Its like coming home for us. Its just an outstanding restaurant in every way. Every employee of Bob's is a professional no matter what their job/task. We look forward to many many more visits in the next few months.
Well, once again Bob's came through with a fantastic evening.
We love Bob's! Everything is top notch. Drinks, Food, Service.....just outstanding.
The highest quality food and service is always delivered at Bobs!
We have been to Bob's twice since moving to Dallas last month and absolutely love it! The service is amazing and the steaks are perfectly cooked and flavorful. We've sampled the NY Strip, KC Strip and Wagyu Filet and all are top notch. The crab cakes and bacon are also delicious.
Ribeye steak was great! Lemon drops were excellent too!
Always love the kind and professional wait staff. The food was fantastic as always.
Great meal and fantastic food! Service was the best.
Service was great and food was very tasty. Thank goodness we had a late reservation because the noise when we first arrived was very loud. It was hard to have a conversation until later in the evening. It is expensive enough that it will be only on rare occasions that we go there.
Very nice experience for our Anniversary. The Waitress was excellent!
My dream for over twenty years has been to have a steak at Bobs. The ads I see in magazines and newpapers make it seems etherial. However, on a recent birthday trip to the Omni Hotel Bobs in Dallas I was disappointed. If you bill yourself as a steak house you better Bring! the steak and they did not. the service was knock your socks off with a delightful waitress named Tammy. The bartender made me a superior Old Fashion. the bread was good, However the baked potato was just average and the rib eye, well I have my doubts this was a prime cut. First of all it was about 1/2 inch this too thin to get a char on the exterior without overcooking to medium rare(which it was). Very disappointing steak. I finished up with a brownie sundae which was good but again nothing to write home about. Summing up, when in a city full of steak houses at these prices you better deliver and for me they did not.
Exceptional dining experience, wonderful service, steaks to die for... what more needs to be said? Thank you!
The food was excellent and service was wonderful. We will definitely be coming back.
We ate here 2 nights..First night the food service was very slow. They were very busy and without me saying anything they made it right. Kudos. Second night I ordered the 42 day aged KC strip steak. Price was reasonable at $62 and was cooked perfectly but the tenderness was not where it should have been for being aged 42 days. It still tasted very good though. The bread, cocktails and servicewere excellent. No worries at Bob's...
Excellent service and great food!
The overall experience was perfection. Kayla was a great server. We were greeted right away and each course was timed perfectly. She shared with us her knowledge of food and wine. If we go back to this location, we will ask for her.
It was crowded, but we were given a private booth and had no trouble carrying on conversation. The service was impeccable. A shout out to the server in charge of loaded baked potatoes! They put on as much butter, chives, cheese, and bacon bits as you want, table side! We had the 9 oz filet and the 14 oz ribeye. Both were delicious. Unfortunately, there was no room for dessert...maybe next time.
We were really looking forward to a great TEXAS steak, and heard much about BOB's, but much to our disappointment the reputation did not match up with the food. Our waiter was excellent,
the Caesar salad was bland, did not finish eating the salad, was hope full the steak would be excellent. I ordered the 12 oz. rib eye medium rare with onion rings. The onion rings were very good, the steak was not. On arrival it looked great, when I cut into the steak it was tough and very much under cooked, very rare, and very fatty even for a ribeye steak. Our bottle of wine was excellent, clearly the best part of the meal. When we arrived we tried to get to the bar for a drink but it was filled with people eating, and watching basketball, we went next door to the sports bar and waited for our table. The hostess was very nice and came and got us when the table was ready. Both the hostess and waiter were very apologetic about the food.
Our experience was disappointing, would like to have good things to say, but the food is what really matters and it fell short of expectation. No bang for the buck...........
Fine dining at it's best! Optimally located in the hotel for guests. Service, fare, atmosphere were excellent!
Great time ,my server Rob was great!
Overall great steaks but be ready to drop a couple of hundreds on the food.
Absolutely the poorest quality steak I have ever been served in a supposedly fine dining steakhouse. I have eaten in many outstanding steakhouses in the southwest US and have never had this experience. I suppose I should have known better than to eat steak in a restaurant housed in a hotel. It was definitely what I would classify as “hotel food.” I tipped our waitress at 20% as is my custom as a reward for knowledgeable and attentive service. I will stick to Ruth’s Chris or 3 Forks in the future.
This was absolutely one of the top meals I’ve had in my 60 years of living. From the moment we walked in the atmosphere was quiet elegant and very special. Our server could not have been more attentive knowledgeable and timely. I had the rack of lamb while my husband had the ribeye, both were incredibly seasoned and cooked to perfection. Normally I don’t have much to say about salads but in this particular case it was so good and the champagne vinaigrette was to die for. We both had the pan fried potatoes with mushroom sauce again I don’t know how there could’ve been any improvement on that it was great. Then came the desert which was a chocolate Rowny that was warm right out of the oven with chocolate peanut butter ice cream and chocolate sauce truly one of the best desserts ever! I certainly shared with our waiter our wonderful experience and asked him to convey our “job well done “to the Chef. My husband and I talked about the food all the way on our drive home and even after we got home Great job Bob’s!
I've been dining at Bob's Steak and Chop House for 16 years. This was the first time I have been disappointed in the quality of the steak. Typically, my wife and I dine at the Legacy in Plano location where we have obviously been spoiled but by both the service and the quality of the meal.
Overall, I would recommend Bob's Steak and Chop House. I was disappointed this particular time. Because I believe this was a one off situation, I did not make an issue of the meal hoping that our next experience will be outstanding as usual.
