The Mahi Mahi was outstanding. The waiter was very attentive and the hostess was pleasant.
Great ambiance with beautiful intracoastal views in delightful setting. Our server David was wonderful!! My wife and I are both vegetarians, and this restaurant has more options than most with special separate vegan menu. We will definitely go back there again many times in the future!!
Food was delicious Variety of items to choose from. All the servers we nice, friendly and very professional. First time at the restaurant. I would go back. Next time I will request outside with table in shade if I go at lunch time. We ended up eating inside because there was no shade at the table they wanted to give us.
The best paella in Fort Lauderdale! Amazing service!
Good, tasty, creative food but expensive considering portion sizes, particularly for appetisers. Lobster lacked flavour. Limited dessert options. Most ice creams not available.
Table service exceptional.
I have been to The Boatyard several times and the food was always very good. This time, however, I was very disappointed in the salmon which was overcooked and smoky. I don't like smoked meat and this was not supposed to be. In addition, the mashed potatoes were watery and almost like from an instant potato mix. I will go again as I'm hoping that was a blip in an otherwise excellent record there for me.
Started out ok. Ordered appetizers and they came out quickly and were tasty. Two of us got the peach fuzz mocktail. It has very little flavor.
Dinner took 45 mins to come out. Food was just eeh. The chicken dish was
oily and the vegetables hard.
Dessert was probably the best thing. We got the mousse chocolate dish and they brought out a second dish with a sparkler for my daughter’s birthday.
I don’t think I will return.
Tasty meal of pork tenderloin & shrimp. Especially loved the tomato & mozzarella salad, enough for 4.
This was our first time here, and our waiter Christian was excellent and the food was very good. We will be back.
It was a wonderful experience. The waitress was wonderful and the food was delicious. This was the start to a wonderful “Sister’s Trip…cheaper than therapy” Cruise to the Caribbean.
Great service. All waiters were attentive and polite. We got there early so there wasnt much of a crowd, but after 12 it was much more crowded.
Great food, great service, and a very nice atmosphere.
Great atmosphere and service! The lobster ravioli was delicious. They sure know how to make a good martini too!
Always a good time at Boatyard. George was a great server, very personable. And the outdoor setting is fantastic. We’ll be back.
We ordered a few apps and they came in 5 minutes which was great since we hadn’t eaten all day. Tuna tacos and Bimini bread were both delicious. We each ordered grilled seafood and one side - we shared fries and blistered green beans. They were both very flavorful and huge, we didn’t come to finishing. My mahi mahi was delicious with the saffron sauce. Our apple tart was unfortunately over cooked and hard, our server comped that dish.
Although the entire staff was friendly and accommodating, our waiter, Dustin, was fantastic and truly made the occasion special.
The food was very good, as always.
Boatyard never disappoints!
Service was good. A bit too loud for some of my guests.
Another wonderful dining experience at Boatyard!
Great food, great service. We always get a memorable experience. We have sat inside, and this time we sat on the dock. Dishes are very unique and desert is wonderful.
The experience was beautiful and loved seating outside.
Also the salmon Benedict was very great and the chipotle sauce on top was amazing.
Will come again.
Great food and ambience as always, and Brittany took great care of us yet again
Table Service was excellent! Could not ask for more in that area …
When we arrived I checked in for our reservation and was immediately told by the hostess … we have a two hour limit on tables! That was a bit off-putting … I guess they throw people out if the go over the limit????
Beautiful space … what we could see of it … way too dark … needed to use cell phone light to read the menu … it was even difficult to see what we were eating …
Unfortunately we were seated across from a fairly large group … with young children … noise level was difficult at times …
Food was very well prepared
Portions were smaller than expected for the prices charged
Might return and give it a second try
Needs some work in areas noted
Lot of great restaurants in Ft Lauderdale
If you charge too prices… need to provide a top experience
Not really the case on this visit
One of our favorites when in ft Lauderdale. Brussels sprouts were delicious and fish is always so fresh. Our waiter Donald did an amazing job.
Great food and service
It has been 2 years since traveling to Fort Lauderdale and our favorite restaurant there.....the service provided by Dustin was wonderful! Very upbeat and efficient despite being very busy! That being said, the food was not as great as I remembered and the prices were not in tune with the food prep and temperature. Will say the wine was chilled and water glasses always filled. Darn, miss my memories of the great experiences from the past!
Came to celebrate a friend birthday was amazing
When I made the reservation, I put, under 'special occasions', that this was for a birthday. I'm glad I didn't tell my wife but, you could see the disappointment on her face. I watched every other table around us get their 'sparkling' cakes, thinking that ours would come at the end of dinner but, it didn't. I didn't make a huge deal from it because I made sure she still had a great time, despite the fact that it was so loud and we could barely hear eachother. I'm just saying, you have to pay attention to those things because you never know what that small gesture could do for a person's day.
A Fort Lauderdale favorite featuring great fresh fish
Great culinary experience, fantastic service
The menu was very limited. Items on the menu could not be combined. We wanted truffle mash and couldn’t get it because they give a certain portion. Didn’t have mac and cheese they claim it is only seasonal. They serve a shrimp scampi and I asked for the additional shrimp with scampi sauce on top. That couldn’t be done only grilled. If their is chef in the back I feel like anything can be accommodated. The server Jessica was ok but felt like she was being very sarcastic with her answers. I wouldn’t go back because of all the NO’s I kept getting.
Restaurant closed due to power failure and filled with smoke
I ordered surf and turf. My petite filet was very good. The shrimp were slightly over cooked but flavorful. My partner’s sea bass was excellent. One would not choose this establishment for a quiet romantic meal with intimate conversation but the noise level was never objectionable. This third visit will not be our last.
Our server was great but the outside bar service was incredibly slow. We saw other people walking away frustrated because they couldn't get service. It didn't look very busy there either.
Excellent food (the Florida paella and brussels sprouts were out of this world) and service. We sat outside and the setting was so peaceful and lovely, we made another reservation as soon as we came home.
Noise inside was extremely loud so we asked to move outside. The outside seating was terrific! Will definitely go again but will always sit outside. Food was fantastic & the service was stellar.
Our server is not that attentive and we were next to a pretty noisy crowd. The food is just average but the view was nice. Appreciate to get seated next to a nice view.
Great experience food and ambiance ! Food was great portions are moderate size —- brunch menu is limited in regards to breakfast more lunch food - unlimited mimosas etc were kind of weak (but then again I like my drinks strong lol
The only thing I would complain about is that if you were ordering the bottomless mimosas you were expected to get up and serve yourself from inside the restaurant each time. Especially as we were sitting outside down the steps and by the water I was not going to be getting up and down constantly nor was my mother going to be able to handle multiple trips up and down the stairs to get inside to self serve our drinks. It kind of put a damper on our once a month brunches because had I known we wouldn’t be served mimosas in the traditional way we would have chosen a different restaurant for our brunch. The food and service was very good as always though.
Only one recommendation- please make the decafe coffee hotter. Has been almost cold the last two times we have been there. Overall great place , great food and service. We’ll be back! Thx again.
