Boatyard was a wonderful spot for our first dinner of our vacation. The food was fresh and delicious and we loved sitting outside by the boats.

Excellent meal and service! I always go to this restaurant when I'm in Ft Lauderdale.

We notified of anniversary in reservation. They did NOTHING does coal nor did they even offer it for a few that we would have been willing to pay. We made reservation weeks in advance of flying to ft Lauderdale. Nothing Special here.

From the moment we stepped into Boatyard we could tell the staff was all about service. Though high end dining, it felt casual and welcoming. We had generous portions of seafood both appetizers and main course. Delicious.

Service and food were great

After reviewing the countless wonderful reviews of this restaurant, we decided to book dinner for two. The staff were perfect but the food was not. Not that it was horrible, it was not; there a better places in Fort Lauderdale for the price. Disappointed after trusting reviews on open table and trip advisor.

Numerous previous visits without any complaints but this vusit was disappointing - as service was really bad. Waitress seemed to not fully understand the menu and bringing food at the same time for all diners. She even had trouble with the ipad in paying the bill. "Left a bad taste."

Meh. “Octopus” appetizer was really chorizo and potatoes with a tiny amount of octopus. Greasy. Weird.

Caesar salad was unmixed and had a huge uncut up romaine heart in it. Not enough dressing.

Great brunch. The hostesses were lovey. We enjoyed our family brunch.

Very good food which was a pleasant surprise as I just winged picking this restaurant. Fish dishes were amazing and the Brussels Sprouts were Devine!! Good service till we kinda got lost at end of meal. Highly recommend.

Had not been to this location in a very very long time. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful. High ceilings, large windows, separated seating, lovely bar. The outdoor deck is wonderful if you can get a seat. It is first come, first serve. We had multiple wait staff assisting us. Drinks, food, were high quality and tasty. We will return. I recommend you give it a try.

Simply one of the best lunches in south Florida. The calamari, fresh fish, homemade side and fabulous desserts made this a wonderful experience. My husband even had an orchid in his drink! Fabulous food and service make this a must to return.

It was such a lovely experience, the food was amazing very fresh and the drinks were phenomenal. Nice ambience and great service.

During the pandemic, The Boatyard is still a great destination restaurant in Fort Lauderdale! We enjoyed our dinner, especially with great service by James!
Miss the seafood cart, but understand.
Outdoor dining here is much better than inside, so try to make that happen.
We look forward to another visit later this year.

Birthday dinner

This place has an excellent view and ambience, and good quality of fresh oysters as well the service was good.However, there is no any soul in the kitchen, I mean if you are used to eat real European food like in EU family restaurants, this place is not worth it. You will be really disappointed and it seems that the people don’t know taste of a real high quality food and they are used to eat average quality food without any heart and sincere attitude to clients.

As always, Boatyard does not disappoint. Great drinks and food. Our waiter, Christian, was energetic and attentive. This is one of our favorite places in Ft. Lauderdale.

This is our third time dining here and it seems to get better every time. The food is outstanding. We had the Bimini Bread, shrimp cocktail, Caesar salad, tuna tacos, halibut special and the key lime baked Alaska and crème brûlée for dessert. What made the meal an experience was our terrific waiter Donald. You can tell he loves what he does.

Have been coming here for 30 years and the atmosphere has changed into a dance club for brunch! Food was mediocre at best, music too loud and several dogs inside the dining room when there were seats outside available. The staff is very aware of all of this and we had great service in their attempt to offset the problems.

Beware of the tables under the tree outside. It's super sticky from sap dripping. But food and service was great!!

we have been going for over 15 yrs back when it was Bimini Boatyard. The last few years the prices have skyrocketed, everything is ala carte and the quality has gone down. My sons steak was inedible and tasted literally like a hotdog. Despite 3 notifications, they did not recognize my husbands birthday. Sadly we will not ho back, despite the great outdoor setting.

Nice day for a wonderful lunch with my friend. I had the salmon salad and she had the chicken sandwich. Both lunches were delicious. We were celebrating her birthday and unfortunately the restaurant offered nothing to help with the celebration. Our waiter was attentive until it was time for our check, it was difficult to get his attention, but we understood because he had many tables to attend to, oh the days of Covid dining. Then our check came and I was over charged for my salad. A bit of back and forth with the waiter, but after checking the menu, it was confirmed. The restaurant did the right thing and offered me a discount. All in all a nice lunch and I will be back!!

Went for Mom ‘s bday. Great food great staff! Definitely will be back. Quality of fish great and drinks were very good and interesting! Also looking forward to trying happy hour!

I have enjoyed my Christmas dinner with my wife in this lovely place. Very good address to keep in the directory. We will come back.

Outstanding food in a very nice restaurant . Nice view of the water and I highly recommend it!

Service and recommendation for choice of fish was outstanding. Boatyard is a very easy walk from the Renaissance Ft. Lauderdale Cruise Port Hotel.

Tiffany the server was good. Attentive minus the end when paying—took her awhile to come back to process payment.

The Bimini bread was a bit stale and the honey was just a blob of sugar on certain pieces.

The tomato mozzarella was also just ehh. The tomatoes were not very flavorful and too ripe and there was not enough mozzarella vs tomato ratio and also the mozzarella wasn’t fresh. It seemed like something bought at a basic store

Ny strip was best of the worst. Too thick of a cut and too much fat Flavor was ok. The cauli/zucchini mash was tasty

We ate the food bc we were hungry but it was all just mediocre and not worth the high price.

Shame bc this place used to be really good. The space was pretty and staff were friendly

the staff was incredible Despite being short staffed they had wonderful attitudes and worked as a team and we never felt unattended Food always is incredible here and all 8 of us had multiple apps and different dinners and all were perfectly cooked It was a pre holiday celebration and thanks to everything I mentioned one of the most festive in years

Great time with get together with college roommate from 44 years ago. He was visiting at Hilton Marina while waiting for cruise so picked him up and took him to Boatyard. He loved it and said thanks for picking such a nice place. The food was great. My Grouoer pic Atta was superb. We sat outside and was perfect weather. Our server was spot on throughout our 3 hour stay
