    We’ve dined here multiple times and have loved the ambiance and overall experience. However this visit unfortunately was less than. We had our reservations which were pushed back 25mins due to the rain which had to bring everyone seated outside, inside. Of course this is expected and understandable. No issue here. Where I was disappointed is that rather than seating them in the private room dinning area, they seated them in their main dinning area. This left the rest of us with reservations to be seated in the private dinning area where the ambiance and seating is nothing like their main dinning area. The seats were very uncomfortable, tables were sticky and it was very cold. The lights were brighter and nothing unfortunately relaxing about it. Thankfully the service was outstanding and food was amazing, as usual. My hope is that this review will help improve how things are handled, incase of last minute seating arrangements, due to unexpected weather.

    Great food and very good service. The music was a bit too loud and very much too much bass, especially as far away from the bar as we sat.

    We had the best time at Boatyard for dinner during my sisters bachelorette. The vip concierge, Nicole, took great care of us making my sister feel so special. The staff was great. The food was delicious. The views were beautiful. 10/10 would recommend to anyone coming to FTL!!

    Although the venue is waterside, we had a table inside, and there was a very bad invasion of flies. It was very difficult to enjoy the food what with having to swat flies throughout the dinner.

    Beautiful ambiance! I wanted to be by the water under the stars. Food was tasty- great selection. Definitely will impress a special occasion restaurant, date night or relaxing space with fantastic food.

    We had a wonderful celebration dinner with Brittany! We had a perfect seat outside looking at the boats and water. All the food was so good! The oysters were the best I’ve ever had! We got the branzino which was crispy and delicious! We will be back

    Wagyu carpaccio, calamari, roasted chicken, branzino, pialla- all delicious. Offer great Sancerre by the glass. Restaurant inside and outside was quite packed and loud with DJ but we got a table outside away from the chaos and it was perfect, the noise did not travel. Wonderful evening!

    Somehow combining classy and casual, the outdoor seating was comfortable and beautifully designed. The food itself was delicious, minus the lobster tail which was too salty to eat, and overall it was well worth the cost. I would say stick to their standard entree choices over getting lost in the small plates and appetizers. Definitely the better choice. However, the vegetables were great as well. We got the brussel sprouts and cauliflower as sides and they were amazing. Also ordered the captains tower and the sea bass. Service was great, water was refilled, staff came by to do table checks, coursing was well done. For the price and location by the docks, it was definitely a worthwhile spot. Would come back for sure.
