Excellent location and a variety for the pallet. The paella was delicious and the service was exceptional. My next trip to Ft. Lauderdale will include a visit to The Boatyard.

We started going here when it was Bimini Boatyard and really enjoyed it. We have had mixed results since it changed to just the Boatyard. But this time everything was excellent. The Caesar salad which was big enough to share. Loved the additions to a classic Caesar. My wife had the simply grilled salmon with fingerling potatoes, which she lived. I had the Spicy Grilled Salmon and it was great. I loved the flavors and the pistachios in the sauce and cous cous were good. For desert we split the warm apple tart. A great end to a great meal. Keep up the good work.
We had a reservation. When we arrived we were sent to the outdoor area because they believed there was seating. When we got there we were told that there was a half hour wait. We returned indoor to the hostess. She said that there was no other outdoor seating. I found a table. The hostess was stunned. The hostess should know what seating is available. Our waiter was superb. Once the food was brought to our table, it turned out that one of the entrees was dry and not edible. We alerted the waiter to bring some sauce. He did and arranged to comp the entree. No complaint about the service, but the food and seating at the outset were a problem.
Lovely outdoor dining except when the occasional boat decides to blare our loud music.
The tuna tacos were excellent. Avoid the octopus.

It was nice the location. The food was great for the most part. Mahi Mahi was great.The filet was great.The New York strip was not tender.The dessert was great. The green beans were awful. My fav was the bread and honey butter. I thought was over priced $140.00 for 2 total,and only 2 glasses of wine on the bill. For $140.00 wanted to be wowed,didn't happen.
I was disappointed. A $250 DISAPPOINTMENT.
My wife and I have dined here twice now. There is no better place near Port Everglades at which to go for dinner either before or after a cruise. Good food, very attractive decor, and a lively atmosphere. It’s walking distance from several hotels in SE 17th St in Fort Lauderdale. Be sure to reserve ahead -Boatyard is very popular.
We actually had to leave - as a business meeting - the noise from the bar was so loud, we were shouting to speak. We could not conduct any business what so ever. It was too bad, because they have good service and food.
The food and service were excellent as usual. The restaurant was busy and extremely noisy, making conversation difficulty, but we managed. It’s a pricey night out. Quality, however, is consistently excellent.

A short drive or Uber from our hotel.. i ordered the pan seared scallops which were wonderful. Everyone in my group enjoyed their meals. The atmosphere was enjoyable. The service was great. I recommend reservations if planning to sit inside. Outside seating is available however there will be a wait since there are no reservations for outside seating. Definitely would go again.

The food was some of the best we ever had. We both ordered the Cesar salad and grilled Mahi Mahi just absolutely wonderful. We shared a desert that was a kind of Bake Alaska and Key lime pie again the best. Has a wonderful view of the outside and service was top notch. This was our first time here and we will definitely be back.
Boatyard offered friendly service from the bar to servers. Top quality food and drinks at a reasonable price. Will definitely return.

Wonderful experience! The waitress could not have been nicer nor more patient with us. The food was excellent from start to finish and the atmosphere was incredibly pleasant. Everything about our experience was fabulous. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Alex, our server was exceptional. He came over to the table just enough to check in on us throughout our meals. He also made it a point to make recommendations to us of different items on the menu. Definitely recommend the calamari as an appetizer, the yellowfin tuna for dinner, and the apple tart or the mango cheesecake for dessert.

Found this on Open Table and hit the jackpot! Being in Florida we stuck with the seafood and it did not disappoint. My Mahi Mahi was grilled to perfection. Moist, flaky, and so fresh! My friend's Spicy Salmon with golden raisins and pistachios equally perfect. Conch fritters were flavorful, but cooked a bit too long so it was easier to break them apart by hand, then cut them. Minty melon cocktail could have used a bit more jalapeno to give it some bite, same for the conch sauce. Will definitely return as it was very good. Lunch for two with two drinks and an app came to $96.
Anniversary. We let them know in advance that it was our 29th wedding anniversary. We chose this restaurant to celebrate. There was a card to the waitress on the table that we accidentally saw letting her know but NOTHING was said or done. I requested a cupcake or dessert to celebrate even if we had to pay and still nothing. Sigh dissapointing
