Overal this is a lovely place to come and enjoy and The setting is beautiful. The live music is also a really nice touch.
Food was nice.
Just some feedback on Bottomless Packages (Mimosas & Bloody Mary) - I understand you are not making a large profit on these however it was inconvenient that we had to constantly wait for tokens even when our drink had finished and then join a queue to get the drink.
I would suggest that perhaps simplifying the drink to either champagne or Prosecco and then giving guests with the package a different stemmed glass that the wait staff actively fill up as and when necessary.
Beautiful restaurant. Excellent service, food, and drinks. Our friends from out of town LOVED IT. Cannot wait to return. Top notch!!
Anniversary dinner with my wife of 8 years. Everything was perfect with one minor detail ; the hostess came across as quite rude. We brushed it off and waited at the bar where the bar tenders served us killer margaritas and made us laugh with a great sense of humor! Thanks for a great evening!
Great place for the entire family...servers were attentive, food was delicious and the view enhanced the experience
Such great food and service. A bit of a wait but so worth it!
We had a beautiful outside table by the bar, noisy, but fine. Quieter tables available. The service was great, the Raw Bar brought to the table on ice is fantastic. Our branzino was delicious, as was our salad.
We hardly had room for dessert, but ordered the baked alaskan key lime pie. Don't miss it; great tasting.
We've been here before and look forward to going again.
We had dinner here to celebrate a birthday. Ken was our waiter and he was outstanding. He provided dessert on the house for the birthday boy. We were aware of earlier reviews stating that birthdays were not recognized and we didn't expect it to be recognized. Our food was great, especially the grouper picatta and of course the traditional steaks. Ken was well worth the generous tip and we made reservations to come back in the spring. Highly recommend this establishment for the ambiance, the food and the service.
It was a nice Valentine’s Day dinner. Best oysters I’ve ever had. Only complaint was it felt like I was at the club sitting outside. Lots of people with loud music.
Great corner table inside overlooking water. Our server Mar o was amazing. Grouper was best ever!
This place is great if your outside, to over pay and sit inside was not pleasant. Made a reservation in December for Valentine’s Day asking for outside only to find out they don’t book the outdoor tables defeating going to a nice restaurant on the water. Food wasn’t bad but wasn’t worth the price.
Sit outside!! Romantic. Lovely
Service was great, food was delicious. We sat outside which was beautiful and quiet. I was happy we sat outside because inside was really loud.
My grouper was awesome. My husband loved the branzino with shrimp. Both are regular menus items. The appetizer Bread with honey butter was delish too! Highly recommend this place.
The atmosphere is great, service is great, and food is spectacular. No negative info here.
it was a quiet and an amazing place. I took my wife to have lunch and drinks. views were relaxing. service was great and food was amazing.
A consistently good seafood experience. This place hasn’t changed much over the years but you can truly count on a quality experience. A go to lunch spot in ft Lauderdale. Awesome fish tacos and my wife’s grouper was delicious. Only knock was tomato based gumbo; really?! Ingredients we’re there but clearly these aren’t folks from Louisiana
Deserts beautifully executed and delicious. Great valentines lunch
My favorite restaurant in Fort Lauderdale! Amazing food, amazing setting, great staff. Highest recommendation possible.
Great service at the bar! Our hosts were excited to greet us and made a very excellent beverage. The table inside was a bit on the noisy side. If you can, do go outdoors to enjoy the sun and watch the boats. The main scallop dish is truly luscious. The fish is very fresh, but you might wish to order more sides. Our waitress had trouble finding our wine, so we ended up finishing our appetizer well before and beverages (besides water) were served. All in, a nice upscale place to dine.
Delicious food, poor service. Arrived 15 minutes early for my reservation, got directed to the bar and was left there for 45 minutes until I inquired about my table. Got a table in the bar area next to a large party. Our waiter seemed rushed and annoyed. Food was very good but why spend money when you feel uncomfortable.
I included this in two places of my reservation that it was my boyfriends bday and no one ever mentioned it.
We went for Sunday brunch. I really like the mimosa and Bloody Mary bar. I liked how you could create your own! I have the Benedict bar. It was great and tasty.
Enjoyed a delicious brunch here! Parked in the lot across the street - plenty of spaces. Blackberry mint tea was quite refreshing. Bimini bread so soft and divine with its honey butter. Brussels sprouts were amazing and didn't even taste like Brussels sprouts!
And then had the eggs Benedict bar, which was also great. Could choose from English muffin or biscuit; then add Canadian bacon, crab cake, or smoked salmon, before freshly-cooked poached egg, with choice of Hollandaise sauces was placed on top. Allowed to have two of them on one pass, plus fruit and potatoes from the bar. Our server was so friendly and helpful. Very pleasant and delicious meal in beautiful setting!
Our server was amzing
I had a wonderful time celebrating my birthday, staff would come up to me and wish me a happy birthday which was wonderful. My biggest concern is that half of my party couldn’t have a specialised coffee as there was no Soy milk or alternative milk produce.
Went to celebrate a 50th birthday. Good food and drinks. Disappointed that the restaurant did nothing for the birthday despite being told when the reservation was made and again tonight.
Ben was our server, excellent service and friendly.
A very nice restaurant. The server was knowledgeable and friendly, did his job very well. Food was very good as well. The menu for anything other than seafood, as you might expect, was limited by acceptable. We didn't have alcohol, but everyone around seemed happy.
Lovely restaurant with nice light, good views of the water, super outside seating. Bimini bread was great as were the unusual assortment of drinks from the bar. Fish was good, sides arrived warm when they should have been hot. Outstanding, delish apple tart dessert. Overall enjoyable evening and food . Will return.
Food was inventive and fresh. Conch appetizer good. Entrees above average. Key lime dessert was a disappointment but presentation was very nice.
Boatyard was an amazing find! We were staying at the hotel across the parking lot and looking for something close so we were not expecting anything spectacular; we just wanted to eat. In the end, we had a dining experience that rivaled some of our favorite restaurants from around the world.
The food was outstanding. From the appetizers to the salads and the entrees, we were more than satisfied. The portions were generous, the preparation was flawless, the presentation was appealing, and the flavors were spot-on. We sampled a wide variety of dishes (Brussels sprouts, octopus, stone crab, ceviche, shrimp, and halibut) and they were consistently excellent. The price points were moderate. This is not a 'cheap date' by any means. However, this is an instance where you get what you pay for. High quality seafood is not cheap.
The service was great. Our server was knowledgable, attentive, helpful, and professional. He guided us through the menu, made helpful suggestions, and made sure everything was to our liking. The restaurant was busy and he had several tables, but never missed a beat.
I give the Boatyard my highest and most sincere recommendation. If you love good, fresh seafood prepared and presented with excellence, this is definitely a restaurant you want to try. Whether it's a date night or grabbing a quick lunch, don't hesitate to make a reservation at the Boatyard.
All four of us loved having lunch at the Boatyard. The food was excellent. Our waitress was helpful and friendly. My husband enjoyed his shrimp cocktail. I loved my salmon and my friend enjoyed her fish taco. enjoyable place to dine.
My go-to for important guests. Always accommodating, friendly, professional, and top flight.
Great food but kitchen was slow
Christine was fabulous! Cocktails; Yachtsman and filthy cosmo were excellent to start the evening. Great special with the Mahi Mahi curried with mussels and my wife had the yellowtail tuna, both were spectacular. Nice, reasonably priced wines. Desserts topped off a fantastic meal; baked Alaska and creme brûlée. Fantastic in all regards.
Nice menu, delicious food and good service. Because of high ceilings, can be noisy.
Been here several times . The Bread is delicious and Brad our server was very nice. Just wish the people would remove the plates before they bring the next course. I had the paella and it was creamer than I was expecting. It was good though but not very spicy even with the andouille sausage in it.
Three different types of seafood was ordered, and we all found fault with, toughness, taste, or too much salt on everything.
Very, very Loud! Food was really, really good, soup to nuts. Service was kind of slow, but acceptable since we were not in a hurry. Overall, it was quite nice and recommendable.
