Great romantic dinner. The Chevice was delectable. Next time, hold the cilantro. It is not the only herb in the world.
Wonderful place to dine with friends! Highly recommend the Sunday Brunch!!
Great food and service!
Open table was helpful
Wine list was good
My experience was a memorable one. The food was delicious, the service was great. It was my birthday I had a lovely time.
Food and service were wonderful and the outdoor area is Gorgeous. The only negative is if you eat outdoors be prepared for flies when your food arrives. We had to swat them away throughout the meal. But as soon as the food was gone, the flies disappeared. We were there on 9/22. Maybe other times of the year the flies aren’t so bad. Or you can eat inside. It’s beautiful inside as well and there are great views of the water. Def will return.
Food was great!! waiter was very professional and kind. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for any special occasion.
The food was excellent the service was outstanding and the ambiance was magnificent
Grandpa’s vacation came to an end with a lunch there. Awesome place!
Our waitress Priscilla was absolutely awesome. Couldn't ask for better. We all ordered Saturday lunch, all three ordered a different grilled fish all 3 spectacular. We went thinking Saturday brunch but it's only on Sunday...but we had the BEST lunch. Love Boatyard. Clean, great waitstaff, food, waterfront dining with beautiful weather.
I am a regular, and love this place, but had the most disappointing experience ever on Friday.
Cocktail ing was fun inside and out and the bar staff are great. However, far less attentive than normal.
This trend continued when we moved in tour table.
We sat many minutes before our server appeared. He took a drink order which again took a long time to fill.
He then offered appetizers which we agreed were a good idea, but I suggested” what about the fresh seafood cart?” It sone of my favorites.
Well the cart passed us 3 time and never stopped, so after a 20 minute or so wait, we flagged down the waiter, and skipped the fresh cart, just get us some food.
The apps were fine, but the enter was very slow to arrive, and when it did, the fish were cooked very dry.
They waiter had offered no advice about he sauces, and some in my party passed the opprtunity.
At any rate the service was disappointing and not up to Boat house standards.
We will return, but not for a while.
They need to work this out.
The staff and wait person were very professional, quick to respond to my requests and my wife and I enjoyed our dining experience.
Boatyard was a lively and exciting place for dinner. I had the sautéed grouper and spinach. It was delicious. My cocktail was a delicious mojito. Service was excellent.
Comfortable setting, delicious food options, service was outstanding - highly recommended
My birthday brunch with friends.. all was amazing
Our first experience at Boatyard was Christmas Eve, 2 years ago, and it was so bad, we had "boycotted" it since. Besides the fact that we all hated our meals, the waitress continued to try to serve my 13-year-old daughter wine, and we ordered 2 bottles of Voss water and they charged us $28 each (almost $50 for 2 bottles ... it's only WATER folks, not wine here !). Ok, so fast forward to this past weekend, where we decided to give it another try, despite knowing it was against my best judgement. Again, food was fair at best, we skipped on the bottled water, but did order a $50 bottle of wine - figured it's about the same price, so, what the hey), waitress did try to serve my (now 15) year old daughter, but once we told her, her age, thankfully, she did not continue to try to serve her this time. It was not that busy, and although we had reservations, we were asked to be seated, where multiple groups were sent at tables who got there after we did. After about 20 minutes, we got up and asked why we still had not gotten our table, and were told they they had seated us out of view and THEY FORGOT ABOUT US (REALLY!?). Unfortunately, the service never improved ... we were waited on by multiple people, so, we're not sure if someone quit, got fired, shift ended, or if they kept forgetting about us throughout the night? Our bill was well over $200 for 2 adults and 1 minor (2 small tasteless side salads, 3 bland fish entrees, $50 ok wine, 1 iced tea, and undercooked Bimini Bread), which we don't at all mine paying if the food is worth it and service good ... neither were. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me ... sorry, there will be not 3rd time, Boatyard!
Credit card machine was not working properly now I have two charges for hurt same amount
Booked the restaurant for my husband's birthday. Food was great and restaurant has lovely ambiance. They have seating inside of outside with lovely views of waterways with yachts. Highly recommend.
Great experience from food service and atmosphere. Great views too!
Our fish, crab cakes, garlic mashed potatoes were outstanding. Not a cozy location due to size but overall great service was provided. Would have liked a larger variety of meat choices for those in our party who did not want seafood.
Great staff, drinks very good, food was ok, a little pricey for what it was- substitution made and told after the fact - oh by the way- but it was acceptable, just not what we ordered. We will return try something different.
Excellent time, great services, always excellent choice of cocktails.... love the food stations
Everything very nice as usual.
When I’m in town, I always like to stop by with friends delicious Keylime martini, etc.
Great dinning experience. Excellent food, great service and nice atmosphere. Very good value for the price.
So delicious! The mojito and tuna tacos were outstanding! Looking forward to the next dinner.
Food excellent. A Little pricey, Waitress service excellent, support service needs some training. Overall 4 1/2 stars out of 5
Extremely disappointed. Not our first time dinning here. Prices are high considering they do not come with any sides. Steak was very dry and not cooked to perfection. The famous Bimini Bread was not at all the way it use to be. It was basically a load of bread with no honey or sugar stuffed in it as it use to be. Ordered a side of heirloom tomatoes. Got about 6 small pieces of yellow and red tomatoes with nothing on them. For $8.00 that’s a little pricey. As nice as the restaurant appears to be I am not sure we will return as there are a lot of restaurants in the area that in my opinion are nicer and do not disappoint.
What an enjoyable evening. The weather was perfect the table was perfect the service was perfect and the food was perfect.
Good food and good service. Creme brûlée is exceptional. Espresso coffee is not good quality. A nice selection of wines not unreasonably priced.
Great restaurant. Highly recommend if you are in the Fort Lauderdale area!
Nice spot in Fort Lauderdale. Not particularly memorable, but the food was good and our server was nice. Mid price range.
I come to Boatyard about 2-3 times a month. The food is always great, and my selection rarely changes (filet+jumbo shrimp). I order medium-rare, and it usually comes out exactly how it should, but last visit was just below par. The steak was def. more on the rare side, and the jumbo shrimp was also slightly undercooked. Both were larger than normal, which could explain the mishap. Even at this, most of my steak was cooked to order, and our desserts more than made up for any of the meal’s shortcomings. Tried the Key Lime dessert, as well the choc. duo. Super Savage! Our waitress was super attentive and on-point with recommendations.
Fabulous food and a great location right on the water! Loved their fresh seafood bar where you choose what you want. Fish was so fresh and prepared beautifully.
Boatyard is everything a hip South Floridian would want in a brunch destination. Waterfront location, cool cocktails, chic crowd, and clean modern decor is an Instagram must.
Very good omelettes, and bottomless Mimosas, Bellinis and Bloodly Mary's are worth it!!!!!!
The bottomless drinks require a token and having to go to the bar to retrieve each drink... same with the benedict bar... i don’t appreciate fetching food and drinks from across the restaurant... i mean this is far from a Sizzlers lol
The drinks were great but the eggs in the eggs benedict were not cooked properly. Overall good dining experience, my server was great. And the bimini bread is always delicious!
Our server Laura was great. Very informative. She offered us some great choices and they were all delicious
We love the Boatyard! Always great! We love the food its amazing! Ryan is THE best server by far. So accommodating & nice, such a nice personality. We always enjoy it there.
First time Sunday for brunch & our favorite bartender was our server!! Thank you Ryan
The benedict station had a wonderful young man who besides cooked an amazing breakfast was so nice & professional.
We loved it & highly recommend it❤️
We go by boat and they have a dock master to help you dock.
Very creative and delicious dishes. Great place for any occasion!
Good local restaurant with a nice water view. Nice outdoor seating although a bit hot in the summer. Only missing some additional fans or misters would be great.
Service was friendly, food was very good, martini was great.
