    Food was ok but not great. Poached eggs were so bland and overcooked it was really disappointing. Server had a strange attitude when we ordered and seemed triggered by simple questions. As a result I just ate the sad eggs and paid the bill. The location is stunning but I wouldn’t go back given the overall experience.

    Our server, Tara was absolutely incredible! She’s so much fun and very personable. The only part of our experience was the parking! The City should allow the lot in front of the restaurant to be free or at a reduced rate for restaurant patrons. The added expense of parking is too much for so many, they would go to another restaurant. As well, charging staff is ridiculous! So many of the employees are students who really don’t need the added expense or have the cost of parking eat into their income. We have frequented this location for years but now think twice about the parking cost! It’s bad enough that the parking for launching a boat and parking your trailer for the day is $40! The restaurant remains a favourite as we have had a number of meals and events there over the years.

    I had reserved a few wks in advance for a special celebration. For special requests, I had asked for wumdow seating as our guests had never been to this location and we wanted them to have the full experience. Upon arrival and being escorted to our table, we were placed in an open table. I explained I reserved a window seat. I was then quite blatantly that it was first come first served. Not impressed. Our guests daughter was served her meal 10 mins before the rest of us. Was not impressed. Have been here many times before and after spending over $500 for our meal this time my husband was furious. To say would we return, doubtful.

    Great atmosphere, service and food. We had guests from out of town and took a chance that this was a good place to go. Lovely view and an overall excellent experience!

    Had dinner last night with another couple, as our wives were celebrating their birthdays. Our server, Janet went above and beyond to take care of all the little details. Got a patio table, service was well paced. Everyone was happy with their food order. Will definitely keep going back.

    Beautiful scenic table at a beautiful scenic location. Service was fast, accurate and friendly. Food was delicious and company was very pleased with their meals and service as well.

    We felt there was a relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friend’s home. The strawberry lettuce salad was refreshing. I enjoy and appreciate that mocktails are on the menu. The Crème Brûlée is consistently delicious! Service was well-timed and friendly.

    Excellent meals with lots of choice for very different tastes. They did a careful job of ensuring the lactose intolerant person was not inadvertently served something they could not eat. Decent wine at a good price. All told, we had a lovely evening.
