The service we received was great!!! We had to return the strawberry margarita twice just not drinkable ended up ordering a beer instead. Steak had to be returned twice not cooked medium rare as we asked first time was medium well the second time it was raw!! To compensate us we received our desserts on the house we all
ordered 3 course meals so our desserts were $5 each.

We went to the boat house for our grandson’s birthday, there were four of us. Arrived on time 630 for a reservation but found absolutely no parking! Had one disabled and two seniors in the car so long walk not possible. Waited 15 to 20 minutes in parking lot till someone left. We had no idea of parking situation there. Service was good, waiter was very nice, front house staff apologized about parking. One dish was not good. It was crab fest and so crab linguine was ordered. No sign of any crab. Sent back to kitchen to add crab. Came back almost exactly the same. I feel at the price and the special crab fest some crab should be visible on the linguine. I only would not recommend this boat house location because of the parking situation.

Over priced. I ordered a glass of milk with my meal and a small glass cost $3.99 that’s the same as a whole jug of milk. And my husband ordered the bacon burger and he got 11 French fries with his meal. So he ordered more and it cost $4.99

We were a party of four out to celebrate my birthday. Reservations were made and we had to wait a little longer than our reservation time which was fine. The view was nice; however, the background noise was quite loud. I expected to be a more interment setting. Definitely a popular place for the Tri-Cities.

The servers were friendly and advised that it was quite busy and that our food may take a little longer to arrive. In the meantime, they brought us a basket of bread which was warm and fresh and our drinks came quickly. Our food order consisted of a burger for my brother which he said was good, the salmon plank for my mom, she did not like the vegetables served with it (wrinkly carrots), my husband had the seafood pasta which he said was okay, and lastly me I had the fish and chips which was overcooked. I told everyone to start eating and will let the server know. Only one thing, we could not locate our server or any other server in the area. When everyone had finished their meals, this is when our server came by and asked how everything was. I let them know that my meal was inedible and overcooked (they could visually see it was burned). The server did apologize and offered to get me something else; however, I noted that everyone had already finished with their meal and it was pointless as we would probably have to wait another 1/2 hour for me receive my food. So my birthday lunch consisted of bread and butter, and a pickle from my brother’s drink.

My mom was so saddened as she was exited to be with her children and wanted it to be a special moment in a special place. I thanked her and let her know that at least I got to spend some time with her. The good thing about our experience was spending time with my family.

I’ve been to other Boathouse locations where the food and service is exceptional. It’s a pity as this location is close to where we live. I wanted to love it but really I didn’t and would not recommend it.

We have gone to the BH in Port Moody many times and had great experiences. This most recent experience was a disaster. We had virtually no service, dirty plates were never removed without being prompted, refills were not offered. Our server never returned to the table after taking our order. Managers provided excuses, not apologies or improved service.

Tuna tacos and coconut shrimp were great, the coconut lime cod was excellent, however the oysters had shells in them and some looked like they had no moisture and were not worthy of serving.
However we will still go back.

A get together of long lost friends was enhanced by the comfortable ambience of the restaurant and our server Amanda B. , who did not rush us, ensured glasses were always full, and laughed with us.

I have emailed already from a different email address. The service was horrible. The food mediocre. We wanted to give the restaurant another chance because the view is great and location convenient. But we were yet again disappointed. We feel we should be given back our entire bill which was over 300$ for the 10 people that were there. We will never come back and will not recommend to anyone else.

Nice view. Very good server. Food was ok. When considering the value though the food was underwhelming. The view of the water was amazing!

Disappointed with the level of service. Made reservations for 8 (4 kids and 4 adults). Seated immediately on arrival, our simple order (completely vegetarian order) was taken immediately, and then nothing for 45 minutes and after several requests to have the children's food brought, as they were hungry. Restaurant was quiet, and not busy at all.
No explanation given, no apologies, just poor service. Just paid our bill and left. Won't be going back.

The female bathrooms at the Boathouse were not well maintained. I often feel if the restaurant does not take pride in their bathroom cleanliness , what else is lacking?

We’ve been to this location before and have had great food and service, however depending on when you come the quality of food can really differ. I had fish tacos, my husband the salmon burger and my daughter the kids fish and chips. My tacos had the smallest portions of fish, barely half the size of the tortillas, even smaller than the kids portion on my daughters plate. It was not really worth the price, and the salad was over dressed. My husbands salmon burger was cooked well, except the tomato in the sandwich was the end piece with the stem which was slightly off putting. My daughters meal was fine, she enjoyed it. Service is always good at the boathouse, I’ve never had issues. We will probably pick someplace else to come on Sunday lunches, as they obviously have a kitchen staff on that cares slightly less for putting out good food.

The atmosphere was great. I love this Boathouse location. The service was excellent. We found out it was our server's s ncond shift but we couldn't tell because she did a great job! Our mains were a long time coming out but the kitchen was slammed by a large group so I can understand. My salmon was over cooked but the rest of our party said that their meals were really good.

We’ve always had an amazing time and come back each March as a tradition; however, this time was not up to par as the others. Service was very slow, for drinks, bread and dessert. My husband’s steak was undercooked. His $36.99 meal was definitely not worth that - he left hungry.

However, my meal was delicious (crab & tuna poke bowl)!

The server brought our bill forgetting about the dessert we ordered, which then took another 10 mins for a piece of cake.

Overall, we were un-satisfied with our last experience at the Boathouse.

This is the first time I have ever had poor service ...and I'm a constant customer . My meal of steak and crabs. Our meal came before the melted butter, steak knives, crackers, wipes etc. I had to stop a waiter to ask for our cutler ues and butter . No water refill or anything. Disappointing

The location is beautiful, the location is relatively easy to get to WITH A CAR (virtually impossible if taking transit), parking is kinda difficult...depends on what else is going on at the park. The ambience is lovely...BUT, my gosh it's loud. I'd asked for a quiet table. I suppose that there is no such thing at this location. It was my dad's birthday and conversation with elderly people was difficult. Such a beautiful building and really lovely inside but I wish there was a way to dampen down the sound. The server, Astrid, was wonderful; a real pleasure. The food was not bad. It cooled down really fast though so I dunno what that was all about; the room didn't feel overly cold but there was a bit of a draft so....
All in all; a good outing but I may hesitate to return if only because of the noise levels. We all left feeling exhausted from shouting to try to be heard.

It was okay after we complained a bit. When we made the reservation we requested the patio and even though it was only half full they said there were people waiting for those tables and then proceeded to sit us next to the kitchen away from the windows when the view was mainly the reason we went there. There were a couple empty tables at the window so my husband requested they move us there. After all we did make reservations and why give those preferred seats to someone just walking in with no reservation? I think they should be more accommodating to those they have made the extra effort to reserve.

The food was good and the waitress was great but prices are very high for what you get. Halibut for $40 and the size of the piece of fish is about 4” by 2”. It’s was very good but not a lot of value.

This is my last visit to this location. The service has been on a decline and so has the food quality. On my last visit we waited for 30 minutes for drinks. Crab was salty and presentation was off. I've been a loyal customer but have seen a decline over the last year. Way overpriced now for service and food.

The waitstaff was pleasant as always and apologized perfusely for the long wait for food. It was crab fest so the wait was somewhat expected. However at the end of the night the manager came out to offer her apologies as well which was very much appreciated. The ambiance fit the fine dining experience; however it was pretty loud which made it a bit hard to hear our own conversations. But overall the experience was great as always. This location is my family’s go-to place for special occasions

Overall experience was not good. Party of 8 @ 1pm. Took 20 minutes to order food. Took another 40 minutes to receive food. My husband's pasta was dried out. My mother-in-law's chicken was cold.

My first experience at this restaurant on Mother's Day 2017 was very positive. Would I return back to the Boathouse? No.

Our server did an excellent job even though table staffing was severely reduced. Our poor server never complained but it was evident that she was completely run off her feet; so unfair to her and to us, your customers. This a problem for management to solve and by no means reflects on our server.
The food was good but highly overpriced. Although we purchased the $25 card, I don't know how often we will return once the card is used.
We came to celebrate a birthday and had an out of town visitor with us; this information was stated with the on-line booking.Your website was good and easy to use. However, the reception staff didn't seem to have read the on-line booking comments. We were placed in the row furthest from the window; close to the noisy kitchen! Very disappointing!
Our celebration was affected due to reduced table staff for tables furthest away from the windows. In summary, it was a disappointing restaurant visit which was only saved because of family.
