    Overall amazing restaurant, Boathouse is always excellent, food quality is great, service was good and ambiance was really nice. My mom was celebrating her birthday and your restaurant made it for her. We got a dessert. I notified the restaurant when I made my reservation, that was really sweet and appreciated that they made it special for us. Overall 10/10 for us. We will be back in the future. I will say for anyone else reading this, you get what you pay for. This is not a cheap restaurant, the location is exclusive and the food is excellent. So bear in mind it’s pricey. But to me it is worth it.

    Went here for our anniversary dinner. The services was very good. Really attentive. Acknowledged our anniversary, took pictures for us, made good suggestions on food and drinks. Also brought us a little dessert to celebrate. It was pretty quiet when we arrived and then the restaurant really filled up halfway through our meal. I don't think they really anticipated it would be so busy, and our service was apologetic however there was no need for it. She still did a fantastic job, but you could tell she was working very hard and also managing a few large birthday parties.

    I am never disappointed at the Boat House. I love the ambience, they have an amazing menu with such a great variety of dishes and the food is always delicious. The server was wonderful and provided just the right amount of attentiveness. I will definitely be back!

    The location of this restaurant is priceless, unfortunately, our experience was not. Prices were very high for the portions we received. When our server dropped a glass of iced water on my wife’s head, completely soaking her, there was no response from the manager. No discount, no voucher, no apology other than from the server. Towels were provided and the ice cubes removed from her blouse pocket. Had we not been hosting an out of town guest we would have left…

    Ordered a tempura prawn roll - which was completely deep fried - not just the prawn - and a total grease bomb. Ordered calamari and we both agreed it was some of the worst we’d had. The halibut and chips were fine - but at $44 for one serving I should think so! Waitress was lovely and trying her best, although obviously inexperienced. Venue was fine with a great view but I am unlikely to eat there again.
