We did Dine Out Vancouver, had the Coconut Shrimp, Lamb Shank Entre, Calamari & Mocha Ice Cream cake. Coconut Shrimp was amazing, best I've ever had. Lamb and Calamari were good but the Mocha Ice Cream was a disappointment. It was like it was in the freezer for a bit too long, similar to frozen ice cream you bought at Superstore.
Service was great and not a lot of people so quite nice.
I would recommend this restaurant, just not the dessert we got.
Went there for Dine Out Vancouver. It was great. Good deal, great food and service and ambience.
Jaz was awesome! He was very accommodating and friendly and made our date night the best it could have been. The food was excellent as always.
We took part in the dine out menu. We started with coconut prawns and lobster bisque. Both were delicious. Then I had the surf and turf with mashed potatoes and my husband had the seafood combo with rice. The food was mediocre. Not a lot of flavor. We ended with a mocha ice cream cake which was very icy and not creamy. I had the creamer brûlée which was ok. Nothing spectacular. The waiter was very friendly but within the first 15 minutes, the water needed to be changed (it was cloudy), I received the wrong size cocktail, and we didn’t get bread with our appetizers. Overall, for $45 it was okay. I was hoping for a more flavorful meal.
I really didn't enjoy my meal. My wife liked hers.
Ordered calamari to start. Was not good. I wouldn't even put it in my top ten.
For my main I had the Coconut lime cod with quinoa and fresh veggies. The cod was dry, rubbery and really small. There was way to much quinoa. It was really salty and greasy. The veggies were greasy and overcooked. I ate the fish and left the rest.
My wife had the same appetizer and same feeling about it as myself. For her main she had a seafood pasta dish that she really enjoyed.
Very good menu choice, tasty food, timely and friendly service.
Great service and food was delicious.
The view was awesome and would highly recommend
Getting seated and orders were slow, was given wrong order, food were almost mall foodcourt standard.
Was a special occasion ( wife birthday)
wrong choice, wife unhappy, i got “ grilled “ when the bill arrived!
Rather go somewhere elese next time , lesson learned.
Wonderful location and food was delicious!
Never disappointed! The staff is wonderful!! Thank you
Food and service was great, appreciated the safety protocols in place.
Must try!! Halibut with black pepper sauce and crab&lobster ravioli were amazing!
Belle place, une vue splendide avec un excellent service!
Excellent place to dine. Very friendly and great food.
Husband ordered salmon for his entre but it was quite dry and fishy. The server was very good about taking it back and replacing with the miso encrusted halibut, which hubby said was fantastic.
Overall dinner was very good and our server was delightful.
I'm grateful we had the opportunity to celebrate New Year's Eve outside of our home this year even with the COVID variant swirling around. The restaurant provided a lovely evening and allowed us to enjoy a moment not thinking about a virus.
New Years Menu was awesome, lobster bisque 9.5/10, Eden’s service 10/10.
Thank you for a great way to end 2021
Great food and excellent service. Had a nice view of the river from my seat.
We sat for 20 minutes before we were offered water or asked if we wanted drinks. There didn’t seem to be a shortage of staff. It felt like we had simply been forgotten about. We were trying to decide which one of us was going to approach the front desk and inquire when we might expect to be served, when our server finally came to our table. It simply seemed as though they had sat in us in a section without any servers. We then sat waiting for our drinks for another 20 minutes. By this time we had been served our first course and had the plates taken away. When my drink finally arrived my husband ordered me another one right away. We were being served our dessert when I was informed that there was some kind of problem with a machine that would have had nothing to do with the making of my drink and that they wouldn’t be able to serve it to me. At that point I no longer wanted the drink anyway. I had ordered the most expensive cocktail on the menu and was prepared to have 3 drinks throughout the course of my supper. We ordered steak and lobster and I noticed that everyone around us had their butter brought to them before their main course was served. We had to ask for ours to be brought to us. When our main course was brought to us the girl serving noticed we didn’t have steak knives and asked if we would need them! All of that said, thankfully the food was excellent. It had been years since we’d been into the boathouse and won’t likely be back anytime soon.
the place was so cold that guests had to wear their jackets at the table. was not informed that it was a set menu. for the price they charged it was not worth it. we were starving after the dinner. would not go back for a new years dinner
Food was good for the most part. Steak overcooked for one person. Salmon was excellent. Restaurant was very cold
Found the food delivery was confusing.long time waiting for my drink. Had to ask for bread for our table. Side dish did not come with the main order, waiting for it & the order was getting cold. We like what we ordered but not the delivery.
The restaurant was freezing cold and the service was slow and when talking to the hostess she was abrupt. The appetizer came to us cold.
Dining Room was freezing, no heat! Understaffed long wait for good.
Hot chocolate (to warm us up) was ice cold!
Would have expected some sort of discount.
Food was good and service was good.
Heater was not working in the restaurant and the front door wasn't full closing. It wasn't enjoyable because we froze!
What was supposed to be a special night out was anything but 'special'.
At 6:45 there was no one at the entry, No greeting beyond "do you have a reservation?" After being screened in we waited for 5+ minutes while a number of staff discussed where to seat us. The first option was unsatisfactory the second barely better. The third was good but in what had to be the coldest corner of the building.
There were some Christmas decorations up at the entry. In the rest of the premises the only visible reference to the holiday season were strings of plain lights. The music was not seasonal which would have been OK had it been more for dining...being inappropriate the volume did not make it more bearable.
Service was satisfactory but overall less than we expected and have experienced in previous visits. The food was nicely presented and tasty - altho the turkey breast was overcooked and on the dry side,
The end of the evening (approx 8:30) we simply a walked out of the restaurant - withno Thank you for coming, no come again, no Happy Holiday.
Dispite Covid a better effort should have been made for a ''special' evening.
Christmas dinner without the mess and outstanding quality meal!
Our Christmas dinner was very good, our server was great. My only complaint was the music was a little loud for having a conversation.
Restaurant was fine but they really need to provide free parking so parties can stay longer without worry. I got a expensive ticket while I was dinning!!!
I would not go there again and would not recommend anyone to go if the parking situation was not changed and fixed!
Good service. Coconut shrimp is excellent! Had the miso halibut; was surprised it was breaded. Was expecting a filet. It was quite good. Veggies were perfect. They brought a nice desert for our daughter’s BD
Quality of this restaurant used to be fine, now it is not…food presentation was poor, sticky glasses from bar are unacceptable…salad was low quality and quantity, pasta looked like slop with too much sauce on a small black plate which reminded us of a cheap restaurant, the seafood ‘platter’ was not worth the cost and certainly was not for 4 people, bringing deserts all at different times was nonsensical, we booked weeks ahead yet they sat us at a freezing cold table by the door-so much for our ‘special’ Christmas Dinner. We will never go there again…this used to be our dinner place for special occasions, not anymore.
Excellent service in a lovely venue. Server was attentive to our needs.
Waiter was named Michael, service was excellent fish was also excellent. Minor complaint is calamari way too much batter. Wine selection was also good, thoroughly enjoyable evening.
The food was very good but we had a brand new waiter who cannot even open a bottle of wine I respect everybody has to learn but they need to get some basic training before they come to the table that’s a business dinner but once again the food was very good
We had a very good meal and the waitress was great we realy enjoyed our time there thank you
Our server, Michael, was very helpful. Great atmosphere.
Great food. Great atmosphere. Really enjoyed myself.
Very poor service from the start to the end.
Never coming back. Really bad experience for our wedding anniversary.
Basic food didn’t get condiments asked for. Worst yam fries ever. Very okay.
Great birthday dinner with friends. Joon was a great server, thank you for the wonderful service Joon!
The sirloin steak was tough
Minimal light so dark at the table
Service was good
