BOA Thai Asian Fusion
Always a pleasure to dine there
We had a lovely dinner @ BOA. They clearly do a very brisk takeout business, too. The dining room was very empty, many diners sitting @ outside tables though. The food is fantastic and the portions are HUGE! The entrees are not cheap but when you factor in how much food you get, you'll think its worth it.
Sunday dinner outside on their porch.
Service was excellent but the food was wildly uneven. My daughter loved her fried rice but my massaman curry and pad Thai were literally inedible. Super dry chicken in curry and the pad Thai they replaced it with had a tremendous aftertaste that made it inedible. My son’s dumplings were ok
Very young wait staff that needed supervision. VERY EXPENSIVE. Food delivered to wrong table and not cooked enough
We sat outside on a beautiful cool evening with friends. Casual setting, excellent fresh food and pleasant service. This is becoming a favorite!
Boa is always a pleasant choice. The roti is delicious and the pad thai never disappoints - and there is enough for some left overs :)
The service was great we had such a lovely Thai waitress who was very excited about their food and sweet to us. Ambience is nice and cosy.
Decent Thai/Asian fusion food but a bit pricey for the quality and portion-size being served. Wait staff is accommodating.
After making reservations for 2 couples for dinner & receiving confirmation we arrived only to find the restaurant was closed. Handwritten sign on the door, but obviously they never updated Open Table. Had to find last minute table at another restaurant. Not a good impression at all to give new customers, bad business practice not to notify online site about new business hours.
Very slow service - only one person for seating and waitressing. Several people already seated walked out while we waited for just water and to place order. Waited at least 60 min for appetizer to arrive after being seated. (On the brighter side, ambiance and music was nice.) Would not return.
Our servers were attentive, the food perfectly seasoned and menu had great selections. Best pina colada I have ever had! We'll be back!
My husband and I ate at Boa this past week. We had a delicious meal. The wrapped shrimp and the vodka lemon drop cocktail were particular stand outs. Service was very good. Plan to go back again very soon.
The restaurant did not have our reservation - we were 7 ppl. Service was crazy slow. Seemed they were under staffed however it was not one of their busiest nights - Very Very expensive for what it is-
The food was very good but we felt the pricing was high.
The dishes were also quite salty and we asked if they used regular soy which is very high in sodium and they said they did.
We suggested they use low-sodium soy which is much less salty.
Then people can always add salt but you can't take it out.
While it is a bit out-of-the-way, it is well worth the short trip to get to this outstanding Thai restaurant. The food was fresh and very tasty while not being too spicy. The staff was very pleasant and the service was prompt. The Pad Thai and Pad See Ew were especially good!
Wow! Quite the little Thai surprise in south Hampton Had a hankering for some good Thai food and this place had it all. Really good food
So expensive, so slow.
Lovely staff but we will never go back
Food is good, same level as in the city but prepare to pay double price. Service is great.
Food was good. Seemed under staffed by half, but actually wasn't. They just didn't do anything for anybody. No water, no drinks, no attention, period. Small plates came quickly, entrees took an additional hour. Tables were talking across the room to each other about the horrible service.
I forgot why I don't go to this restaurant. I haven't tried in a few. years The restaurant was completely empty, although it was a Tuesday night, but in August when it's so difficult to get a reservation anywhere The food was not very good. The Pad Thai was so sweet and void of any vegetables. We had no drinks and the bill was still so high. So expensive and not very good food
Thai, Chinese and some Japanese-style appetizers, salads, entrees and desserts. Features chicken, beef, shellfish and vegan dishes. Large bar area, small indoor dining area, outdoor dining area. Average bill about $50 pp for 2 courses, drink, tip, taxes.
Disappointed in the food, server's were friendly , a little disorganized in bringing out food and forgot to serve one desert, till we asked for it.
Calamari was so chewy, glass of wine was the smallest glass I ever seen in a restaurant. The chicken fingers and fries for child was very good. The steak was good.
A horrible oder came out from or near the kitchen close to the end of our dinner, never found out what the order was, like septic sewer problem.
Sorry but won't go back .
Food was good, not great, and was overpriced for what you get -- approximately $30 for a thai curry, for example.
This was the worst food we ever had. Our food came to the table quickly yet it was cold. We ordered Pad Thai and a simple chicken and vegetable dish. Both were almost inedible. Definitely the worst Pad Thai I ever had. The sauce was red and tangy. If I had to describe it in one word it would be "muck." Waitress was not friendly either. I honestly do not know how they are in business. We paid $28 for the Pad Thai and $24 for chicken and vegetables- that was a CRIME!
Unfortunately, a very mediocre restaurant with prices that are high. Will not return.
I had to return my main course- it was inedible and the pad-Thai was like a flavorless mush that my dinner guest ate 20% of and could not stomach anymore....
They replaced my entre with something new which was tolerable, but at the prices charged for sub par food - it was extremely disappointing at best.
Looks and feels like an average Thai restaurant, except that a Pad Thai dish costs $30. No thanks.
Lychee Mai Tai was wonderful. A hidden gem in the Hamptons.
Food was awesome...very authentic.
tasty food and very friendly service. nice to get a reservation that was honored on a saturday night
Had a great meal with the family. Will definitely be back
We eat out a lot and this was one of best Thai restaurants we have been to in very long time. We live in NYC and wish we had Thai food this good in the city. The satay incredible and wok dishes superb.
The Spring Rolls were excellent. I had Shrimp pad Thai which was very flavorful. Our drinks were good too.
While the food at BOA Thai Asian Fusion is quite good, it in itself cannnot compensate for terrible service. Hostess may no effort to recognize our reservation and not honor our special request on seating. First wine ordered was not available, server broght wrong second wine, then disappeared for 15 minites before bringing correct wine. Of the two starter ordered one was never delivered and other wqas the wrong appeitizer. Mains were quite good. Prices are quite high and service and ambiance do not justify the prices. Disappointed.
We wanted to try something different so we gave Boa a try. We had Roti as an appetizer that was excellent. Roasted Duck Curry and Pad Thai Kai as entrees. Both were very good, service was quite nice.
Will definitely be back!
Food is very good but compared to great Thai food in NYC and Woodside and Bayside, this is way overpriced. Memorable experience but I doubt we'll be back given outrageous prices...
Great Thai food in south Hampton. Can't beat their $10 lunch menu .
We feel so lucky to have rediscovered this great find. Everything we ordered was worth coming back for. How nice to have somewhere you can go with a large or small group, last minute, hear each other talk and very good Thai food. Run by a fabulous family.
We've driven past this restaurant several times and finally decided to give it a try after reading the reviews. Glad we did. The food was delicious, especially the baby back rib appetizer special. I am not usually a fan of ribs but the meat literally fell off the bones and the sauce was really good. The waitress told us that is was her grandmother's recipe as the place is a family owned business. We'll definitely be back.
