We opened The 3rd BluWater Bistro location in the Leschi neighborhood on March 13, 2004. Mick McHugh handed the reigns over to us after 22 successful years of running the Leschi Lake Café. With a slight remodel we cozy'd up the place, added some fantastic rollback windows, high back booths, some flat screen TV's, and leather furniture by the fireplace. The menu reflects all the goodness that a cozy bistro should offer, including the ever famous & popular "Lake Side Café" Fish and Chips... gotta keep the neighborhood happy. Stop in for some brunch on the weekends or some late night food.

We love Blu Water. It is a favorite spot during boating season in particular. The recent Halibite and Halibut pasta specials were great!! The service this time (Labor Day weekend) was great - at times slow, our server made up for it with a kind and energetic personality. The food has been consistently good quality and good value. The team there is clearly working to provide a rotating set of specials to keep things fresh. Keep up the good work!

Food and service fine. We made a reservation days in advance, asking for a window table, @6:30 on a Wednesday night, and they stuck us in the MOST unscenic table possible! It was a kind of special,occasion and we should have complained and waited for a window, but we did not. Also, the tables ‘way too high for the booth seats, and we all (except my 6’2” son) wanted a booster cushion. What’s with the proportions of the furniture? It’s a friendly spot and just wish the seats were higher so we did not have our chins on the table to eat.

We’ve been dining here since it was the Leschi Cafe back in the 80’s. Just doesn’t feel the same any more. 😢

LOVE the idea of inflation buster meals. Cant always afford a $80 meal so its great to get that treat! The ambiance is nice and staff is always nice. Thanks!

We sat outside. I'd always recommend it here just because it's beautiful. The server was wonderful. They brought me the wrong dish, but I wasn't bothered by what they brought me. The server convinced me that it was absolutely no trouble and that I was their guest. They quickly brought out the correct order. It was the right thing to do and. I was glad they made me feel valued. Their food was wonderful. I had the halibut tacos.

Poorest service I've had there ever. Was seated at 3:15. Had planed on a leasurely late lunch. Reserved a ride to pick us up around 5.Waitress came by 20 minutes after we were seated making excuses and taking our drink order.Said be right back with water and bread plate. Those never showed up. Half hour later came to take our food order. Still no drinks. Finally took the food order after being there 45 minutes.Drinks came after an hour. How tough could it be....a draft and a glass of wine? By the time the waitress came to say our order was almost ready it was 4:40.So I told her to just make it to go.And they even messed that up. The prime rib aujus sandwich was missing the aujus. It's right in the title!!! How could you miss it? And the ride being right on time,showed up before the food . Lucky the driver had an extra 15 minutes to kill.

Service and environment was great! Best location to enjoy food, drinks, and watch the Blue Angels perform. Food was mediocre. Ordered the ceviche, burger, and wings. Ceviche was bland and wings were undercooked. We sent them back. Would go again for drinks and views but probably not food.
