Mother's day brunch .. we had the fun of waiting 1 hour for cold food.
Enjoyed a wonderful Mother’s Day Brunch. Beautiful location. Creative menu with really good food. Excellent service. Parking available.
Only wish we were by a heater. But for a busy holiday, coming on the tail end of a pandamic, and the volume they were doing; I was inpressed.
It was for my friends birthday and we were treated nicely although the waiter didn't ask one of my friends if she wanted another drink and I had to tell him. I thought it was weird that he asked me and my other friend, but not her.

this place was nothing special. Our server was great, she was very attentive. the food was decent, the view was nice. We were a little misled by the photos online (food looked better in photos than it actually was in person). We had made a reservation and added that it was our anniversary, nobody mentioned it, which is not a big deal. We weren’t super impressed.
The Ceviche was horrible. It was thrown together with poor ingredients. It was made of tiny canned shrimp and some old tasting precooked crab meat on top of lettuce (why lettuce?). No lime juice on the food which is what cooks the raw ingredients in real Ceviche. Sure there was a slice of lemon and a slice of lime but that does not come close to making up for the imitation effort. Maybe they were having a bad day?
The hamburger was pretty good and cooked as requested.
Fish in fish and chips was overcooked. The coating was very dark brown. The pieces of fish were somewhat small in size.
Met a couple of friends for Happy Hour. We shared small plates. Salmon tacos, ceviche and a caprese salad. Delicious!!

I had the small taco salad and it was excellent and a good size. And the servers were extremely friendly, and on top of everything. And the setting outside was lovely. Will return!
Dinner was great, hubby's steak was better than what we've had at a few different places! I had their rockfish which was so so, daughter had their fish and chips which was on par! What was frustrating was our waitress spent more time servicing a group of men next to us, because they kept asking for more drinks, I'm sure her mindset was that they were going to tip well. Despite that, she didn't know how we would tip, normally we are generous tippers, but due to her barely acknowledging us, we left a basic tip.
We had salmon at an outdoor table facing Lake Washington. Tasty and lovely. There are tables looking over the parking lot, but we requested a different table. Be cautious about the curb near the tables and the fencing that is not stable to hold onto. (I'm disabled.)
The location is by far the best thing about this place. For the price, I am giving it a one star. The server was pleasant but tended to leave us for long periods and never checked on our food. She did a great job of splitting the check. She was not the biggest issue by any means. The food is beyond disappointing. The Thai chicken wings are good, but you only get 5 for $11. Drink prices are insane. I had an Amstel light and the Sangria. My wife had two Cadillac Margaritas, and the total price was $58. The Sangria was blah, but the margaritas were excellent. The food was the biggest disappointment. I had the prime rib, it may have been 6 ounces at the most, they cut it so thin and in half. It was about 1/3 fat. There was absolutely no seasoning on it. The Au Jus was lukewarm and they forgot to add the Horseradish (waitress did not come back to check so just ate it). The garlic mashed potatoes were glue like and had no garlic taste, cost was $33. My friend ordered ribeye, it was OK, decent flavor, but again, they must cut it in half (thin). My wife's burger was good, not great, the fries were really good. Lastly my other friend had the rockfish, it was decent, but again not great. For the cost, you expect better quality. For dessert we had the cookie and the blackberry cobbler. The cookie was so-so, the cobbler was weird. It tasted overwhelmingly of cloves and cinnamon. My friends and I will not be going back.
I probably would have been ok if I had ordered a burger. Got a steak and ended up disappointed. NY steak with 5 green beans and 5 halves of fingerling potatoes didn't do it for me. Food arrived quickly but unfortunately, my pinot didn't.
This place is in an ideal location. It is huge and in serious need of a facelift. I hope that the owners invest in that as this could become a regular place for us. They have an awesome opportunity for a fantastic outdoor dining experience but it is underdeveloped and run down. The chairs we sat on were mildly disgusting - stained worn fabric, wobbly table with ancient piece of vinyl covering. Anyway...husband ordered the chowder and fish & chips - both good and plentiful. I got the rockfish - not good. The filet was breaded and fried (expected and wanted) but the breading was thick and gummy (and not hot, exacerbating the ick factor). The lemon butter sauce non-existent and lacking in flavor. We'll go back and hope for better next time!

Our experience at BluWater Bistro was outstanding in every way! We have already recommended it to several of our friends and will definitely be returning ourselves.
We were seated with a view of the kitchen, wait staff expediting tickets, in a corner. Probably the worst table possible. We had made reservations. For some reason our server changed mid meal with no explanation. Probably the end of a shift? It was very noisy. The prime rib dip sandwich was good and fairly priced and balanced the disappointing ambiance and service. I felt that they weren’t very interested in my business.
Tasteless food and terrible service. They tried to give someone else’s food to us. 45 min later we got cold food.
Terrible service! Waitress over charged on 2 occasions. Delays in bringing us the check. Poor food quality! Sad !!!
Very good Easter brunch! However, our waiter just had a little condescending attitude and lack of attention. This waiter has only been working there for less than 2-3 months. We’ve been coming here for the last 3 years and love the food and restaurant.
We have a reservation, but still waited for at least 45 minutes. I think we are not going to do any holidays there like Easter, but still go just for a regular day.
We went for Easter brunch and you could tell it was busier than they expected. They handled everything very well. The service was fantastic as well as the food. It was our first time there and I will definitely go back as well as recommend it it friends.

The table I was seated was not leveled. I ordered the French toast & was worried the syrup would spill off the plate onto the table & my clothes. I ended up using a napkin putting the plate on top to catch any syrup that might spill off the plate. Other than that, everything was ok.
Restaurant is on the water. Beautiful views of the water and mountains, however, they’ve expanded their outdoor seating to their parking lot. We saw cars. That was the view. It was freezing cold. We asked to have a heater turned on and it was, for about an hour. The kitchen was incredibly backed up. The clams we ordered were terrible. Barely open, stuck to the inside, little erasers. There was also about a dollar’s worth of clams in the bowl. We all ordered different things. One ordered a burger and asked for it to be cooked to medium/medium rare. It came well done. The ceviche was flavorless. The “house made” chips were cold and nearly stale. The tortillas on the tacos were cold by the time our food was served. The fries and fish and chips were fine. Nothing that couldn’t be purchased at a fast food restaurant or diner. The wait staff was over booked and not at all attentive. We asked to move inside because it was so cold and were told we would have to talk to the host. The host gave us blankets. One of our orders was wrong and when we told the wait staff they said, “I guess I’ll take it back then?” When one of our drinks didn’t come and we asked about it, the wait staff said, “sorry, I didn’t understand you”. The prices were ABSURD. The bill was twice what I thought it was going to be. Awful. We don’t plan to return.
Overserving was a problem. Intoxicated guests ruined the night.
Great food. Great view. The shrimp appetizer was plate licking good. And the bread pudding was oh so tasty and excellent!

Basically a waterside bar with decently-done classic comfort food dishes. Pleasant and attentive servers. Nice experience overall.
