Very pleasant and nice atmosphere plus good food and service.
Food was good but not amazing.
Although the rice that came with my food was hard, the service, food and dessert was very good.
Bluestone is always consistent.
Good food and good service.
Bluestone neaver fails. Good food and great selection. Scott was a very good waiter that made for a very pleasant evening.
Wonderful as usual. Drove here from Penna. Come to Md. at least once a month love the outdoor seating in the summer we are never disappointed.
Food and service are always good at this restaurant. The one drawback - apparently they booked a large group this past Saturday evening, which caused a considerable backup. We were seated 2o minutes after our reservation time.
Made reservation through open table on thursday for a 6:45 pm Saturday party of 4. Checked in at 6:15 and hostess said come back at 6:45 and they'll seat us. No problem. Headed to bar for a drink to wait. Bartender and cocktails awesome. White martini delicious. Went back to hostess at 6:43 and she said there was one person ahead of us, that they'd get us when table was ready. 7 pm my husband went to hostess and she said 2 people ahead of us. At 7:15 I let the hostess have it and demanded to be seated after seeingv3 parties seated while we were waiting. Sat at table and one waiter took drink order, then another waiter came to take drink order. Food was salty as all get out and expensive. I have enjoyed coming here in past, but I will not come to eat again, nor would I recommend it. The hostess was enough to leave a bad aftertaste. 😬
Our 3rd annual visit; always excellent. Unfortunately, all of the entrees were either meat or seafood-based so there was very little on of our vegan relatives could eat and they ended up not coming with us.
Awesome food, service and ambience.
A group of us eat at Bluestone frequently for lunch because the menu has good variety, prices are reasonable and the service is always professional and accommodating.
We had reserved a table on the enclosed porch for about a dozen guests to celebrate a dear friend's 99th(!) birthday. Nameer was the primary server, with assistance from Zach; both were extremely professional, accessible and didn't push the timing of our long celebration at all. The pacing was perfect and their help both friendly and effective. Since we had guests ranging in age by 75 years, the fact that everyone found appealing food choices and enjoyed their delicious meals is that much more remarkable. By the time we departed, the porch area was crowded with many others who were obviously enjoying their visit as much as we did. Thanks for a great experience, Nameer, Zach and the rest of the Bluestone team!
Loud, but excellent food and friendly staff. Wait with a reservation what not too long, but we did have to remind the hosting staff that we were there.
Great food and reasonable prices. Great service.
Wonderful meal! Enjoyed all aspects of the experience. Issac & Courtney took great care of us. Will go again soon.
Went there with 3 friends. Our waiter was excellent; very knowledgeable and accommodating. He was attentive, but didn't hover. The fried tomatoes were a little bland, but had lots of crab meat. Tuna ahi appetizer was very good. I had the seafood stew and it was plentiful and delicious, I would go back just for that. I am allergic to mussels and was happy to find it was made to order, so I could get it without. Was thrilled to see Taharka ice cream on the menu, but we shared a graham cracker flavor and the ice cream was delicious but there were two huge chunks of graham cracker that took up half the dish. I would definitely go back for lunch or dinner.
Always visit when in Baltimore. The very very best calamari I’ve ever eaten, served with a Thai dipping sauce. Never chewy, lightly battered-yummy. Maryland crab soup outstanding, lump crab meat, veggies and the right amount of zing!! Firecracker salmon for lunch with Brussels sprouts and rice, delicious, well cooked and presented. Crab cake sandwich full of Maryland lump crab, great seasoning. Great venue, warm welcome and attentive knowledgeable wait staff. Highly recommend.
This was our first time at Bluestone and we were very impressed. We did the 3 course dinner and all of the food was full of flavor. We would definitely come back to try more from the menu.
The food was good our server was not that attentive , never checked on how our food was or if we needed more drinks. Other than that it was excellent.
I LOVE Bluestone! It has a great atmosphere, the food is great with a variety of offerings, and it’s reasonably priced! It’s my go to place for a night out t eat or a special occasion!
Awesome food and fabulous service!
We had a great time. The food was good as was the service. However we were uncomfortable with blaring bright lights on the patio. With the bright lights and no table cloth’s , it felt like a cafeteria. To bad because I have eaten dinner out there in the past, and it was low lighting, and table cloths, which made it look beautiful, and made it a much more enjoyable dining experience.
Great private dining area for a group of 7 for a business dinner. Professional service and very good food.
Great As always!! So consistent. They first brought me the wrong fish and immediately pulled it back and produced the other in a few minutes without a fuss and offers for free desert (which we don't eat) but were very apologetic.
My friends and I meet every few months and we always come here. The food is good and the service is wonderful.
Bluestone never fails! The food and service are consistently excellent. The crab cakes are to die for and so is the Bluestone salad. We love half price wine night!
Happy hour prices on appetizers were available in the restaurant. Our group tried a few. The caprese flatbread was very tasty, and a nice size. The burratta marinara was also very good. The rest of the group enjoyed the calamari. Our group ordered a variety of entrees, all of which were excellent and cooked perfectly. The fresh baked bread and butter is irresistible. Our waitress was friendly and eagerly offered her opinion on menu sections when asked.
Overall very good with excellent food. Service was slow at times. After waiting some time we had to ask about where our desert was. Also ordered 12 oysters, but they initially brought 6 and we had to advise the server that we ordered 12.
Good food, great service but not necessarily disability friendly- we were seated upstairs in a loft room- although we were asked if it was ok, it could be a problem for some patron.
One of our favorites because we can always count on a good meal with friendly service. Very consistent..
Great food especially the Bluestone Salad - Bacon lovers dream
Seated promptly, made our reservation through Open Table app. Nice wine selection. I had crab cakes, my Husband had scallops. Both dishes nicely prepared and delicious. We def will be returning our next trip to Baltimore. Our Waitress was very attentive & pleasant.
Service was excellent. The food was very good. I would highly recommend it.
Very good. The Bluestone neaver let's you down. They are always on their game!
Delicious food and great service . Try it you'll be happy you did.
Bluestone is one of my go-to places for entertaining clients - good selection of food, nice atmosphere, convenient.
Birthday dinner. Our table was out on the patio. Food and service were excellent, and they helped make the occasion special. Only suggestion would be to dim the lights on the patio- the lower lighting inside creates a much cozier and warmer ambiance.
We wanted a quiet table. We were seated in a booth in one of their smaller rooms. Unfortunately, it was in a corner and very chilly. There was even a space heater next to our booth. But unplugged, so they know the temperature there was not optimal. We asked to be moved and they were very accommodating. I would not want to be seated at that table again, knowing what I know now.
that being said, the food, service and ambiance were fine. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Sadly, all things, including restaurants, decline and fade away. That is what seems to be happening at Bluestone. Once a great "go-to" place, it now seems to be living on its momentum. The servers are still well-trained and helpful, but the food preparation has become lazy and tasteless. Not only are the entre'es unmarinated, unseasoned and bland, but they are not even properly described in the menu. They try to compensate by adding pepper and a sauce. At their rate of decline, I expect that they will last made one more year. We certainly will not be going back.
Other than not hearing them call our name for the table everything was good. Cream of crab was tasty but not very hot. Filet and crab cake was outstanding though!
