food was good, server was very nice and cordial. It seemed that getting our food took a long time and we were one of the first tables there for the day.
Beet salad had disappointing amount of beets and i felt misled by the title of the salad. It should have been called a salad with beets.

Although we go to Bluestone on a regular basis, this visit was during Restaurant Week. Bluestone not only had the usual prix fixe but also was most accommodating in allowing choices to be other that what most restaurants do during this time.

Everything was excellent. The soup special, the Crisfield Stew and the Cobb Salad were especially noteworthy. Our waiter, Roy, was very helpful and attentive. All six of us agreed that we would make a return visit soon.

Bluestone was a hidden gem. It seemed to be very popular but this was my first time dining here. The customer service was above average and the food was tasty. The pineapple Martini had a nice kick to it without tasting like straight vodka. The service was attentive but not over bearing. I would definitely visit again.

I have been several times & each time I’ve had great food & service.
The first time I went was on a recommendation of a friend who said the fried green tomatoes with crab was the best!
I have it each time I return! I could make a meal of it!

I liked this place. I live in Harford County, so I don't often drive all the way to Timonium for things, but this was a work dinner. It was restaurant week; my meal was good. Service was friendly. No complaints.

On the spur of the moment we decided to go to Bluestone for a Restaurant Week 2-course lunch for $15.00. We were seated on the porch as requested. Our server, Kelly, was a delight. We were very impressed with the many choices offered for appetizers and entrees for lunch. We started with a cup of Cream of Crab soup and the Bluestone salad – the soup was rich in flavor and the salad crisp and fresh. My husband enjoyed the Certified Big Black Angus Burger, which was a generous half pound of Kansas beef on grilled brioche with Cheddar cheese. I truly savored the Gulf Shrimp Tacos. There were 3 flour tortillas – each had 3 fried shrimp topped with tri-colored pepper salsa and, on the side, there was a cilantro purée, mango mole, and feta cheese that you could add as you wished. Each dish came with French fries. We were so pleased with our lunches. Thank you Bluestone for participating in Restaurant Week.

Went for restaurant week. Have been several times and the food never disappoints. Great options and the seafood always tastes fresh. The only negative was the waiter got a drink wrong, but it was rectified in short order.

We already love Bluestone so we knew we were in for a great experience. It was the first time for our friends and they loved it just as much as we do. The Restaurant week menu is a great deal every time we go. The food was spectacular. I had the Rockfish, cream of crab and Bluestone salad and the rest of the group had surf and turf and thought the crabcakes were phenomenal.

I have visited Bluestone Restaurant twice--lunch with high school classmates and lunch with first cousins. Servers let us enjoy each others' company without pressuring us to leave. Maryland food was good; prices, moderate.

We went last night for restaurant week and the service was fair and likewise the food as well. The cream of crab was good, the shrimp on the gulf and ocean platter were over cooked as they were a bit rubbery. Likewise dessert was ok, but could have been better. The blondie sundae which was supposed to be a warm brownie base tasted like they took a premade blondie and nuked it for 10 seconds. The wife also said her  crème brulee was not fresh tasting, pre-done and not very warm. This was disheartening since normally the food is good and the whole purpose of restaurant week is to encourage new patrons to return, which I won't do again during restaurant week. As for service, our wait staff was not very attentive at all. They were slow on taking the orders as they spent excessive time on getting bags for a table that was leaving who ended up just talking another 25 minutes at their table. When plates were dirty and done with, they took a long time to clear the dishes. They never checked to see how the dinner was going at all.
