Our group enjoyed our entire meal immensely and the service was excellent. I was hosting two other couples: my brother and his wife and one other couple. My brother, in particular, LOVES your Crisfield Stew. Please do not take that off the menu! :-) I especially enjoy your seafood no matter what it is! Saturday night I ordered the scallops. My sister-in-law, a gourmet cook, tends to be particular and she raved about everything. I really like the lemon sorbet and hope that is a keeper on the menu! It's nice to have a dessert choice that is not real heavy. Bluestone is the best restaurant in the Lutherville/Timonium/Cockeysville area! Needless to say, we will be back!
I enjoyed everything about my experience at Bluestone - the food, the service, and ambiance.
I have visited before, however felt the prices were exaggerated for Valentines Day.
First and definitely not last experience here. The food was incredible, the wine suggestion was spot on to my taste and even on busy Valentine’s day service was effective and quick. I loved it. I had the Steak and Cake. I rarely eat red meat but this was the best steak i have ever had.
Great place to come on Valentine’s Day. I got the chilled shrimp and crab and cream of crab soup and my babe got Maryland crab soup and crab cakes. It was delicious.
Great atmosphere, service and food with ample parking.
The service was excellent, the rockfish was delicious.
Small portions big price tag. Waiter only came by occasionally, didn’t ask how the food was.
Everything was great
Bluestone is one of our go-to restaurants. Interesting menu choices, all well-prepared. Friendly, knowledgeable wait staff, a range of dining areas each subtly different, a large free parking lot. Perhaps a little more expensive than many other good choices, but a good value all things considered. A delightful place that would normally get 5 stars from me. Our most recent visit was for lunch on Valentine's Day, they were very busy, and understandably some of their service hit speed bumps. But go their - you'll like it.
Our server Tyler was awesome! The food was delicious as always!
Almost always happy at Bluestone. Table position was a little uncomfortably close to the other guests. Overall, very happy however.
Varied menu, good food, attentive service, comfortable setting.
Food and service were excellent but the noise level made. Conversation IMPOSSIBLE!!!
Kathleen and I have dined at Bluestone on many occasions. We concur that we have never had a bad meal or bad service on any of those trips. There aren't many restaurants around that can earn that distinction, in our opinion.
Service was great. Food was just ok. Cream of crab soup, shrimp and grits, and fried green tomatoes were good. Filet and asparagus were under seasoned. Mini crab cakes were too eggy. The cookie sundae and creme brulee were just ok. The mashed potatoes were the only thing that was really amazing.
Yes, we might return there with friends for the Sunday night 3 course special or the brunch.
3 course fixed price is a real value for upscale food!! great cocktails also!
They had a great restaurant week menu. The food was outstanding and the service was great. Blue Stone is our favorite restaurant.
We had an excellent meal for MD Restaurant Week. The Crisfield drew was outstanding, and the bread for the table was superb!
You always get a good meal at Bluestone starting with a generous cocktail and ending with a delicious dessert.
Great meal — as usual. Service was outstanding. We always have a great experience at the Bluestone.
Made a reservation with a note of birthday and it wasn’t noticed. Dressing spilled from side cup all over salad and salmon seemed watery. It was fine. For the price, should have been a better meal.
Food excellent Service excellent Ambiance excellent Will definitely return!
The food was great and our waiter Ami, she was great.
Excellent food, very noisy and hard to hear my two friends.
We really liked out server. He was a really nice guy. It was soooo crowded and horribly loud.
First time being here, LOVED IT.
We will be back soon
I love restaurant week! It gives people a chance to try new places. This was mother’s and my first time at BlueStone. Everything was wonderful! The food was flavorful and the service was impeccable. We both said that we’d come back.
Everything was great but the only hint that bothered me is that it took forever for someone to come over to us to get our drinks !
I also wanted a Diet Coke and he never got it for me ! I feel like if o am paying good money you should not forget my drink !
This was our first visit at Bluestone and it definitely WILL NOT be the last. Absolutely loved it! The food was great and the service was exceptional. We thoroughly enjoyed it!!
Bluestone is always a pleasure and we always enjoy dining there.
We had a party of 7 which included 2 children. All of the group enjoyed the food especially the Chesapeake stew.
Big let down. Many tables had bread, when I asked for bread I was told it was baking. However I saw another table get served bread. My dinner came out before the bread, so we were just starving while waiting for food. They should have offered us a free appetizer while we waited 30 minutes! The server was not the nicest. The atmosphere was ridiculous. The inside seamed nice,
However we were placed on their faux covered patio... it was like eating inside a subway sandwich shop. The food was tasty; great French fries! Yet the price for 2 adults and 2 kids was $84. Totally not worth the expierence!
The food was excellent, as usual. The service outstanding. We were placed in the new room off to the right, our first time in that room. We were seated by the mock door. We understand that door was an exit at one time, but I must tell you that on a cold day it is very drafty and cold. You are losing a lot of heat. Your thermostat read 68 when we arrived and read 64 when we left!
way too noisy - thurs 6p reservation left half way thru dinner; took the rest home; great food, but would not return.
First time being here, celebrating my husbands birthday. We really enjoyed the whole experience. Food was excellent and prices very reasonable. Looking forward to going back.
It was restaurant week so the girls got together and went to Bluestone. It was very good and quiet and the food was excellent. The waitress was exceptional. I had the crab soup half-and-half i.e. half cream of crab and half Maryland crab. Lots of crab and a hint of spice. My friend had the zesty salmon and it was a huge piece of salmon. My other friend had a shrimp and crab salad which looked very pretty and she enjoyed it. The other guest had a Reuben and it looked quite good though she did not comment.I do wish they did not serve their coffee in an Irish coffee mug the glass mug does not hold the heat and the coffee is always very weak.
Excellent fish selections and preparation.
Large parties drank a great deal and conversation was impossible.
It was unpleasant being there because of the screaming and cackling laughter.
Appeared to be short staffed. Took 10 min until someone spoke to us. Had to ask for bread. Empty plates weren't removed in a timely manner. This was our first experience without excellent service
