Bluestone Steakhouse & Seafood
Bluestone Steakhouse & Seafood features live music 7 nights a week.
The food and service were excellent. Our waiter was the best. The music provided in the background was very good and he was very considerate by changing the direction of the speakers to help with hearing. The only problem is that it is too dark. You can barely see your food and for anyone with vision problems, it is dangerous.
We met my MIL’s new husband! We were nervous. My parents in law had been married over 50 years. My husband and I got there early to have a drink first. Vickie was amazing. Her sister and brother in law own the restaurant. Vicki was around our age and teLly worked to make the night special even when we moved four tab to the floor. Family owned place really took care of a family night.
My brother was visiting from out of town so we took him and his girlfriend to your restaurant which came highly recommended to us. We made reservations for 7:30 and were seated at about 7:25 and we sat at table 61 in the back by the restroom hallway.
We ordered drinks and it took at least 20 minutes to receive our drinks. The server Joshua, kept saying the bartender was busy while I'm sure it was him that ended up making my cucumber martini and husbands' old fashioned. My brother ordered a beer and they brought the wrong one out. We then ordered oysters, which again took at least 15 minutes. Joshua brought out 2 extra oysters as a measure of good faith. Then we ordered our dinner which took another at least 30 minutes. All the while we were waiting, we could see the waiter keep looking at our table thinking why haven't they got their food yet. He blamed the kitchen and said they were busy.
The food was excellent however the service was poor. We consider ourselves great tippers for service but felt that for a tab of over $100 per couple that the service did not reflect your establishment. Maybe a bit more communication would have been acceptable or at least a dessert on the house. We hardly ever complain also, which is also why it took me a few days to write.
I just wanted our experience to be heard and hope that when we return that the service will be better.
I had not been to this restaurant in about 2-3 years because the service was so bad. One time we had to walk out after 30 minutes and no one took our order. This time we were at the restaurant 2 hours to eat supper. The wait between courses was 20 to 30 minutes. My pasta was over cooked. My partner ordered crab cakes. They were cold, loaded with cumin & bread crumbs. Could bot taste any crab at all. On the positive side the waiter was very courteous. I'll go back when they change management and try it again. Way over priced for a second rate restaurant, at best.
We sat near the bar. There were people sitting there that were louder than normal so it was rather annoying. The steak could have had a little more flavor. Everything else was delicious- especially the key lime brûlée’s.
Really enjoyed the music (when we could hear above the noisy bat people!)
Extremely overpriced for the quality you get. Even the Caesar salad tasted bland. The meat on the nachos my fiancé swore was liver. The texture was terrible as was the taste. I never got a refill on my tea that day empty for most of the meal. Would never recommend and certainly would never consider going back.
All 3 steaks ordered by our table were cooked to perfection, were tender and tasted delicious. The chicken fried chicken was outstanding as well. Sides and salads were extremely good. Creme brûlée was perfect dessert.
We were in town for a marriage convention and it was suggested we make reservations for a date night. After reading reviews and looking around, we opted for Bluestone. We are from Edmond and had never been here before. The prices were very reasonable and included sides. They had Ketogenic meal options as well as the ability to make many options "Keto-Friendly". This was a super bonus for me. We had been to Mahogany last year and this place blew them out of the water. Not only was the steak better, the sides were better, in my opinion, and the service was a lot more personable. We also got a lot more bang for our buck.
I took my husband there for his 60th birthday. Everything was great. They made an awesome Manhattan and a pineapple jalepenos margarita that were fantastic. The meal was cooked perfectly and the live music in the background made it very romantic. It was a little pricey but Will go again for sure.
Everything was great except they didn’t have my reservation when I got there. Just grateful they were able to seat me
Bluestone is our go to place for special occasions or when we want some quiet time. The food is great, portions are generous and dessert is over the top.
Ate here for the first time and will definitely be back! Great food and service!!
Very overpriced. The quality was about equal to a chain steakhouse.
What a great place, we had an time!! I highly recommend this place and will be going back!
Valentines dinner was amazing ❤️ The service was great and we were an hour early and they were so nice and able to seat us with no issues ❤️ One if our FAVORITE places
Great atmosphere for a romantic dinner. Servers were nice but short handed and hurried. Food was delicious. Crab cakes weren’t my favorites. Overall good experience
Excellent food and staff, however although the rest rooms were clean they should be brought up to date to match the five star experience.
Truly one of my favorite places to dine in Tulsa. It is pleasant and relaxing environment with amazing food.
Nice little place. Great food and experience. Would return again for another date in the future.
Wife’s birthday. We love Blue Stone and celebrate most special occasions there. Food and service is outstanding.
I don't think for the money I would refer anyone, personally i think the food was ok at best, I can cook much better and maybe it's because I can season my food the way I like it but I was not impressed at all. That being said the service was wonderful, I can't remember the name of the young man that waited on us but he was great
Everything was perfect, with the exception of service, but they humbly acknowledged their mistake and made up for it.
Awesome place that we save for special occasions. They food is amazing and the service people are always there when you look like you need something and away waiting when you don’t. Never had anything that didn’t taste incredible.
This was a great find! Don't know how I've missed this place on my restaurant radar. Food was fantastic! Perfectly prepared, prompt, and the ideal temperature. Great atmosphere, too! We will definitely be back!
Food was super delicious and the service was outstanding!
We received our food about 35 minutes after ordering. Service was slow.
Took my wife out to diner for her birthday. Great food, service and atmosphere. Also free desert for bday was very appreciated.
We reserved a table in the bar area for New Years Eve. They called me back and asked to move the reservation by 1/2 hour later. I agreed, understanding it it a busy night. We arrived on time for our reservation and waited at the door for 10 minutes or more. The hostess clearly did not know what she was doing. She tells us that she had to give our table away since she got backed up and we were welcome to wait for a table to come open or sit at the bar, we declined and left. What good are reservations? Not worth anything here.
Our first visit. Not sure if we liked some of the sauce or steak seasoning/oils. Almost got seated at the kitchen doors. Would not have liked that at all. Reservations were behind. Slow bartender. Will be back.
This is one of our favorite fine dining places to go in Tulsa. We went on New Years Eve, enjoyed live music, perfect for dinner, great meal and good service. Their Steak Delmonico was excellent.
An excellent steakhouse in something of an out of the way shopping area. Very good service. Reading glasses at each table, a nice touch!
Excellent ribeyes and Chilean sea bass. Service was good. Live music always a plus. Will be back soon.
Took my boyfriend here for his birthday and had a great time! I included a note on the online reservation that it was his birthday and the manager came over to wish him happy birthday without prompt. The server also made special consideration for his birthday. The night was very special.
Awesome food as always ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Anniversary and birthday
Ambience: Great on the inside. Small and intimate. Low light. The music was nice. Bathrooms need a serious upgrade.
Food: We had oysters as an opener. Very nice. The table ordered steaks, snapper, scallops for dinner. Everyone enjoyed their food except for me (scallops). The scallops (only 3) were buried beneath a pound of shredded carrots and squash slivers overdressed in balsamic reduction. The rice patty that the scallops were sitting on was burned on the bottom and inedible. The scallops were very nice on their own. I left hungry, basically. Everyone else said their food was very good.
Service was fine; bartender quite pleasant and drinks were well made.
I would give this place another try sometime. I hope they revisit the scallop entree as it was well, gross.
It was anniversary and date night. Special night and a special place. Would do it again!
Was in there twice last week
Wednesday was great Friday was terrible we ordered the 30 day ribeye with butter both times and Friday they put Worcestershire sauce on it , I don’t like Worcestershire sauce and who puts Worcestershire sauce on a ribeye? The menu clearly states butter.
I spent 175.00 plus 36.00 in tips on two visits, one would think with that kind of pricing that the food could be consistent.
I left hungry and disappointed. We left Wednesday thinking wow we finally found a good steak, and then Friday was completely disappointed and the server (Amy) was nice until we questioned what was different. I still left a good tip, which to be honest I shouldn’t have paid for my meal nor should she have been tipped,
Nice little gem of a steakhouse off the usual path in Tulsa. Try the lotus potatoes and the crab & artichoke dip were very good.
Reading glasses at the table were a nice touch for those who are a little older (like me). Its a bit dark.
We had a lovely, quiet evening out. The food was delicious, and the price was more than reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. Couldn’t have been a more perfect date night.
