With Sushi so common in the bay area now - it is good to have a high end sushi restaurant that shows creative choices, has unusual selections and creative fusion options, and isn't just like every other sushi place.
We always have great food here. When we feel like really good sushi we always go here. It could be a little pricey but I think it’s worth it. The service can be a little slow, but we did come on a Friday night and the restaurant was full. Their cocktails are great and I like how they have others options, whiskey, sake, beers. Whenever we want a treat we would always think of going here.
Did not honor the reservation. We arrived at the reserved time, saw an open table, but it was given to someone without a reservation who had arrived 5 minutes before us. Was asked to wait 30 minutes or sit at the bar. What’s the point of OpenTable again?
Reserved table at 7pm (they require credit card for Valentine’s Day), and was told to wait 20 minutes. After 20 minutes we were asked if we could sit in the bar area. We said yes as we were already behind schedule. So we essentially reserved a table for special occasion and ended up in bar area where Ambiance and service were both down a notch. Food turned out to be bland as well. Just the same as an average sushi place, just double the price.

The blue-fin tuna was melt-in-your-mouth amazing. All the rolls were delicious. Get there before 6pm to save some money on the happy hour specials, they're all good.
Restaurant wasn't busy at all on a Monday night, yet the service was still kind of slow. We had to work hard to place our orders.
All in all, though, a good experience, and amazing food.

We really enjoyed our dinner at BlueFin. The fish was fresh and tasty. They have an amazing happy hour which I highly recommend taking advantage of.
