Thanks for helping me celebrate my birthday once again.
That raw bar Union Tower was wonderful. Now if they could just add a bit more for two. Afterall, for $70...
Lovely overall. The bartender was great and our waitress was nice but we kept needing our bottle of wine and had to wait. Overall a nice time.
Always great. Food was great and so perfectly made and presented.
Never have a complaint here.
Not my first time there. Always an amazing experience. Our server Eric W. was perfect and hilarious.
Blue Water Grill is a beautiful restaurant. We had lunch for 4 which consisted of oysters, golden sunshine rolls, truffle rainbow roll, crisp cauliflower, Seafood Cobb salad, lobster & shrimp roll, and black bass with panzanella salad. Every item was delicious! The service was friendly and upbeat but a little slow as the restaurant filled up. A bit pricey but well worth it!
I've been going to Blue Water Grill for over 22 years. It is my go to restaurant for seafood, brunch celebrations, outdoor oysters, and anytime I want a great meal without pomp and circumstance.
Absolutely one of the worst restaurants I’ve been to. The restaurant is outdated, dirty and is in dire need of a renovation. The food was over priced and gross.-they served us used butter, the glassware was dirty, the carpet on the second floor was dirty and need of a change. We were a party of 8 and everything was gross- bland food, sushi wasn’t fresh. In a nutshell, do not come here!
Went for Father’s Day brunch with our messy ( but very cute)11 month old.. everything was fantastic and more than accommodating.
Terrific service… Delicious food… Delightful atmosphere – this place is hard to beat.
Loved the presentation and food. Will come back.
I had sushi rolls and they were poorly made. They did not stick together. Lunch for 4 people came out to $375, it was overpriced.
Excellent service,very good food
Service was superb as always. I have been coming here for quite a few years and almost always get the lobster salad (no roll). Its size has shrunk over the years but this time it was minuscule which was pretty disappointing.
Loved the food!
It’s a delightful place to eat with great food and great service! And it will not empty ur wallet.
I have never written a review before but feel compelled to warn people about my awful experience at this restaurant. I took my niece there for an early brunch last week: it was not busy; only a few tables were occupied.. The coffee we immediately ordered was room temperature coffee flavored water. When I finally succeeded in getting the waiters attention he said he would replace it with good coffee which didn't arrive for at least twenty minutes at which time he admitted the previous cups had been very weak. We were never offered refills. The brunch menu itself was uninspired, the food (including a dry omelet) was mediocre at best and the service was terrible. Our waiter was nowhere to be seen even when it came time to get the bill. Another server finally got our waiter's attention and the bill he brought was incorrect. Not only was the food and service terrible, but this was an embarrassing and very disappointing experience for me as the host of a young woman who has been living abroad in Asia and who I rarely get to see. I had eaten various meals at the Blue Water Grill over the years and had enjoyed it, but it has taken a serious turn for the worse. I will never return.
The restaurant was recommended by a friend who lives in the city. It was an excellent dining experience. The food was delicious and our server was wonderful! Plus it is a beautiful atmosphere. I will go back. And I've already told several friends about it that will be visiting NYC soon.
The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The menu was creative with so many healthy options. I will be back for more!
Our Rachel was highly professional, informative, and attentive without being intrusive
excellent service - very accommodating and helpful waiter(Ivan). My friend and ordered different dishes and both were absolutely delicious. Great place to dine if you are seeing something at The Vineyard Theatre!
Drinks were great and the food well prepared and presented. As usual service really good.
One of the most consistently reliable dining experiences that there is. I’ve been many times, and will certainly be back.
Special getaway in the Big Apple! Business and pleasure. We always try to visit BWG whenever in town!
Wonderful food and ambiance - highly recommend! Came for a special occasion, totally worth it.
I've always loved Blue Water Grill. The food is excellent, service superb, and the setting exceptional.
The food was very good but the entree portions were very small
Quality, consistency, service, ambiance... everything you want in a dining experience. Great for a long lunch, romantic dinner or group celebration. Depending on my mood I’ll sit outside, at the bar or upstairs - all fabulous. I’ve never been disappointed at BWG and I’ve been going here for 20 years.
Returned for the first time after several years and was very disappointed. The food was ok at best. Ordered the mini lobster rolls, the tuna, halibut and scallops. Probably will not go back:(
Blue Water Grill is my favorite brunch spot when I’m in NYC! The food and service is always top notch!!
‘‘Twas a nice evening with great food. I wish the wine was chilled.
My third time here. Other two experiences were solid. Seating very tight with party next to my table less than a foot away from me (given restaurant not at capacity this was unnecessary). Had to ask other party to stand up and move chairs to escape to restroom. Service fair, server tried with nice demeanor, but very inconsistent in checking on table and clearly new to role without proper training. Main course came out while still had three starters about 3/4 of the way done. Main course not cleared for at least 15 minutes after finished. Overall food was good but for $350+ and so many other great restaurants in NYC I’ll never return here.
We had a great pre graduation celebration dinner. We were not rushed at all and made to feel very comfortable throughout our 4 courses. The drinks were perfect as well!
Good restaurant for seafood. Limited other options so if not everyone in group likes seafood, I would not recommend restaurant. One thing that detracted from our experience was our waiter who “had an attitude”.
We went there for the seafood and were no disappointed. Very nice.
Best waitress ever - Alessandra!!!
Beware. We’ve dined here over 20 years. Had a 6 pm reservation. Entered nearly empty restaurant as a party of 3. Were led to 3 different undesirable tables and were repeatedly told that more desirable empty ones were not available. Food was average. Decor tired. Service disorganized and disinterested. Sadly, this place is now on our no go list.
75th Birthday dinner
Fabulous food great service
Thanks for the comped Cheese cake
I ordered the seafood Cobb salad and was pleasantly surprised by the abundance and variety included in the offering. It was delicious. I would recommend it
