   We have been going to Blue Water Grill since they opened. The food, the staff, the ambiance is excellent. We always had a wonderful meal whenever we went there. We are so so sorry it closed and we will really miss it! It’s a huge loss for the Union Square area.

   I LOVE this place!!! The food was amazing so healthy and well prepared. My friend and I had a great time and I would love to go back. I ordered the Branzino and I think is a MUST.

   Food, very good. Service, pretty good, although felt more than a little pressure to "eat up and get out". Ambiance was totally ruined by table cleaners/dressers lurking around our table waiting for customers to get up and leave so they could finish work and go home. Given the prices, will not go back.

   I live in the area of the Blue Water Grill so I frequent it on occasion. Each time I have done so, I have to admit to being somewhat disappointed. The ambiance is wonderful and the service is great, but the food is only "ok". We ordered 3 appetizers. One, the spicy tuna role simply was not good. It was warm and did not taste fresh. The beet and the lobster/shrimp spring rolls were delicious as was the heirloom beets. I ordered the sea bass which though quite tasty was the size of a 2" cube. ..ie a larger appetizer. I expected more for $44. My guest ordered the NY Strip steak which he said was only "ok". It also was $49 and only "ok". The cocktail we ordered were "tolerable" at best. I give them 5 stars for ambiance and service and 2-3 stars for food quality/value. I doubt that I will revisit.

   Food was good except for the Caesar salad with radicchio. Not a great taste, but the server fixed it. We loved the heirloom beets salad, kale salad, sushi rolls, and dumplings. We will be back!!

   Had great appetizers, the golden sunshine rolls. They have a good selection of wine and creative entrees. Enjoyed the fruits de mer pasta dish which had a nice kick to it. And the roasted scallops crispy pork belly was also delicious.

    Have not been here in about 10 years but went there for my daughter's birthday. We shared the Kale and grilled brussle sprouts salad as well as the Artic Char Tartare. For Entrees l had the Branzino and she had one of the sushi rolls. We said no dessert but they brought her a scoop of sorbet with a candle anyway which was sweet. Will definetly go again

    We’ve been here a few times and like it. The food is really great. However, this time we were seated under a vent with full AC in winter! It was as cold at our table as it was outside. Despite three requests to address the cold nothing was done. It really ruined the whole dining experience.

    Really perfect for our situation Christmas Eve with a three-year-old Balcony seating on the end was just great Noise level low Food great Service very friendly and accommodating Only negative was that it was way too hot so they turned on the air conditioning halfway through the meal So nice that we will be back Thank you

    We had a wonderful time at Blue Water Grill! We were a big group there for a birthday party and we were put on the upper level where they put larger groups. It was a little dark and noisy, but the food, EXCELLENT service, and beautiful decor made up for that. There's a great range of foods and for those in our crowd who had dietary restrictions the restaurant as so accommodating. Would definitely go back.

    We had a wonderful dinner and terrific server, Dani. She anticipated our every need and made sure we were enjoying our dinner. She was also very pleasant and said she truly enjoyed working for such a great restaurant after we complimented her.

    This was not my first time dining at Blue Water Grill, but it was by far the worst experience I have had there. Despite having a reservation, our group of three waited over 30 minutes for our table. We were told to wait at the bar and we were given the impression that our table would be ready shortly. Numerous times I sought out the person handling seating because I saw others being seated ahead of us. Once seated our server was prompt in bringing menus and the wine list. We ordered appetizers, wine and our entrees. The appetizers were quickly brought by someone from the kitchen staff. While we were still eating our appetizers, a different kitchen staff brought our entrees and asked us to make room for them. All during this, the only time we saw our server was when she brought the bottle of wine. She clearly had not been trained in wine pouring etiquette. The appetizers and entrees were excellent but when we brought up to our server about the timing of the courses and lack of coordination between servers and kitchen staff, she apologized but did nothing to fix it. At the end of the meal we again expressed our disappointment in the service and asked if there was anything she could do to ameliorate our dissatisfaction. She replied no, at which point we asked to speak to the manager. The manager was attentive, acknowledged our disappointment and apologized for the poor service. She then comped our appetizers. Needless to say, this experience has shaken my confidence in going to or recommending the Blue Water Grill in the future.

    Food was excellent. Ordered the Largest seafood tower. Not a value but didn't expect one. Very patient staff. My guest was significantly late but "No rush". Enjoyed an excellentPinot Noir during the wait. Would like to see more Kumamoto Oysters on the menu.

    I have been coming to the BWG probably as long as u are in business. Rarely to never disappointed but unfortunately the cappuccino machine was broken & the coffee was horrendous. Only suggestion the bus boys are too eager to take your plate!

    Great food - went for Sunday brunch. Good service. They had a good menu with plenty of choices. I think it doesn't have to be so bright - could tone down the lighting for a better atmosphere.

    Amazing! Amazing food! Amazing service! Amazing ambience! The place was beautfully decorated for the holidays and the desserts were themed to the holidays as well. Our waitress was very attentive and even brought us champagne at the end of our meal to toast our anniversary! All and all a great time! Cant wait to go back!

    Food and service was top notch. Great quality and flavor. The staff knew the menu very well and gave great recommendations. I took my fiance for dinner for his birthday and we had a hard time choosing only a few things from the menu because everything caught our eye! On Saturday nights Metropolis opens downstairs for a Jazz night so after dinner, we went down to the bar/lounge for some drinks. We look forward to coming back for Brunch next time!

    Blue Water Grill is one of my favorite restaurants in the USA as well as Canada. The menu for lunch and dinner is superb. The seafood tower is awesome. We had Salmon as the entree. I look forward to my next trip

    Food was super adequate. If you’re going to have scallops on the menu as a special, then they should be, well, special. Hostess and waitress were very helpful and decor is pretty. But I won’t go back.

    Although we had a great server,the kitchen staff left something to be desired. The food came out raw or cold. I certainly didn't want to eat cold eggs benedict. One member of our party returned their meal and had to wait more than 20 minutes for another, I have been coming to th BWG mfor many years,I will have to think about if I would ever return.

    They weren't able to seat us within 30min of our reservation. This didn't seem to be a concern to them while they gave us vague / condescending updates. "If you don't hear from us in ten minutes, wait another ten." It wasn't till we started making a reservation at another restaurant that they found a table for us, which was too small to fit our five-person party.
