It's a classic, obviously, the food is excellent. Service was okay, not excellent, but decent enough for a restaurant like Bluewater cafe.

Never a bad meal at Blue Water. Great Service and you cant go wrong for a business meal or special occasion.

The food was ok, a bit uninspired, clam chowder had been sitting- was thick and salty, and the clam and crab Louie salad had a spoiled avocado- disappointing attention to details.

Its been several years, but when we dined there, the food was excellent. Our only issue would be that it is so popular, it gets a bit frenetic, and is always way too loud for casual conversation.

Stellar food and service at the sushi bar. Will definitely return to this Vancouver classic.

Every visit to Blue Water is a gastronomic oasis and a rest for the soul. The brigade focusses on ever dish, every side, and all of the elements have their own, curated taste and power. Over the years I have gone there sometimes right off the plane and been rejuvenated by the service, the food, and the TLC that the floor manager ensures flows to everyone.

Really nice :) Great service, delicious food. They know how to make everything taste good. I can't wait to go back again.

second vacation to Vancouver and both times visited Blue Water Café, this time with Irish cousins who were visiting from Belfast, we all loved the food, service and experience, many thanks to all who were involved in making the evening special

The best seafood restaurant I have experienced. Can't wait to go back. They have a very large and efficient staff, well trained and very attentive. I have been there once for a dinner and once for a 50th anniversary celebration and everything was superb both times. I highly recommend it.

Delicious! Our server was outstanding. I just think a couple small plates were a tad overpriced but we were very happy with the experience. They have a great list of wines. I absolutely recommend!

Incredible knowledge of the menu, cheerful service that made this fine dining experience feel low-key. Wonderful spot. Upon making the reservation, it was implied that there were few spots available, and that we'd have to finish up in 1.5 hours - place was virtually empty on arrival. Not sure why that practice is in place, but Blue Water Cafe is a wonderful spot for out-of-towners and special occasions alike.

The food was so delicious; our server explained the oyster selection to us, and along with the La Frenz Chardonnay, they were magnificent. The main courses were equally wonderful, and dessert was the perfect finish. Such a great evening!

It was for my Mothers Birthday, and the experience was excellent.

We were in Vancouver for a Pre-cruise visit and really enjoyed this restaurant. The food was fantastic. We had the fish tacos and they reminded me of many happy times spent in San Felipe, Baja California where I first became acquainted with fish tacos!! The drinks were also very good and the view was great. Would definitely dine here again. The service and the food was wonderful.

Zum Abschluss unserer Kanada Reise haben wir im Blue Water Café gegessen. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet. Das Dessert etwas einfach. Die Lautstärke war sehr hoch. Es war ein Erlebnis!

Considering the price of meals, the food was expected to be better. Service could also have been more thoughtful since we were foreign guests not user to the menu.

Mit Sicherheit eines der besten seafood –Restaurants auf dem nordamerikanischen Kontinent. Sowohl Auswahl als auch Qualität der Speisen sind erste Klasse. Kein Chi-Chi, sondern beste, frischeste Zutaten gekonnt arrangiert und präsentiert.
Die Weinkarte ist ordentlich, bedarf aber der Abrundung nach oben. Dafür ist die Bestückung der Bar von geradezu unglaublicher Vielfalt; die Barkeeper haben alles drauf, was jemals einem Mixbecher entkommen ist.
Der Laden ist wahnsinnig beliebt und deswegen auch entsprechend laut, nein LAUT.
Habe extra meinen Flug um einen Tag verschoben, um einen Abend dort verleben zu können – und es hat sich gelohnt!
