    An expensive buffet, but a great variety and well prepared. The only exception was the beef dish- good flavor but tough. Service was outstanding. A great treat for a special occasion.

    Excellent buffet. Well worth the money. Everything was good. Service was outstanding even for a buffet. Brian was a great server. We were lucky and got a table near the window. Perfect meal. Woudl definitely do it again

    In spite of having reservations, my party was seated by the wait station at the far end of the dining room, in the center of the narrow dining room . The 12:15pm reservation was comparatively early and the dining room was practically empty when we were seated.

    The food was simply amazing, and had a wide variety of choices from prime rib, biscuits and gravy, seafood galore and a room of dessert choices. The service was impeccable, particularly our server, Stan.

    We had a wonderful experience at Blue Ridge on the prime rib buffet night. Food was spectacular as always and our server and assistant were beyond pleasant. Would recommend the lava cake & ice cream or bread pudding (or both!) dessert!

    This was our first time eating at the Blue Ridge for Saturday brunch. There was a large selection of foods including chafing dishes, made to order and carving stations. The goat cheeses, shrimp options and salads were my favorites. The welcome mimosa was a nice touch and our server Keyshia took excellent care of us. The staff did a great job of filling and cleaning up all the buffet areas except the dessert tables. I never saw a staff member attend the self-serve desserts and it was a little messy looking. They do have a bananas foster station that looked fantastic. After brunch we explored the hotel and sat outside for a bit. Overall, a wonderful day!

    We always enjoy our annual trek over to the Blue Ridge dinning room at Grove Park Inn in Asheville. It is a bit pricey and you still have to pay $25 to park in order to eat and the Blue Ridge.

    The service was great. The workers were nice and made sure I had what I needed. There was so much food so if you leave hungry it’s your fault. Clean place but a bit noisy. I would go back.

    The dining room has a nice ambiance. We had different waiters 2 of which were excellent and one that showed no interest (needed to replace forks when they were removed from the table while clearing salad plates). We had to get her attention after some time went by and ask again. In my opinion this is a very pricey buffet, and I realize it’s an Omni, but I did not think the quality of the food was worth the price. You can get a lot better quality meal for the price elsewhere. I’ve had Omni buffet breakfast at other hotels and it was excellent so maybe chalk this up to the Thursday night menu. I might try again for a different meal at a different time so difficult to say whether or not I’d recommend Blue Ridge. My response is based only on this meal.

    It was an enjoyable meal, most of the food was very good with the exception of the roast which was grisly and a couple of other items like the au gratin potatoes and paella which were dry. Service was ok, the waiter we had was not very attentive to us due to the fact that a married couple friend of his came in and he talked to them after they came in and never came back to us. Finally a female server brought our bill to us.

    We told them this was for a special event. The couple had just married. There was no acknowledgment of that. We were seated way at the far far end of the dining room with families and some tables with no table cloths. Food certainly plentiful and varied!!. The view was nice even though not a sunny day. All our server did was pour water, as we didn’t need anything else. It is a lovely location, but probably best to not go during a busy holiday time. PARKING RATES OUTRAGEOUS IF JUST GOING FOR BRUNCH

    There wasn’t slot of different types of food and it was $54 for this buffet per person and food wasn’t hot !

    The whole experience was wonderful!! The food was ridiculously amazing and our server, Johnathan, was two steps ahead of our needs! I would highly recommend you experiencing Blue Ridge at the Grove Park Inn!!

    This was our second visit to the seafood buffet and were hoping for a better meal than last time. A number of foods weren't moist, some had no flavor or were seasoned too much and some had no remarkable taste.

    I have come to the blue ridge for many years. I have to say that the food quality wasn’t the best this past visit. I went to two restaurants while there and was disappointed with the food quality and the lack of staff.

    This is one of our favorite buffet restaurants anywhere! Here are the reasons why. 1) The food and variety is excellent. They always have multiple "action stations" where a server is there to carve the meat or shuck the oysters or prepare the bananas-foster as you watch. On Thanksgiving, they carved Turkey, Ham, and Prime Rib. Each was delicious! The number of deserts was too many to count. And the salads were fresh and quite good. 2) Waitstaff. Unlike many restaurants, the servers here are often long-time employees. They are truly professional, with confidence and quiet attention to your needs. So often, in a buffet-style restaurant, the servers are invisible. That is not the case here. Our server had been there for 8 years. He offered to bring me tasting samples of multiple wines before I selected one. 3) Ambiance. This restaurant is situated at the end of one of the hotel wings with beautiful views of downtown Asheville and the surrounding smokey mountains. The atmosphere is always positive, with happy staff members who seem genuinely eager to serve you. The layout of the tables vs the food allows for the dining area to remain relatively quiet. Finally, even people who generally avoid buffet restaurants seem to enjoy this one. The quality is far superior to your average "all you can eat" restaurant. This is not just a meal, it's a dining experience.
