Just “average”. Food was average, server was very good but when adding in the price it was average
Great vibe and excellent service. Food was amazing!
They haven’t lost a step in the pandemic …. Going just as strong as an all-time NYC favorite!!
Great food and a wonderful place for a birthday dinner! Amazing fondue, fries, and main dishes!
Fantastic. Great food, service and vibe!
Blue Ribbon is a consistently reliable restaurant for a great meal and great service. It's definitely a go-to New York-style place that is dependable and fun. Go and you'll see for yourself.
My home away from home😀
Wife’s birthday. Wanted a cozy bistro or brasserie with basic French cuisine done well and nicely made martinis. Found it here. Service was perfect, attentive, and really helpful with recommendations. Lively but you could have a private conversation. Food was excellent (escargot, steak tartare, endive salad, skate, and catfish). Recommend all of those items, but as the servers walked past with other things (bone marrow, steaks, etc…) everything else look great too.
Price point was as expected and the entire experience was worth writing a review, and definitely worth returning!
bill was padded with extra sodas and an iced tea we did not order or consume. Bill was presented by server on IPad without itemization and tip offerings under my nose. I had to request itemization, but it was too dark inside to read it. No one answered the phone on Saturday it was a continuous loop when I was able to read the receipt at home and wanted to question it.
In all food choices were fine, and bar was great. Mask were not worn inside except by staff, and we were vaccination checked for which I am grateful.
I would like to like this restaurant, but they need to check on their servers for accuracy in billing.
Highly recommend it, it’s a neighborhood gym for every day dining with great food and very happy service
Extent good the service was great we made a mistake and went to the other restaurant next block but both restaurants assist us and led us to the right one we will definitely come again
Great food and wine list.
The place is a bit loud so for first dates it will be a bit noisy.....
Exceptional. As always.
Blue Ribbon never disappoints
Always the best!
I loved my experience at Blue Ribbon. My family has been going there for years. It was my first time and I will be back. Great for a date or casual dinner. It would be a bit loud for a business dinner. Great food and drinks. Excellent.
1st time there. Great neighborhood vibe. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Food was great and plentiful Paella and shrimp Provençal.
Service was very slow and air flow was not very good. It was very hot and stuffy. Food was very good
60th birthday. very pleasant service, even when food was delayed a long time. very tight squeeze for outdoor dining, put our group of 8 into a wooden outdoor structure which def was made for 6 or less. Covid precautions were sort if lost in there...considering how on top of each other we were, and the lack of real open space inside that booth structure. but we put our most vulnerable, immuno compromised friend at the outside edge, and the rest of us were vax'd, so it went ok. rhe food was fabulous, and served well and pleasantly, so i look forward to coming back post-wooden outdoor enclosure booths...thanks
Outstanding. Plateau de fruits de mer could not be better. Get the Watermelon salad before it’s gone.
Got my for 20+ years. Also best late, late rest in NYC (I’m talking 2am)
Great place. The service was impeccable. The food was delicious.
I've been going to Blue Ribbon for more than 15 year's. The Fried Chicken is great and the cocktail list amazing. Nothing better than the Shellfish Tower, I highly recommend it! It's my go to date restaurant. Even if the date is mediocre, the food
will make up for it.
The bone marrow and oxtail marmalade was what we had read about, and really were anxious to try. Two of the three marrow bones had almost no marrow inside, so hardly had the opportunity to enjoy it. We also had the paella, which was flavorful, but with mushy rice. The service started out OK, but ended with almost none. We were planning to order dessert after our meal, but no servers even recognized us for almost 30 minutes. Once we were able to get someone's attention, we decided to get our check and leave. Not a good experience for us.
First experience & will recommend to all our friends. Food, service, and atmosphere were beyond our expectations. Will make it a regular spot when in NYC!!
Friendly barman who entertained us the whole evening. Really enjoyed it. And the food was excellent!
We’ve going to BR for almost 20 years…and the food and service never disappoint!
Delicious food, but not a cozy or quiet ambience as described. Better for an energetic night out than romantic conversation.
This is a pricey but, you are in Soho and food was amazing so it was worth it. Service was on point, great guys!
Wonderful experience at the Brasserie. Ambience was ideal, the crawfish perfect, and the bar amazing. Needless to say, this branch has evolved into one of my go-tos.
The fried oysters are to die for! The escargot was not bad either. Nice crowd. Cozy and friendly.
I woke this morning still thinking about the delicious dinner last night. Top to bottom incredible. The service was great and the atmosphere pure New York.
Exceptional, as always!
Love Blue Ribbon! Great service, fried chicken, drinks and setting. Manager showed great care in ensuring our happiness. Will definitely keep coming back.
Hot summer night in the city— unfortunately the outdoor dining space consists of otherwise romantic booths totally surrounded by plexiglas. REALLY hot- with a tiny fan.
Otherwise we had excellent service. The cocktail menu is great and the fried oyster dish just outstanding with a heavenly light fry and a touch of salty cheese. DIVINE
We had the skate—. Over a bacon potato type hash that did not have a lot of flavor. The fish was a little tough. Not a great dish.
Overall a nice experience again because of the servers and the oysters!!
My go to spot!!!!! Service great food is even better !!!!!
Service was nice, friendly staff and the food was top-notch!
Can't say enough good things about Blue Ribbon Brasserie! Absolutely amazing food, stellar service, and a very unique and fun atmosphere.
Superb service everything was amazing ! They were attentive and love that they have new specials every time we visit !
If you loved the food before , it is still the same . I would
