Whether you are in the mood for a Burger and a Pint of Beer, Rack of Lamb and a bottle of Burgundy, or Oysters on the Half Shell and Champagne, Blue Ribbon Brasserie will welcome you from 5pm until 10pm, Tuesday through Sunday. The menu truly has something for everyone including; soups, salads, burgers, steaks, chops, seafood and raw bar with vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options available.
Our youthful culinary vision first sprang to life downtown in SoHo in 1992, and in the years since has become a New York institution. We are proud that our flagship continues to be a local favorite even as it has blossomed into an international culinary destination, known especially for our late-night dining scene.

We sat outside on Sullivan Street in the recently constructed heated seating area. Always an outstanding experience.
And the food and service were Top Tier.
Not a lot of detail out into the look and feel of this blue ribbon location. Food was well made and the menu had so many great options. I’m pretty sure the mash potatoes were powdered. But the fresh seafood and garnishing’s made up for it. Nice for a local visit or delivery for sure. You can’t go wrong with the food!
I do miss James and the bar staff but sitting outside was delightful; and the food and service were outstanding as usual.

The individually spaced cabanas were comfortable and heated well. The service was amazing, covid safe and everything seemed super clean. The food was just as good as it was inside. Will be back. Made us realize how much we miss the dining experience!
Patrick the waiter is amazing when making drinks and the manager Dan makes you feel right at home and welcomed.. love eating here !!
Best meal ever! My server August was just fabulous and took amazing care of me. Delicious salad to start. The skate fish with mashed potatoes was PHENOMENAL! And the chocolate chip bread pudding was heavenly. They have a great setup for outdoor seating - very warm and comfy. Very reasonable prices for the quality and location. And August and all the staff members were so amazing. Blue Ribbon winner!
dinner and atmosphere were terrific
It was my actual birthday celebration but I’ve been telling the staff for years that’s it’s my birthday every time I come in and they always humor me with a candle in my dessert! But I was so surprised that now they have the chocolate chip bread pudding now which I’ve begged for years now. And I met the best woman ever working there! Such a great experience as always but this time seemed extra special!

It was a treat to enjoy a meal at our favorite restaurant! The outdoor tables were well spaced and service was as friendly and efficient as always. The food was all excellent. Perfect broth for the steamed clams, crisp fried oysters two sauces for the crab cocktail and moist and tasty catfish. And the creme brûlée is heaven. A perfect night!

From the moment we walked in we were greeted by the hosts and the food was amazing it was my birthday but they weren’t sure which one of us it was so the put a candle in each dessert which a found was a nice touch. Would definitely go back if I come back to New York
Went here on a date and really enjoyed the quality of service and incredible food. I actually prefer the mellow and casual ambiance (incredible music played that evening) here compared to the other two NYC locations.

We went for dinner tonight with our two teenage daughters. The food was good but not great. The paella is top-notch but the rest of our dinners were pretty average (ribs, salmon). Very dark and the tables are way too small. Too crowded. too loud. Very good service and wine list. Probably won't go back as there are so many other restaurants to try in New York.

I was very much looking forward to a great experience as, this restaurant was one that I had heard about off and on for many years. I had visited both Blue Ribbon sushi and chicken, so I thought it was time to visit the mother ship so to speak. Immediately, I noticed that the service was non existent. There was a 10-15 minute hold before someone approached the table. Water.
There was another lag before someone else showed to tell us the specials. I dunno. I usually like to start with a cocktail.
It was incredibly dark. Not any ambient light...
After ordering the Plateau, and dipping into pots of straight mayo, I could it wait to escape.

We absolutely LOVED our dining experience on Saturday night. The food was terrific, the ambiance was great, we loved the music, Auden our server was a gem! I am truly looking forward to going back again.
