Consistently high-quality service. You can always count on good service, atmosphere and food.
The food was amazing. Everything was cooked to our liking and super flavorful. Great suggestions from the daily specials.
Returned after many years to find this as good as ever. One of the best places to go late at night.
So many great restaurants in the city, but this is one of my favorites due to their consistency in food & service excellence.
The food was sheer perfection
Great for dinner with friends!!!
I have been wanting to go to Blue Ribbon for a long time, and it did not disappoint. It was lively on a Wednesday night. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food was incredible. The oysters we had were very fresh and flavorful. I asked for horseradish as a garnish, and it appeared to be freshly shaved. The bone marrow with oxtail marmalade is worth a visit in itself. Both of the mains we tried (the hangar steak and the friend chicken) were excellent.
Chicken was a disappointment KFC would be a better choice. It’s no yardbirds!!
The service is some of the best in the city. It’s like a well
orchestrated symphony - and you’re the special guest.
Blue ribbon was a great experience and definitely lived up to the hype. The food was outstanding, the service was great and the restaurant definitely lives up to its expectations.
A true gem! We saw this restaurant featured on Flay List (Bobby Flay) right before a trip to NY. It was exactly what we were looking for - great service, amazing food, and a bustling non pretentious vibe. It was so good this will be a go to for us every time we come
Delicious food. Fun ambiance.
Service was incredible and had a lovely dinner here with my family.
The service was impeccable!
Oysters good but expensive. Skate was outstanding and trout w/ mushrooms was excellent. Service at bar was attentive w/o being overbearing. A great experience!
Everything single thing we ordered, even as simple as steamed clams was absolutely delicious! I also highly recommend the steak tartare and the bone marrow. You will not be disappointed.
Food was great as so was the music , I will definitely return
waiters are fab....
best fried chicken I have ever tasted...
we live almost next to The Ribbon on 72 street...
wish we were as close to Blue Ribbon Brasserie because we would be there all the time...
can't wait to come back again...
It was my 3rd time there and I loved it. We went last year for first time and this past weekend we went 2 night after our night activities. Great dishes and wine list as well. Very friendly and fun staff. Would definitely make it a tradition and part of our future visits to the city .
The best matzah balls ever and hands down the best fried chicken I have ever eaten and Jesus was an excellent server.
Blue Ribbon is a great place to go to those seeking great food, great service, and a fun vibe. It is not the place to go if you want a quiet dinner. They play upbeat music, but not so loud that you can't carry on a conversation with your dining partners. We can't wait to go back!
Love this restaurant...every time! The food, service and ambience is always on point - and, they were responsive to my seating request (which often does not happen) even during peak time. The consistency and quality plus the cool vibe makes this one of the best restaurants downtown. I will return again and again.
This is a very nice place for a casual dinner. The service was first rate and the food very well prepared. A fun place to dine with friends. Not inexpensive bot not terrible for this part of Manhattan.
Waiter couldn’t be nicer!!
Always exceptional. One of the best restaurants in NYC.
we had read about it but never been there and now we can't wait to go back. If it were a little closer to us we would be absolute regulars. actually we may become regulars anyway. well worth the trip !!!
THE BEST RESTAURANT IN NYC. PERIOD
Great food, outstanding service, great decor and ambiance. Would definitely go back again!
Aiden was the best waiter ever and the food was so good everything from start to finish!
As always, great experience.
Never disappoints! I love this place and go whenever I’m in city for business with and without clients. Everyone loves it.
Food was excellent and the service was top notch. We had an amazing waiter who was very friendly, polite and knowledgeable. Manager was very nice and checked in on us multiple times. Fantastic service and incredible food.
Never ever gets old - as fresh as day one!
Solid, creative dining. Staff Uber professional and caring. Our waiter Aiden was fantastic. Any question we had about the menu or food he graciously answered or cane back with the answer. Classic NYC spot. Everything we had was delicious and presented very nicely.
Service was attentive. There were 5 of us but we fit fine without crowding. Loved the foie gras and the lamb was terrific too. Wine was excellent and my cucumber gin tequila cocktail was amazing. A little loud but everyone could hear and were having a great time. Will definitely come back.
Most importantly the food was amazing. We tried the fried oysters, paella, striped bass and the fried chicken.
The ambiance was just ok. I was told that it wasn't anything to write home about, but that the food was the reason you go. The main issue they have is there are too many tables in that small space. We constantly got bumped by so many people as they were trying to get to and from their tables...and get this about half the people dining had backpacks with them. So not only did they bump you accidentally, but their backpack did also. That was the worst part about our experience. We would have stayed and ordered more drinks and food, but we were uncomfortable, so we left. I would propose visit again, but only if I sat in one of the booths on the right side of the restaurant.
Only drawback is the noise-level in the small room. Tip: get there before 6:30pm.
Good food. Great service. And amazing chocolate dessert.
My go-to late night dining experience. Just superb food, service and ambience
Love this restaurant, its my favorite for quick meal with my husband, night out with friends or really late night out and need something to EAT!!
