Mashed Potatoes and Collard Greens
It has been a few years since I last stepped foot into BR. And as I remembered, it was a fabulous dinner. We celebrated a 75th bday.
Everyone at the table loved the service and food.
The sautéed calamari, bone marrow, ravioli, all to die for. The banana split and crème brûlée, delicious as always. (We had way more than the above to eat, everything tasted spot on).
Thanks for dinner!
Excellent food and service !
Took my husband here for his birthday. Everything on the menu sounded amazing. We loved everything we ordered.
The best food and experience I have ever had.
Food and service are always good and consistent every time we visit.
We go into the city every year around Christmas or New Year as it's our family tradition. Sometimes we go near Rockefeller Center or like we did this time, Soho. We enjoy the shopping and like to try new places. We chose Blue Ribbon Brasserie because it had something for everyone. The fried chicken, like it's recommended for, was fantastic! The steamed clams were some of the best! And our rib eye steaks were flavorful and juicy! I would highly recommend as a stop on your visit.
The ambiance is wonderful. The service was attentive but not too overbearing. The drinks were great1
Late night dinner at one of our favorite hangs. French onion soups, a bottle of Burgundy and his and hers steaks. At Blue Ribbon, it’s always a perfect night.
A very good experience
I love them I’m a frequent flyer there! Best salmon in soho
Great food and open at 11.15 in a dead city!
Awesome fried chicken!!!
Another brilliant meal with a wonderful group--great food, very good wine, great conversations with the amiable wait staff as well as other "locals" sharing the experience. After 26 years the spirit and the food make Blue Ribbon one the of best places I have ever been.
For the most part it was a great dining experience due to the fact that the food was beautifully prepared and presented. Everything was incredibly delicious. That said we got off to a bumpy start with our server.
It was our first-time dining here and we asked for recommendations and was told that our asking the question was irrelevant. In fact, he said... "a more relevant question would be..." and then went on to tell us what in his opinion we should be asking. It was incredibly rude... he was rude. We ordered 3 cocktails for the table and after waiting what seemed like an unusually long period of time considering the place was pretty empty, he only brought 1 of the cocktails. Serving 101... always bring all cocktails at the same time so while you're sipping your drink your fellow dining companions can join you instead of waiting to be served.
Other than that, and the fact that the room is in desperate need of a makeover (absolutely no ambience whatsoever) the meal itself was outstanding and yes, we look forward to returning and would highly recommend it to others.
Outside dining on Sullivan St. is perhaps the warmest most inviting outdoor table we've experienced in NYC. Food quality and service was 4* Wine list is both classic and current - great value. never disappoints.
Best Oysters in NYC.
This place always delivers. Great service. Great food. Nice Atmosphere.
Always great to be back to this NYC gem
Amazing food and great service. Our family go-to for quality food and a great time!
the food is always AMAZING!
one of the best restaurants in NYC!
Blue Ribbon Brasserie has been serving the most consistently delicious and interesting dishes for decades. I've been there many times and it never disappoints, and it was no different on New Year's Eve with my family. I had the BEST steamed mussels (in spicy saffron broth) and fried chicken there, both my daughters devoured their salmon and branzino, and my husband really enjoyed his hanger steak. Blue Ribbon is NYC food scene at its best and we highly recommend the restaurant for any occasion!
While I prefer the festive atmosphere indoors, the outdoor cabins are lovely—cosy with floor and ceiling heaters, pleasant with heavy curtains rather than plastic, windows that can open to ensure good ventilation: safe, yet warm! A really nice set up for these trying times! And of course the food and service are always exceptional. So we had a great time as always!
Don’t forget to ask what the specials are! What an experience this place was.
Great food. Bathrooms are filthy. Hostess will yell at you if you go inside to use the restroom if you are dining outdoors.
They have a really nice outdoor dining setup. Service and food and drink always wonderful.
Outdoor dining booth is cozy. Service is excellent. Food was delicious. Great experience.
Just an overall excellent dinner. I have yet to be disappointed by this place. From the bread all the way to the last bite of my fried chicken was perfection.
Favorite NYC for late dining. Food and service fantastic. Ask for Aidan as your waiter. Playlist is always amazing.
The service was excellent. We both loved the seasonal roasted vegetables that were a special for the evening. I could have ordered more to go they were so addictive. Overall a very wonderful experience.
Overall great experience. Very nice, accommodating staff when our party was a little late for our reservation. Our server Victor was the absolute best! Not only a great server, basically took over our food order for us and was spot on. He kept us entertained and laughing. Made for a very fun dinner! All of the food was amazing. The highlights were oysters, escargot, duck and OMG the FRIED CHICKEN!!!! We all love fried chicken and agree it’s the best we’ve ever had.
My wife and I had the paella and shrimp Provençal . Both were delicious and the service was efficient and attentive. We both enjoyed our meal and experience.
Wonderful food, great ambiance and service was friendly and attentive.
Wonderful ambiance and food. Bustling and friendly. It very high noise level!
Wonderful restaurant that takes great care to make sure you are welcome and fed well!
absolutely the best late night go to dining option for NYC
My favorite restaurant in NYC. It’s just as great as it’s ever been.
As always fabulous food!
The food and service was amazing.
It was fine, and it's in a nice area, but the overall experience was not the quality we expected. Given other reviews, the bar had been set too high. Perhaps it was just an off night, but I'm not likely to test that theory by trying it again.
