What Insiders Are Saying
The original Blue Ribbon in Soho, in which you can eat bone marrow, fried chicken, and oysters from a white table cloth at 3am. What a world.
Great food, outstanding service, great decor and ambiance. Would definitely go back again!
Aiden was the best waiter ever and the food was so good everything from start to finish!
As always, great experience.
Never disappoints! I love this place and go whenever I’m in city for business with and without clients. Everyone loves it.
Food was excellent and the service was top notch. We had an amazing waiter who was very friendly, polite and knowledgeable. Manager was very nice and checked in on us multiple times. Fantastic service and incredible food.
Never ever gets old - as fresh as day one!
Solid, creative dining. Staff Uber professional and caring. Our waiter Aiden was fantastic. Any question we had about the menu or food he graciously answered or cane back with the answer. Classic NYC spot. Everything we had was delicious and presented very nicely.
Service was attentive. There were 5 of us but we fit fine without crowding. Loved the foie gras and the lamb was terrific too. Wine was excellent and my cucumber gin tequila cocktail was amazing. A little loud but everyone could hear and were having a great time. Will definitely come back.
Most importantly the food was amazing. We tried the fried oysters, paella, striped bass and the fried chicken.
The ambiance was just ok. I was told that it wasn't anything to write home about, but that the food was the reason you go. The main issue they have is there are too many tables in that small space. We constantly got bumped by so many people as they were trying to get to and from their tables...and get this about half the people dining had backpacks with them. So not only did they bump you accidentally, but their backpack did also. That was the worst part about our experience. We would have stayed and ordered more drinks and food, but we were uncomfortable, so we left. I would propose visit again, but only if I sat in one of the booths on the right side of the restaurant.
Only drawback is the noise-level in the small room. Tip: get there before 6:30pm.
Good food. Great service. And amazing chocolate dessert.
My go-to late night dining experience. Just superb food, service and ambience
Love this restaurant, its my favorite for quick meal with my husband, night out with friends or really late night out and need something to EAT!!
Great food and service
Amazing place ...my favorite for late night early night whenever
I’ll be back! Perfection
The food and service were great. Just a tad noisy and the tables are a bit too close together
My second time here and its always a great experience. Staff is excellent and food is delicious. Great night out in Soho.
This was part of our trip to manhattan first time experience well worth it. Cozy yet romantic. Had a wonderful wine selection and the steak was very flavorful. Most popular for their raw bar. The staff was very on top of everything you didn’t even have to think about asking for another drink they were always a step ahead will return.
Another great meal at one of our favorite restaurants in NY. Always order menu standouts like Bone Marrow, terrine of Foie Gras and beef tartar. But ask for specials of the day, we also had the scallops, the tofu ravioli . Staff is so professional, courteous and dishes come and go effortlessly. A great spot that should not be missed.
Excellent as always. It’s a go-to spot for just about any occasion.
amazing as always. my go to whenever i'm in nyc...which is about 4x a year.
Still my favorite restaurant in New York City.
This place is our happy new discovery. We stopped in because we happened to be nearby, and we feel so glad we tried it. Delicious food, impeccable service, nice people. Thank you to the chef and the staff.
My husband and I always have the most amazing experience when we go to Blue Ribbon Brasserie. It is a most try for everyone. I promise once you go, it will quickly become a favorite go to place, as it has for us!
Though our gift card read print and present to server the Manager would not accept gift certificate. Demanded original email and then attempted to "register". We paid with our credit card. After fifteen minutes the gift card giver was able to register. A spoiled wedding anniversary celebration and a manager that made no attempt to reconcile.
Server was very attentive and friendly. Great hospitality and service. We felt very welcome and completely taken care of.
I only have the opportunity to dine here twice a year I live in Los Angeles but Blue Robbin never disappoints, the food is amazing my fav is the escargot the French gravy port wine is amazing & the hibachi style cooking it a fun group activity. Overall please visit this amazing place it won’t let you down !
We are currently semi frequent fliers (since moving farther away) previously very frequent fliers and know how amazing and consistent the food and drink is ! Definitely worth the drive from Warwick ny! We are Usually Friday night or Saturday Patrons but were unable to make either of those nights this past week and have been craving steak tartare and oysters so decided to give it a go Sunday night 6/2/19. Food again was amazing as always. The Bartender is one of our favorites! Bunch of new faces on the floor I guess explains the service being a little off throughout our whole dining experience . We joked possibly was the B team as we aren’t usually Sunday night dwellers. After being in the industry as long as my husband and I had been would’ve understood if the place was jammed packed but there were many many open tables (also something we weren’t used to at this establishment again chalking it up to the day we chose to dine) and seemed to have more than enough service staff?! Maybe an off night for the servers but will not deter us from dining in the future food and drink definitely worth it!
When I go to a restaurant, the very first thing that I care about....is the food!! The food was amazing. The service was amazing as well. and am trying to find an excuse to go back there soon!!
Great food great ambiance great value!
Awesome place, food and service! We were looking for a place to catch a "nice" meal - late hours -after a show and my searches turned up the Blue Ribbon Brasserie. So glad it did and more so, so glad we went!
Always the best
It’s a great restaurant, the food was fantastic! And the service outstanding. Even though I didn’t like where we were seated the overall experience overcame that aspect
I visit NYC from Tokyo once in a while as a business trip.
And I love this place since 1998...for more than 20yrs!
I will visit again on next trip for sure.
Outstanding local restaurant - exquisite service and fantastic food. Highly recommended.
It’s always satisfying to dine at Blue Ribbon Brasserie. And especially so this time when we had a minor issue and were treated so graciously by the host, Dan.
