The original Blue Ribbon in Soho, in which you can eat bone marrow, fried chicken, and oysters from a white table cloth at 3am. What a world.

What a great vibe, food and drinks. I wish it were where I live in the UWS. There’s a reason they’ve been around for 25 years In a brutally competitive city. Check it out

BRB never fails to disappoint, other than not being able to get a table! Great food, drinks, wine and service without any pretense. Diverse and eclectic menu but not so large that it lacks soul. As a New Orleanian the seafood - both raw and cooked - is legit, but so is everything else on the menu.

We dined early and the restaurant was quiet. Our food—warm goat cheese salad and salmon—was very good, as was the wine we ordered. The wait staff was excellent.

Old school dining wonderfulness. There is a reason Chefs come here after their shift is up. It's small and old and wonderful. If you ask your server what to eat, they make great recommendations. The oysters are great. The fried chicken is great, get over the price tag. The menu is broad and deep and wonderful. Bone marrow? Wow.

The service is the best. Fast, attentive, and friendly. I don't live in NY, but I get there on business frequently, and I find a way to eat at Blue Ribbon....

Blue Ribbon never disappoints . They were gracious when I phoned to say we were running late, and warm and welcoming when we arrived. The wine list is good, and the food was honest and tasty. I try to dine there every time that I’m in New York, and have sampled most of the menu so far and there is nothing that I would not order again. I always leave there feeling well satisfied .

The food was excellent. Atmosphere was french bistro all the way as was the menu. Wine selection was good with a number of reasonably priced bottles in most categories. Would go again.

I was shy 1 star because the big round table had the ‘round table syndrome’: it wobbles. Other than that i’ll Be back!

I loved the food when I was here a few years ago, and I was excited to return. The dish I wanted included an ingredient I was allergic to (the ingredient wasn't listed on the menu), and the very friendly and helpful waiter caught it and let me know. The chef prepared a special version of the dish that I wasn't allergic to, which was really going above and beyond! It was cooked superbly. If I had to say something, though, it would be that it wasn't that interesting, and I was slightly disappointed that I was steered towards it when I told the waiter I would be happy to switch to another dish if the chef wasn't excited about the new formulation he was making for me. I think I would have preferred to have something else on the menu that was more pulled-together. The dessert was amazing -- it was straight from the menu and fired on all cylinders -- more how I remembered the food here. I really appreciate the extremely kind staff and remarkably accommodating chef, though! I am looking forward to the next time I'm in town and can go back!

Had dinner here on a Thursday night with a client. Everything was amazing! We had bone marrow, escargot, skate and fried chicken. Everything we ate was delicious! It is worth mentioning that the escargot is not the standard butter and garlic, but was done with a port wine reduction, which was fantastic. Bone marrow was awesome too! Fried chicken was great! The wine selection was pretty good and the recommendation from our server was on target. I will definitely be returning.

I love it here. Such a great little sot, romantic and the foods always great. Its not the cheapest but the ambiance, food and service is defiantly worth it. They also have a nice wine selection.

This is always my go to spot for late night dinning with out of town friends. We get a bottle of wine the blue ribbon royale ,pupu platter and the fried chicken which is the best. The caviar in the blue ribbon royale is the best part the pupu platter is a tasting of different items and great for groups and the fried chicken is unreal. Lastly the vibe is what makes this one of my favorite spots. Music on point !Service is also the best.

First experience (food, service) was so good, I invited a friend to join me and he was local. The food is quite the treat and the staff is quite welcoming. The tables are close (NYC) so not for private conversations. And, as the night advances it can be a bit loud so business chats can be difficult. Overall, the food is the excellent. Loved the duck and the fried chicken (apparently the house favorite).

The only issue I have with dining at the Blue Ribbon Brasserie is that I had to take two cabs....they couldn't locate it...and when one finally at least found Sullivan street, stopped there and told me to walk the last five blocks because that street was difficult to navigate. So, for anyone not walking or taking the subway close enough, it is extremely problematic to get to.

On the plus side, the service was excellent, the food very good and it's nearness to the Soho Playhouse where I was going to theater that evening is wonderful.
