Whether you are in the mood for a Burger and a Pint of Beer, Rack of Lamb and a bottle of Burgundy, or Oysters on the Half Shell and Champagne, Blue Ribbon Brasserie will welcome you from 5pm until 10pm, Tuesday through Sunday. The menu truly has something for everyone including; soups, salads, burgers, steaks, chops, seafood and raw bar with vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options available.
Our youthful culinary vision first sprang to life downtown in SoHo in 1992, and in the years since has become a New York institution. We are proud that our flagship continues to be a local favorite even as it has blossomed into an international culinary destination, known especially for our late-night dining scene.

Mashed Potatoes and Collard Greens
My first time at blue ribbon, and it was such an amazing experience. Our waiter was extremely personable and knowledgeable on the menu. The ambiance was very intimate. The food was amazing. I had the watercress salad which was very light, which is exactly how I wanted to start off my meal. As my main course I had the shrimp provencal and I can not begin to explain how delicious this dish was. It was very rich, the shrimp was cooked perfectly and the ravioli is incomparable full of flavor. I had a drink special which had tequila, gin, lime juice and cucumber and it was exquisite, perfect drink that’ll remind you of spring/summer, very refreshing. I can not wait to go back.
Haven’t been to blue ribbon in almost 5+ years, had a friend visiting and just watched a Food Network episode where Bobby Flay said this place had the best fried chicken and he reminded me that I hadn’t been there in forever.
Fast forward went there tonight with a friend who had never been and had a great time, hostess was lovely, waiter was awesome but then as we were signing our check a gentleman, I assume is a manager told us he had people waiting for the table, and basically looked at us as if we were taking forever to leave. We ate and drank everything as it came out and were not taking our sweet time throughout dinner. We were literally about to leave in such a great mood and he just ruined the whole thing. I guess it will be a decade before I go back now.
I’m sad but it takes a lot to go out and eat these days and when you have an experience like that it just leaves a bad taste in your mouth - that really isn’t hospitality. Our bill was over $300, that is what you would pay at a 1 star Michelin restaurant ...no ‘thank you’ just ‘ I have people waiting for the table’. He needs to work on his delivery or communication skills. :(

Wonderfully prepared and presented food. Pricey but worth it. Been there 4 times and always delighted. They make a mean—as in good and potent— cocktail as well.
It was for my wife’s birthday. The experience was fantastic. Great service. The outdoor booth was very comfortable with effective heaters and felt very COVID safe with the dividers and entire side open to the outside. The food, as always, was fantastic across the board. The best beef marrow and fried chicken anywhere. The paella, steak and BBQ wings were phenomenal too. They make you request the bread now, but that’s worth it too.
We have been customers for overc10 years !! Never have been disappointed. Absolutely try the cream Spinach mussels and the soft shell crabs when in season. XOXOXOXO
Awkwardly and repeatedly approached by wait staff to order more and more food, interrupting conversation at each approach. Then asked to leave when we asked if we could just have another round of drinks. Weak.
I love this restaurant. I have dined there plenty of times. The food is fresh and delicious 😋
Realizing this was a top tier and hot spot back in the day, meaning like 20 years ago decided to give it a try again. A pleasant meal with good food and service. Inside atmosphere is pretty plain. We enjoyed our meal but likely wouldn't return as nothing was truly stand out and was quite pricey.
Still the best! After so many years, nobody puts it all together as well as Blue Ribbon!
Very safe feeling: We sat outside - the tables are protected from the wind and each other. The booths there are equipped with not only an overhead heat lamp, but a special unit to keep our feet warm on this cold day.
The food, drinks and service were top shelf. A truly delightful dining experience.
Delicious food as always. Steak was cooked perfectly and seasoned so well. Branzino is always a solid choice. Lamb chops great. Wish there was more options/ variety for appetizers but no complaints here. It's pretty seafood heavy so it's hard for those who have an allergy. Mains are always a standout. Have been coming here for years and will continue to do so!

Blue Ribbon Brasserie is a temple of food. Everything they prepare is superb. Dishes are imaginative but not overcome by trends, so the ingredients always come through. This place is a New York treasure.
Patrick and Dan makes you feel right at home and Aden is a great addition to the staff !
Wonderful experience! We went during Covid and felt safe and food was delicious! I highly recommend if your looking for that place to “hit the spot”!

A great friend Kithe Brewster referred me to this venue. Food was beyond, however based on the service, I wouldn't dare return!
Blue Ribbon never disappoints. The food was great as was the service. Still one of our favorite places to go.
Very unpleasantly surprised to see that the prices have almost doubled since the re-opening. $30 for a glass of wine? $35 for fried chicken and $22 for a four-shrimp cocktail. Not going back anytime soon. Don’t mind paying five-star prices but not at 3-star restaurant.

This was our first visit here. The atmosphere lends itself to a private, romantic evening. The oysters were the perfect temperature and texture, needing little accompaniment. The lobster, split, breaded and broiled, was breathtaking. High marks for the deserts!

This was my first visit in Covid times and it's been my favorite dining out experience thus far. They did a great job building out booths outside that were very comfortable (heated!), music, and the staff was as great as they've always been. Menu is more limited so some of my favorite dishes weren't available, but was happy with what we did order.

Not a lot of detail out into the look and feel of this blue ribbon location. Food was well made and the menu had so many great options. I’m pretty sure the mash potatoes were powdered. But the fresh seafood and garnishing’s made up for it. Nice for a local visit or delivery for sure. You can’t go wrong with the food!
I do miss James and the bar staff but sitting outside was delightful; and the food and service were outstanding as usual.
