It doesn't suck!
Consistently beautiful setting with excellent food and service
Very attentive waiter. Excellent service, great spacing between courses.
Went for a family celebration. Our waiter, Nick, was attentive and timed our food wonderfully. We had the giant seafood tower, which was fabulous and provided all in our party of 6 with ample samplings. For entrees, we had the Surf & Turf, Scallops, Grouper and Lobster tail - everyone was happy with their selections. Will definitely keep this place in mind for future celebrations.
The atmosphere was amazing. Everyone that came up to our table were so polite. Jason our server was very knowledgeable about the menu. He was very helpful and attentive all night. He also recommended a wine to go with our meal and I ordered it. Very good choice. Our food was delicious. It melted in our mouths.
I made reservations online for our Anniversary. It was so easy. I highly recommend them. We will be back.
Upon arriving we were warmly greeted by a smiling hostess and was then immediately seated. Our server ( Nick) promptly came to our table introduced himself and took our cocktail order. He then allowed ample time for us to review the menu and make our choices. Nick was amazing. He was personable, yet professional, very knowledgeable of the menu and courteous, as well as everyone on the staff that we came in contact with. Our meal and desserts were prepared in a timely fashion and to perfection.
Excellent food. Friendly atmosphere. Nice ambiance. Perfect evening!
Food was amazing. Huge seafood selection! Wine was very good. Loud but the manager is an awesome guy to chat with.
The food was fantastic. Pre set menu was a great deal.
This is one of the best restaurants we know and it is our goto place for special occasions! The food is perfectly prepared and delicious. The service is excellent and they have a comprehensive wine list.
The food was fantastic and the service was as well!
Blue Pointe is always above the rest ... Great food , great taste, great service , & a very relaxing decor... I will recommend Blue Pointe for any occasion...
Seafood tower is great steaks wasn’t to good honestly must say the only thing that is good there is the seafood and also I believe that it’s a little outdated and needs to be updated And some of the employees think that they’re better than you
Came here for Valentines Day. Had a wonderful time, great service, unbelievable food. Well worth every penny.
The food was really tasty and the restaurant was nice and clean but the waitress was rude and I feel
I didn’t receive the 5 star service I deserved for the amount of money I spent my bill was $230 dollars and I had to keep getting other waitresses to get my waitress for things even water. I also noticed she packed up others around us food but did not pack up ours I just feel I deserved better treatment for the money I spent.
Food and service were excellent
Meal and service was outstanding.Third year in a row I took my wife for Valentine's day
First time there had a amazing experience. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others.
My boyfriend took me to dinner here to celebrate Valentine's Day while we were there for a consult at the Cleveland Clinic. The food was excellent, as was the ambiance and decor. I wish I'd been a little better dressed but I didn't know anything about where we were going and we'd come directly from being out all day. I would describe the decor as elegant; a lovely place to celebrate a romantic occasion. The service was also excellent and the melt-in-your-mouth chocolate cake was unforgettable! Thank you (and thanks to my sweetheart, Steve) for a wonderful evening out!
My husband and I were just there for a valentines day lunch. the ahi tuna tartar was fantastic, as was the lobster bisque soup. however, our entrees were mediocre. my scallops were under cooked, I couldn't eat 1 out of the 3, but the shrimp was amazing. my husbands grouper was bland. the bread and butter was delicious.
I wasn't impressed with the surf & turf. Steak had no flavor. The mashed potatoes were dry and clumpy. Lobster was good. My wife ordered the blue point heaven. I tried and we were both happy with that dish. The salad and lobster bisque was good as well. The service and ambiance was decent. We sat at table 11 which we thought was the best table in the house as far as being able to see the city. Overall the food didn't live up to the price. I rate this a 2 star restaurant. There is so much potential for this restaurant if there was more attention to detail all around.
Amazing place. I would recommend it to any one. The surf and turf was phenomenal.
Food was great, our server was average plus but a little slow. Music would be nice for background. A little pricy but expected.
This restaurant has now become one of my top 5 restaurants in Cleveland. We had the oysters and mussels, and then we actually both had the Ahi Tuna from the top part of the menu for dinner....amazing. We just got back from Hawaii last month and have been a spoiled with fresh with Ahi, this can compare FINALLY to what we had over there. If you have been to Hawaii and had Ahi there, you know what I'm talking about LOL. Lisa was an amazing waitress and will make sure that we have her again. This was a perfect evening.
One of my favorite restaurants, and especially for seafood as they have an excellent selection. We started with a side of calamari which was very good, but a little greasy, side sauces were tasty. I got the arugula salad which was fresh, flavorful and served with a light vinaigrette dressing, enough to share. My husband got the Swordfish which was outstanding. I got the Dayboat scallops which were delicious. The creamed, smoked cauliflower served on the side had a nice flavor. Unfortunately we were too full for dessert but what a wonderful dining experience. Can't wait to go back!
The place was elegant as well as prompt service as soon as we walked in the door. The greeters were extremely pleasant and food was worth our time and drive... Thanks again for a pleasant evening....
It has been a long time since I gave five stars to a restaurant. But Blue Point is well worthy! My boyfriend and I had a reservation. We arrived and used the valet service. They were very professional and even advised us of the icy sidewalk. Only a few steps from the car to the front door. The receptionist greeted us again in a very professional manner and we were seated immediately. I had requested a window table which we got. A beautiful view of the red lit Terminal tower for upcoming Valentine’s Day. Our server, Mark, arrived with menus in hand and told us about the specials. Mark was spot on all nite. Timed the meal perfectly. I had the Blue Point Heaven, shrimp, lobster tail and scallops. My boyfriend had the oysters, lobster bisque and surf and turf. He had cheese cake and great tasting coffee for dessert. I had a taste for a Brandy Alexander. Well the bar is not equipped with a blender but Mark and the bartender made one for me anyway. This restaurant covered all the aspects that I needed to have a exceptional dining experience. Thank you and we will be back!!
We celebrated my husband's birthday. It was very special we were seated next to the window so we could look out and see all the happenings outside. Our waitress was so helpful in choosing the correct wine to go with our dinner. The oysters were so refreshing. The grouper was awesome, so tasty and prepared perfect. They accomodated my request to substitute the lobster mash potatoes with a choice of vegetable. It was a great dinner and highly recommend if you love fish this is the place. Its a little more expensive but great place for a special occasion or just splurge for a nice dinner.
All of the staff were exceptional! They visited the table often enough to make us feel special. I had the halibut and my husband the grouper and both were delicious. We were given creme brûlée for our anniversary dessert and it is a favorite of mine. Great experience.
Our meal was a perfectly lovely birthday dinner for two. Just the right amount of beautiful food, and excellent service.
