Love the food . Service is always excellent.
Absolutely spectacular array of food and all cooked so very well.
Great food, great service overall nice evening out.
We had placed a reservation for Sunday night and had arrived early. The hostess acknowledged our reservation and sat us at a table despite a wait time for seating in the restaurant interior. We were then forgotten and did not see a server until we approached the hostesses twenty five minutes later. We only noticed the oversight when tables seated after us were being served before us. Our eventual server was very apologetic, helpful and accommodating. We do appreciate receiving complimentary drinks and dessert but we were disappointed with our first dining experience there.
Great menu with excellent food! We have tried various selections and have always been pleased. Often go there two nights in a row because we enjoy the restaurant so much. Its BYOB so the cost is quite reasonable--super value.
Server was excellent.
Lobster Bisque, Tuna Poke and Butternut Squash Ravioli were all very good.
Octopus was swimming in an oil that had no flavor.
Skip the shrimp dumplings.
Blue Point Grill was fantastic! One of the best seafood restaurants I have eaten at. There was an immense selection and all of the fish was prepared simply. Try the Buffalo calamari appetizer…to die for.
Only downside is it is very loud. In the summer an outside table would be ideal.
We enjoyed an assortment of fresh oysters. It was so nice that each variety was marked so that we could remember our favorites for the next visit. We ordered the paella and the corvina. Both were excellent & very fresh. We also shared the apple crisp for dessert. It was quite good. Our only disappointment was the noise level. Fairly loud & often hard to hear our own conversation. Additionally a table with younger, but not small children were seated several tables away, but were rudely screaming through most of our dinner. Nonetheless we will return as both the food & service were great.
Excellent as always
Good food but noise level made it difficult to converse.
It's been a few months since we have visited the Blue Point Grill; but the food and service met our expectations and recollections. Both of our entrees and sides were very good and the server was either well trained or experienced or both; she was attentive without being intrusive.
Best seafood in Central NJ. Enjoy the Buffalo Calamari.
Always a wonderful evening, it was my birthday. We were seated immediately and waiter was very prompt and knew the dishes so was able to explain.
Good service. Good food. Very pleasant. We will come back
The best raw oyster selection to be found. Great service, expertly prepared fish from a broad selection, and the byob makes it an affordable dinner out.
My wife and I frequent the Blue Point Grill for special occasions-probably four or five times a year. We met up with friends there for dinner. and as usual, the food and especially the service were impeccable. We LOVE dining there!
Always top of list return to favorite on trips to Princeton. Fish lovers paradise!
Staff pleasant and efficient, knowledgeable and resourceful.
The food was very good, the service was also good. The seating was a little cramped for a booth for 2.
delicious simple food! Oysters are fantastic. Fresh, great variety. They will prepare the fish to accommodate your dietary needs. The appetizers are great for sharing. Jalapeño shrimp, tuna poke, grilled octopus and edamame dumplings all wonderful.
Fantastic oysters, grilled fish and dessert. Service is always superb.
Absolutely fabulous as usual. Virginia was perfect as usual. Chilean Sea bass is to die for.. You can never go wrong with that order. Can't wait for this weather to turn!
The food is always high quality. We've never been disappointed.
Great experience, as always, love the new addition and coming roof top bar!
One of my favorites. Hard to get into , you really need to plan ahead but well worth the wait. Excellent food always so very fresh. Great menu selections. Service is fantastic very knowledgeable of the menu.
Always a great meal & great service!
Outstanding seafood and service.
Great as always! The best place to go for fresh fish in the area! Highly recommend!
Food was fantastic as always. Service was ok, but not great. Waitress never offered to fill or refill our wine glasses. Prices for entrees seemed a little high but fresh seafood is worth it. FYI- my special cod w “jumbo lump crab”literally had only 2 small pieces of crab and then some clams (not in the meal description). It was delicious , but really it was disappointing.
It surpassed what my wife and I expected. Waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable on our questions and menu. Food was top notch. Can’t wait to make reservations again. *Side note, the octopus appetizer is one to die for. SO GOOD!!!*
Noise level is way too high to have any meaningful conversation. It was a struggle to hear my companions. Food, etc. is great but the noise really detracts.
The place for seafood, warm friendly environment, Steve manages the dining room with efficiency, wait staff attentive, reasonable, quality perfect, recommended.
This place is my go to when I don’t want to go far and seafood is the appetite. The service however is heavily driven by the kitchen ; get in and get out fast. I don’t like slow service but this place is the opposite; efficient but too efficient for me. I felt rushed . The seafood entrees are great but the steak (only one option filet) is dry and barely the temperature you’d expect and absolutely no seasoning. The desserts are OK but way overpriced; better quality is elsewhere for after dinner options. Expect to spend more here .. way more than you’d expect. So value is good at best. Ambience is fine but sometimes noisy and often tight seating. For the prices I pay I’d like more comfortable seating and parking in a better and well lit space please!
Valentines Day dinner. Delicious as always!
Food was delicious. Not a big seafood guy but this place made it perfectly
A great cozy restaurant with amazing food. I go for étouffée. It’s always a good date spot.
Food is so good, just remember to bring your own wine!
My son had crab cakes, which he enjoyed. My husband had surf and turf, and was pleased with it. I, however, had seafood paella, which was served with a large spoon in it. I should have realized this meant that the meal was extremely liquidy, unlike at other restaurants where I have had paella. The rice was totally soaked in liquid. It was not what I was expecting and would not recommend this dish to anyone eating here. The waiter was friendly and attentive.
Had Chilean Sea Bass which was OK, but not great or excellent. Also had Icelandic Cod which was also lackluster. Kind of pricey for the quality, and overall dining experience. Ambivalent as to whether I would recommend the place to someone.
