We try to get here at least once a month. It's the best seafood ever had out and the staff is excellent and accommodating.

We have dined here many times, and will continue to do so. The food is always great. The staff has always been attentive. Although most of the menu is seafood there are alternatives such as some pasta, chicken, and steak (may be pork also, don't recall). The prices range from relatively inexpensive to pricey. It all depends on what you order. You certainly can eat there for an average price as compared to other places, and chains. It is a byob, which I enjoy more than buying drinks (most of the time). The only "complaint" I had with this visit was the speed of our meal (there were 4 adults). We just finished appetizers. The staff removed our plates, and our dinners literally came at that time. We all thought they were going to rush us out so they could quickly fill our 4 seats. However, that proved untrue. We ate, and carried on conversation, and finally left almost 2 hours after our arrival. The staff never rushed us at all. So, the complaint turned out to be incorrect. The dinners could have come out another 10-15 minutes later, but everything was great.

A mixed bag: outstanding oysters, good but not great grilled and fried calamari, a nicely cooked piece of swordfish that didn’t taste very fresh. Excellent table service. BYOB. If you even want to dream about being able to have a conversation, arrive very early or very late: the acoustics (bare brick walls, etc) are horrendous.

This restaurant never disappoints. The food is great, the service is good and the ambiance is romantic. It's BYOB which is also nice. It is a little on the noisy side, however but I still really enjoy going here. Great for date night!

Very good food but a little too pricey considering the noisy atmosphere. The corvina was really great........prepared and cooked just right. Both Manhattan She Crab soup and New England Clam chowder very good as well as the dessert.

The oyster tasting that we had was amazing it was really good but other than that the main dishes were not good. I ordered the paella and it tasted like wet mushy overcooked rice with canned whole tomatoes or canned stewed tomatoes no spices I almost had to add salt they were literally three slices of sausage in the whole thing and the fish and shrimp were undercooked. It was really a let down and my husband had grilled fish and a baked potato which was OK but nothing special and certainly not worth the money we could’ve made it better tasting at home. Overall we would definitely go back for the oysters only.

We've eaten at Blue Point Grill dozens--no, maybe hundreds--of times. It's pretty much always on the money. The fish is perfectly fresh, cooked simply but with maximum attention to flavor, and the atmosphere is of energetic pleasure-loving. While the emphasis is on the fish as nature made it, we also very much enjoy some of the more aggressively prepared appetizers. In fact, the perfect meal there is some high-spiced starter like the lime grilled shrimp (unless, of course, you want to do oysters) followed by whatever the server most enthusiastically recommends with its simple presentation involving a bit of wine, lemon, and capers. The opportunity to dig in one's own cellar for a Chablis or a Friulian tocai or sauvignon blanc rounds out the pleasure.

Blue Point never disappoints. The oyster choice is excellent and the crab cakes are delish, almost all lump crabmeat. No fillers here. Service is excellent. The only negative thing i can say is sitting inside is a little loud.

Fantastic restaurant. Went for 10th anniversary. My wife, who'd never been before, was very impressed. Food was outstanding. The crab guacamole martini is a must. BYOB, which keeps your costs down. Will definitely return.

I arrived a bit early and the hostess was kind enough to grab an ice bucket for my wine.

Overall the food was quite good. My tuna was cooked as advertised (seared, nearly raw inside) and was very fresh, if somewhat under-seasoned. Generous portions.

Service was solid, but not obsequious. We were attended and never felt rushed. Food prices pretty much what one might expect for this quality and location. BYOB a huge plus.

The place is smallish and filled rapidly. Noise levels were energetic.

Well worth the trip. I would come back.

The food is very good, but a little pricey. Great seafood and side dishes. Everyone was very happy with their main courses. I tried New Zealand Blue Note (fish entree), a flaky white fish that I never heard of, but had to try to say "I had this". I should have told them to cook it less per my preference for all fish, my fault. Because I didnt, it was not as good as it could have been. Still, good appetizers (grilled octopus and Lobster Bisque) and salad. I would definitely return again. Very accommodating server, much appreciated.

Bustling restaurant known for it's fresh seafood. A little pricy but well worth it. The service is friendly and knowledgeable. The portions were plentiful. I had the Nova Scotia halibut and it was excellent. My wife had the Georges Banks sole and it was also delightful. The grilled Portuguese sardines were ok but wouldn't order them again - to fishy. Will definitely return.

Bluepoint never disappoints. The fresh selection of oysters is a favorite for the sampler so we can compare. Any of the fresh fish is prepared perfectly. Our favorites are the Chilean Sea Bass and the Australian Barramundi. It is BYOB. There is a store two doors down. We usually enjoy the outdoor dining. Can't wait for the upstairs outdoor dining! Eat here. You will thank yourself!
