   For $70, we got: 2 entrees (taco platters) Chips and Salsa 1 beer. The taco meats tasted like leftovers that were reheated. Flour shells were soggy and unusable. Beans with the taco platter was good and so was the guacamole. But for $70…definitely it worth it. You can spend $15-$20 at the store and easily make this meal yourself.

    Very bad experience. Visited this restaurant to celebrate a birthday only to experience a 20 min wait to be acknowledged. Once we finally got our drink order taken, another long wait to place the main order which was not complete. Finally, when it was time for cake, the staff rudely said "the only thing we have is tres leche cake, do you want that?" when I said, I saw other options on the menu?.. she just walked away and came back with our check.. Which overcharged me for a margarita that I did not order. Nevertheless, we took care of the bill and will NEVER visit this restaurant again. Bad service/Bad Management!

    The tacos were correct but not super great. It was still a good quality/price. The margarita watermelon was average, not super tasty. The service was great, the music was nice and the location is nice too.

    We said outside. But the music was too loud for conversation. But, I am 62 years and maybe considered old who doesn't like loud music. At times, we had to talk loudly to hear one another because people at other tables had to raise their voices. Turn down the music!

    Amazing outdoor space for food and drinks. I was able to make reservations for 3 within an hour on a Saturday afternoon and was immediately seated. Plenty of parking within a few blocks, great ocean view. The food was okay for the price. Chicken quesadilla, fish tacos and delicious drinks!

    Had the best time as always, staff is so warm and welcoming. Food is delicious and drinks are refreshing. Who doesn’t like margaritas?! Great music and great management. Best Mexican restaurant in Santa Monica hands down.

    For upscale relatively expensive tacos, they are just average. Fish taco way over sauced. Carne asada had only a few small pieces of very dry meat.

    I’ve tried three tacos, the fried fish was by far superior. I could’ve eaten three of those. Guacamole it was fantastic and so were the mango and watermelon. Margaritas!

    The location is great,the restaurant is a short walk from the beach, pier or the third street promenade. However, get ready for a mediocre, at best, food combined with the less than mediocre service. Moreover, their pitchers of margarita and sangria are mostly ice. It took us 15 minutes to get seated, although we had a reservation. We had to wait another 10 minutes for our waiter to appear and take our order. The drinks showed up very promptly, unfortunately they were tasteless and had 75% ice. The food start showing up shortly after, unfortunately they we’re bringing stuff that wasn’t ordered by us. We kept sending it back… unfortunately our own food took a while. The appetizers never showed up at all, the main course took close to 25 minutes although came out ice cold. Whoever is running that place need to seriously consider some leadership changes.

    Expensive for a Mexican restaurant for known for tortillas, beans/rice. However, service was great, cadillac margarita was delicious..small but prepared well and the bartender didn't skimp out on the alcohol. Substituted salmon for lobster salad..great flavor. Crowd - its not your Maestro's or Wally's crowd - not an upscale crowd. In general, I enjoyed the meal and service and would come again.

    We had a great meal for 25$ a head (no alcohol) - excellent tuna tostadas, grilled fish tacos and gauc Would definitely come back - had a great chilled out vibe, and nice sheltered-outdoor dining area. Great service staff too - really welcoming and the food came out nice and quick!

    It was a great spot for our date for Valentine’s Day. We loved our food and our server and the staff was so nice and attentive to us. The only thing was it was a bit chilly but they had the heaters blasting so it was all good !

    I am very picky about Mexican/Hispanic foods because I compare them to the homemade examples I had as a kid; for that reason I generally avoid these sorts of restaurants. That being said, I cannot overstate how pleased I am with my experience here. Came here on Valentine’s Day with my significant other. The food was excellent, service was courteous, and ambiance was warm! I’d come back again!

    Delicious Food & cocktails We ordered the guacamole appetizer- (fresh and perfectly seasoned) the Shrimp Taco Bowl-(loved the slaw and veggies included in the bowl) the ceviche-(fresh and chilled) , posole, (as good as my mommas) a steak taco (standard but flavorful) and the Cadillac Margarita and the passion fruit raspberry margarita. (Both equally tasty) The service was top notch and the view of the ocean can’t be beat!!

    It's always a lovely place! My only complaint is that I made the reservation 2 weeks in advance, and upon arrival, we were told our table was out in the sun, with no covering whatsoever. It would make sense to seat a table of 4 with a reservation in the prime seating area, right? As a result we waited for 20 minutes for a seat in partial shade.

    The vegetarian tacos and cheese quesadilla are fabulous. I love that the tacos come with brown rice, black beans and the tortillas and handmade. The chips and guacamole were good too. The roasted salsa is really tasty. Service is fantastic and everyone is very helpful and friendly. It's wonderful to sit outdoors and enjoy the ocean view. It's a bit pricey but everything on the Westside has gone up way too high!
