It was a surprise birthday meal and the staff were fantastic at facilitating the secret. A special complimentary dessert too, with a candle! And a song 😲as well.
We have eaten at The Blue Piano before, so expected good food, and on this occasion it was excellent, our choices assisted with the waitress's recommendations.
It was a quiet evening, really relaxing, with a good choice of music played in the background. A big thank you to the staff. In all, a thoroughly enjoyable experience!

The menu offers a good range of South East Asian food. We had a range of different starters, mains and desserts between our group and all were well presented, extremely tasty and reasonably priced.

I little piece of Singapore in Birmingham! Possibly the best Rendang I've had - certainly in the UK!

Their carrot cake is excellent and a real treat to find this outside Singapore.

Good cocktails, excellent ambiance with live music from the next door bar. Friendly service and a thorough allergy menu.

Valentine's dinner. Absolutely spectacular food. The carrot cake starter was insanely good. The lamb stirfry main was brilliant. The chocolate brownie desert was epic. Even the sorbet palate cleanser was amazing. We stayed upstairs overnight too - wonderful and quiet room. Loved this place and we'll definitely be back.

A really lovely evening, great live music, the Chinese style food was extremely well done and very taste, service just right, never rushed , we had a nice window table and we were able to talk to each other, overall a very good evening we will definitely visit the Blue Piano again

We came in for lunch and was one of the first to arrive. No one else in for lunch, but it did pick up around 12-12:30. We ordered from the lunch menu and was great food really tasty and good portions. Took a while for the food to be made which was a little disappointing as I only came in on my lunch break and only 3 others came in for lunch at the same time. I would recommend this place but maybe for evening meal.

We had a party of 5 and the food was lovely. The service was slightly slow, but it was busy in the restaurant and it didn't really matter as we were chatting.
I have been here a few times now and it certainly did not disappoint!

We expected high standards and were certainly not disappointed.

The building itself is very nice.

We were impressed with the table restaurant layout as they weren't arranged to maximise turnover. This meant that you could have a conversation without being overheard or trying to compete with another neighbouring table.

The live music was in another room to the restaurant so even though we could hear it the volume didn't disturb us. After diminishing our lovely meal we then went into the bar to enjoy the music which was excellent while sipping on cocktails and whiskey.

The food was first class and we really enjoyed.

What a little gem! Busy enough for a buzz, but not so busy that it felt manic. Great service and truly tasty food! Great value too - a starter and a main on a Saturday night plus around 2 glasses of wine each for a bargain £30 a head. Highly recommend.

This was our first visit to Blue Piano. Both the food and service were excellent and we will definitely be back.

Food presented nicely and very tasty at a good reasonably price

We had an excellent vegetarian meal here at a reasonable price. Starters were very good and we had a range from the options (if there was a comment it would be that they were quite 'hot'). Mains were also good - the curries were probably the best value but all of it was tasty (I had the rice noodles). The Japanese ice creams made for very good dessert. The bar was very quiet and slightly on the cold side and there were not many people in the restaurant either (but that may be the consequence of a cold Saturday night)

Had a fantastic meal, the waiter was very attentive, even going so far as to suggest we order less food for two people and changing items on a sharing starter to include specific things we wanted to try. Carrot cake is amazing!

Food was okay but not outstanding and the whole place could do with being updated. Service was timely and pleasant.

Superb friendly service and the food was delicious authentic Thai cuisine. Beautiful surroundings, has a variety of rooms and separate bar. Complimented a perfect evening. Highly recommend!
