    Not sure about later times, but even with a crowded convention being held—noise was at a soft level, though we came around 3pm. Only issue was upon walking into the hotel, we stood waiting for someone to greet us. After a minute passed, we notice that we had to pass one restaurant/bar in order to make contact with someone from Blu. Besides that. The food was rich in flavors and fresh. Seafood “Jalea”(calamari and octopus plus more) & the Lobster Bisque(Rich Creamy Flavored) along with Lomo Saltado Empanadas( Juicy flavorful BEEF) wonderfully prepared. Recommend for any one who likes to pick of their love ones plate. Hats off & toast to the chef.

    Jenly la waitress fue muy amable y nos dio un excelente servicio. The omelet estación es excelente y las omelet muy deliciosa. Fuimos por el cumpleaños de mi hermano y nos sentimos muy en casa. Gracias y regresaremos muy pronto.

    Based on prior reviews we did not realize that this is the hotel’s restaurant. If you’re staying at the hotel, then the restaurant is great! However, if you’re looking for a nice place to celebrate a special event it’s really just mediocre. The service was great. The food was ok.

    The food was delicious. Very intimate restaurant located inside Intercontinental Hotel in Doral. Previously, I tried their lunch buffet but dinner was great! Very friendly staff.

    Most of the food wasn't labeled. I choked, yes CHOKED, on something. The staff was immediate in their life saving response. However, the experience left a bad taste in my mouth. LITERALLY.

    Went for the Miami Spice special. The waiter was really great. However, the food not so great. The pork was very dry as was the rice. The pasta was good.

    Food was mediocre at best. The waiter was the best part of our experience. Food was ok at best and certainly did not live up to expectations that I saw on Yelp. Sad

    My friends and I realized last minute that Miami Spice started, so we wanted to take advantage. We were able to make a reservation the day of. The restaurant wasn’t full of people, which I was happy about. Our waiter was incredible and even changed the wine selection for us to better accommodate it with our food choices. He recommended Pinot noir and it was a nice complement for our food. Not all restaurants offer alcohol in the Miami Spice rate, so this was a nice treat. I had the ribs as my starter, oxtail for my entree and the caramel mousse (basically dulce de leche) for dessert. Everything was delicious and well-prepared. I see myself coming back here outside of Miami Spice!

    Food was not good at all. I was fooled into dining here because of the high reviews only to find out after that most of them were based on the breakfast experience. The lobster bisque was a watery, tasteless mess that seemed like something you buy out the store. The chicken dish was not seasoned and very dry and had some yellow sauce squeezed on it. It didnt survive a single bite by me or my date. The pork dish was explained as a pork tenderloin type dish when it was just a battered fried pork chop. With only one other customer in the restaurant it was slow, the server barely spoke english and even after I opted not to eat the items was harassed to try something else, or they would give us something else for free. It was weird, it was like he couldnt understand what we were saying kept giving alternatives even though we said we were going to leave. They opted to let me have the wine complimentary but man it was not a great experience. Ended up eating McDonalds and going home.

    My sister, niece and I went to the Blue Matisse for dinner while we were in Miami. Oh my goodness, what a great dinner we had. Our waiter, Juan, was very friendly and gave his recommendations when we asked him. We were not disappointed. I had the cowboy steak, oxtails, and the pork chop. Everything was cooked to perfection and delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone.

    Enjoyable evening spent at the Blue Matisse bar area. Roberto was our barman and server and was on top of everything. We had been there back in November and he remembered us from then. Great drink specials at happy hour and the burger at half price on a Thursday is a must have. Will be back again when next in Miami.

    I went for the breakfast buffet and honestly wasn’t impressed. I asked the server if French toast was available or should I order from the menu and he said, “yeah yeah you can get it at the buffet, it’s the better value for sure.” Then it wasn’t available and he barely came to check on water and coffee refills so I couldn’t even follow up with him about this. I wouldn’t go there again unless I was staying in the hotel and it was convenient. Nothing special about this place.

    Great Miami Spice Menu! Must try the Arepa appetizer and for dessert the Churro. My favorite entree was the ox tail. Fall off the bone good! Portions were so large that my belly button disappeared! Alex, our server was the Best!

    It was my first visit, but wouldn't be my last. Javier and staff provided excellent service. The food was very tasty. We had family from out of town and wanted to try something new. Everyone enjoyed their meals.

    We had an great time dining at this restaurant. Located only a couple minutes from home in a beautiful hotel but looks stunning inside. Has a lounge area for drinks and conversation while across is the bar and in the back the seating for the restaurant. The food is delicious and so colorful creative and vibrant dishes. Also very impressed by the service our waiter Javier was attentive and very kind while making sure our needs were met.

    I've driven by this hotel countless times. Never knew we had a gem right in our backyard. Javier, our waiter, was excellent. We took advantage of Miami Spice and sampled a variety of items. The oxtail was delicious!

    The buffet is varied and the food was tasty. On the day we went they had salmon, chicken, empanadas, and many sundries to make a tasty salad. There were additional items but the ones mentioned were outstanding. There was an apple tarte, fruit cup, and a pineapple upside down cake for dessert . The service was inmaculate! Our plates were picked up timely and our glasses were refilled with water many times. It was a great experience.

    We arrived at the restuarant for a business lunch and were seated at our table promptly. We waited over 15 minutes for a server whom never came to our table (but there were at least 6 employees in the restaurant). We had to grab a busser to get menus. After an addtl 10 minutes, we then served ourselves at the buffet because we surely weren't going to order off of the menu fearing an even longer wait. Once we stood, we had to grab a server for our drink order. Terrible terrible service for a not so inexpensive lunch. Do not go.

    The way the restaurant is set up makes it just a bit confusing to find the Host station. Once we did, everything was wonderful. From the service to the food. We loved the menu because they had sharing options giving us the opportunity to taste different plates.

    Overall a good place for a birthday breakfast. Good to lunch if you are in the area. Not as high-end of other Intercontinental hotels. Quality of food is really good.
