Blue Marlin - Bradenton Beach Ratings and Reviews
The food was All exceptional. The service was very polite quick and friendly. The atmosphere is Charming and there is outside dining as well. They had marvelous sangria that they made and each dish was unique and extremely tasty. The desserts were spectacular. I would recommend it for anyone. I can't wait to go back again
Excellent food and service from Savannah. Best food we've had to date on our vacation. My son-in-law is a chef in Philadelphia and knows the effort it takes to present delicious, nicely plated food and good service and this restaurant passed his test with flying colors!
My husband and I enjoyed an excellent dining experience in every aspect. We were late for our reservation, however, we were never rushed. The hostess was courteous and our server was knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. We enjoyed the exceptional summer salad, shrinp cakes, mixed seafood grill. All were delicious. We finished with a slice of guava pie which was so tasty. Excellent beer and wine list. I highly recommend The Blue Marlin. We will definitely be returning many times.
Celebrated a birthday dinner here with a reservation. The pasta with blackened fish was excellent. The lobster grilled cheese needs some editing. It was overloaded with too much cheese and so half of the cheese was spilled out onto the plate and congealed. I would not recommend this dish. This place is quaint however the posh menu and pricing is at odds with the casual atmosphere. While our service was very good it did not feel welcoming and felt cramped. I was also disappointed our celebration was not acknowledged verbally. Overall, it was not a good fit for us but is ideal for casual but foodie diners.
Celebrated my birthday here on Thursday night at 7:30 . Chose this restaurant for it's reviews and surpassed my expectations. For starters we ordered "Hush Puppies" and "Ajillo" Shrimps (superb). At entree the waitress suggested "Deep Fried Red Snapper"which was delicious. My wife ordered the "Black grouper with Pecan Crust, Sweet Potatoes and Green Beans" and it was excellent, very tender and juicy. The Sweet Potatoes were caramelized with butter and cinnamon. For dessert they brought me a Lemon Guava Cheesecake out of bounds. Tremendous service and excellent food.
Great food and great service, very relaxing.
My family and i went to the blue marlin for dinner the atmosphere was awesome . I would recommend it to all of my friends and family. Afterwords we went across the the street to enjoy a awesome sunset as per ami can always deliver
Our dinner at Blue Marlin was our favorite meal during our vacation. We started out with Ajillo shrimp and my husband would have liked to drink the sauce. For our main course we had the black group-Fulford style and shrimp and grits. Everything was absolutely delicious!! We will definitely be returning on our next vacation. Make sure you make reservations--it will be worth it.
We visited Blue Marlin for my daughters 18th birthday. We specifically chose Blue Marlin for the seafood boil. Each dinner was $34 each. Way over priced.not very seasoned and contained mostly clams in shells . I think we each had 4 shrimp a piece, 2 small potatoes and 3 huge pieces of sausages not cut up. Not very appealing. Very much feel that food was Way way overpriced. The $34 did not even include the salad... that was an extra $8 each. . My daughter was able to choose a birthday desert. Nothing looked appealing on the menu... very strange choices. Our waitress suggested the Guava cheesecake. Awful!!! Also, our waitress was not friendly at all ... this was def a Big disappointment! Do not waste your time or $$$$ going here. Also, there is zero parking.... big mistake...
The Blue Marlin was a wonderful restaurant! We were in town on vacation and looking for a restaurant with fantastic, fresh seafood, and yet wasn't a tourist trap, and the Blue Marlin was the perfect choice! The atmosphere was great (not loud or too busy), the waitstaff was friendly and helpful, the food was super fresh and cooked to perfection. Great wine list too. We made a reservation for 6pm on a Friday night and they seated us right away in a great spot. When we're back in town, we'll definitely eat here again!
It was our Tuesday date night, parked at the beach, walked to the restaurant, had very well prepared fresh grouper and Snapper.
After dinner we walked to the beach to sit and watch the sunset. Very relaxing and delicious dinner. A little pricey but good. Enjoy!
We dined at Blue Marlin while on vacation in Anna Maria. Our experience was fantastic! We made reservations and when we arrived our table was all set up and ready for us. The server quickly greeted us and brought over a little bowl of goldfish crackers for our son which was a nice touch. The server was very friendly and attentive without hovering. Another gentleman, I assume was maybe the manager, also was being very observant of the dining room and came by to ensure our meal was to our liking. We started with the edamame which came out quickly and was a nice change to the normal heavy bread everywhere else serves. My husband had the potato crusted grouper and I had a shrimp special-both were wonderful. My son had the mac and cheese which is made with some smoked gouda and was so good the grown ups couldn't help stealing several bites. We were fortunate to have some truly great meals on our trip but this was one of the best by far. The ambiance, service and food were all on point.
