Our golf cart driver will show you to our lot then shuttle you back. There is a public parking lot on 1st ST N and also at the end of Church ST. A free Island Trolley stop is at Gulf Drive and Bridge Street.

There is a trolley stop at the corner of Gulf Drive and Bridge Street that requires a short walk East. The trolley is free and runs until 10:00.

Loved the atmosphere, very nice. However their prices are very overrated and expensive. Looks like someone picked $38 straight down the menu and everything else was $49. Pricing should be more varied. We will be back though and maybe just light on the choosing / selecting, as we like the atmosphere. I'd still recommend others to at least try it, with the pricing in mind.

The food was delicious and the service fantastic. Our dinners were superb. The grouper dijonnaise was exquisite. Anthony (I think that was his name) took great care of us. His hospitality was top-notch. We highly recommend Blue Marlin and will definitely go back.

We were looking for a local establishment that has great food to celebrate our friends’ 28th Anniversary while on our vacation. This place DID NOT disappoint! The shrimp dip appetizer was delicious. We got steak, shrimp & grits, grouper and lobster linguine. Each of us raved about our dishes. The quality & quantity were both amazing! Highly recommend this place if you are visiting Ana Maria Island.

Excellent experience as always! Our server, Drew, was very attentive, personable, and simply outstanding! Food quality is top notch. Ambience is cozy and quaint with a a Florida touch that is beautifully done. Very intimate! This is my favorite restaurant anywhere in the world! Love it!!!! Can’t wait to come back.

Blue Marlin has always been good in the past, but a couple of things not as great this time. My friend and I both ordered the lobster tail over alfredo pasta and the lobster was chewy. Pasta was good, lobster bisque was good, and my friend and her husband loved the clams. Our server has been friendly in the past, so maybe he was having a bad day because he wasn't very friendly and seemed to want to rush us. I understand they might want to get as many tables in a night as possible, but when you are paying this much for a dinner you want to relax and enjoy it. Kinsey who drove the golf cart to their parking lot for us was awesome. So friendly and sweet!!

Super super expensive so could only order burgers. I wanted lobster bisque soup but at $22, that was beyond. Never saw soup more than $12, and $12 is quite a bit. Only super wealthy can afford and it was packed so I queasy they can afford it.

Where to start?!?! Forgot they only take reservations. Walked up at 6:15 pm on a Saturday. Host willingly put us on a list for an inside table in case someone canceled or we had the 9:15pm resy fallback. Ended up there were seats at the quaint bar so jumped on that. Drew was exceptional. Loved the Salty Goose he concocted the best. It was too hot for bourbon but their selection was very top notch. Next time. We had just had a dozen Gulf raw oysters nearby to kick off the night but the clams offering caught my partners eye. My partner chose the small plate clams dish to share to start us off. We both agreed to opt for the white over the red highlighted on the menu. OMG is all I can say. The dish was literally one of the best things I’ve eaten in my entire life. Drew asked if we wanted more bread (initially came with one piece) to soak up the liquid deliciousness once the last clam was to taken down. We obliged but really wanted to tilt the bowl directly into our mouths! Ok, well at least eat it with the Soup Spoon the dish was accompanied by. It was incredible. When it came time to order entrees realized we were a little more full than we’d hope but had asked Drew for entree recommendations. We took his advice this time ordered the Lobster Grilled Cheese and split it. It sounded so unique we had to give it a whirl. Zero regrets. It was insanely ridiculous as was the cheesy grits it was served with. I’d get it again after I try everything else. The menu was very thought out and creative. Words cannot describe the culinary explosion Blue Marlin provided. Pleasantly surprised. Next time it’s the CIOPPINO to share to start. it looked amazing as it was consistently coming out of the kitchen. My family has had a place here since 1995, and now that I’m finally an empty nester, I can now begiin adventure out into places like this. My only regret was waiting 28 years! Well done, Blue Marlin, well done.

Blue Marlin provided a wonderful evening to celebrate a birthday! Albeit hot, we sat outside and our server, Tim made sure the fans were on! There was a guitarist signing which is why I rated the ambience/noice moderate, but know it was easy to hold conversation amongst our party. Superb food and service! We will return!

This place must be on your "must go" list.! The food, service and uniqueness make this place a must. We have never been disappointed! We just recently celebrated our 39-year wedding anniversary there. The food is amazing, and the staff are very friendly and attentive. The music level is exactly as it should be...there...but, at a level that allows you to be able to carry on a conversation without having to lean into the conversation or to feel like you have to scream to be heard. We have never had a bad experience!

This was our first time visiting this cute, quaint ,restaurant. We had heard great things but never had a chance to visit in the past. We came here for our anniversary. Overall we had an excellent experience. The food was great, service as well. .We ordered two different salads and had two different grouper entrées. Again all were excellent.We were very happy with our experience and will definitely come back. thanks!

Had a great dinner- then the waiter lost one of the two debit cards we put down to pay. After lots of looking and no apologies, we left our number and walked back to our place. They called ten minutes later and they found it- which was nice. Was a big downer no one trusted us or apologized. Overall great food.

Absolutely outstanding. We enjoyed everything we had here. I do wish the portions were slightly larger, especially for the appetizers/small plates. However, everything we ate was absolutely incredible. I highly recommend them and Queenie and clams. I love the decor and atmosphere inside, nautical and upscale.

The note on the reservation asked to be near the Virgil table, so, I thought that superceded the outside request, as Virgil was inside (with no roon to move them outside). We were pleased to get a reservation on the same day but did not realize that the table was outside until we arrived. The food and service were good but the heat made it a disappointing evening. In addition, the prices have increased dramatically since the last time we were there.

Very Tasty and well presented entrees. Casual yet tasteful decor. My only problem was finding parking, but fortunately they have a staff person to take you to a nearby parking area! Much recommend!

Best clams we’ve ever had, hands down! Delicious entrees—we both had grouper dishes and they were excellent and really fresh. Our server was outstanding! The entire staff was great and enhanced our experience. We will be back very soon—a new favorite spot.

This restaurant is very small and tables are very close. The food we ate (grouper) was excellent but way overpriced. Overpriced are also the white and red wines ( average $ 55.00 bottle). Service was good but be aware they charge extra if you pay with credit card. Parking is a problem even if you pay for it.

Encounter a very rude “ hostess “ upon arrival 6:52 pm had 7 pm reservation refused to seat us until exactly 7 , even though waiter directed us to our empty waiting table food was cold , overcooked pasta after waiting over 30 minutes for entree to arrive
