Kitchen was very helpful by making accommodations for me because I was on a special diet. My entree was delicious.
Sea bass and salmon with mixed veggies was amazing, server was great meal prep seemed to be long wait but it was worth every minute
Delicious meal and the service was 5 star. Just wished appetizer portion size was a bit larger as they were delish
Great food! Great atmosphere.
Overall great food and servers were polite. The only part that wasn’t great was the hostess, she seemed like she could care less about being there and placed us in a weird spot in the restaurant that almost seemed like she wanted us hidden. There were a lot of open seats and we got placed in the back in a weird corner, private yes but seemed intentional.
Good bar with many specialty cocktails and a good selection of fine spirits, however, food is pricey for what you get. Ordered warm Nobel rosemary focaccia and tuna crudo with our martinis and manhattans. Bread came with a black garlic aioli which was good but not enuf for amount of bread. At $16, tuna crudo was too expensive for the portion received, four 1” square pieces. Bar upstairs, Lustre, is a better choice for the view, munchies and drinks.
Food was great and our server was outstanding! Will come back for sure!
We enjoyed our experience at The Blue Hound. Portions were a little small for the price, but still delicious.
The food and drinks were just OK- The price was not justified. The service was outstanding.
I was a bit disappointed. This was my fiancé’s first time having a fine dining experience and it was average at best. The steaks were wrong and we didn’t even finish our food or drinks due to our disappointment. Although management did adjust the pricing for her steak, this was a ‘one-time, I need everything right’ type of night and the Blue Hound Kitchen missed the mark. Unfortunate. The staff was helpful and very respectful.
Our meal was perfect. The fresh ingredients, creatively and masterfully prepared and assembled, made for a totally delicious meal! Another pleasure of the evening was our server, Jenna. Personable, friendly, professional, with delightfully exuberant energy, she must be the crown jewel of your staff. We were fortunate to be served by her.
Great meal, very relaxing,a little loud but it was a Friday night.
The cocktails were amazing, the food sensational and the atmosphere was laid back. Loved the experience and will be going back again!
Food was delicious and the service was awesome!!!!
Awesome gourmet experience from the starters to the dessert!
This was our first time eating at this restaurant. We were very satisfied with our overall experience. The decor, food and service were excellent. It offers patio seating as well. It's also in a great downtown location. We would definitely recommend this restaurant.
This place was described to us as “fine dining”...it was anything but. Over priced mediocre food that was wrong based on our order to begin with. For being a cocktail bar we sent back two cocktails because the were downright terrible. Maybe we’ve been spoiled by good food in Seattle but this place was pretty awful. Being almost $200 out didn’t help things either.
I love this place. It was perfect to host my birthday with friends and sing happy birthday. The cocktails were also excellent as the wait staff was so kind to put the dessert pie on the house. Great experience.
Service was great, food not so much. We ordered $48.00 ribeye medium rare. The meat came out medium well and completely unseasoned. Management came by and offered to re-cook the steak. By the time ribeye made it back to the table, we were finished eating our meal, we did not mind that, however the ribeye came out rare and we left almost half of it on the plate because it was raw and still barely seasoned. Me and my fiance are both in restaurant business overseeing multiple restaurants and we hate to complain, but when you pay $48.00 for the steak, the expectations are high. There were no adjustments made to our bill which was in my opinion very poor guest recovery on management side. Service was excellent but we will not be going back anytime soon due to poor guest recovery and recooked ribeye that was not worth $48.00.
Great food, great service and great atmosphere.
I really enjoyed this restaurAnt for lunch. The pace was perfect and the server very attentive. The salad and fries were delicious!
The staff was friendly, helpful, professional, which highlighted the fantastic and varied menu along with the delightfully tasty drinks! Ambience? Ehh! It was dated modern chic, but what'll bring us back was the delicious food and drink!
Here's the thing, the restaurant is good. Their menu has evolved over time, but it still remains a great spot in downtown Phoenix for a business lunch. However, and this is a strong however, the air freshener being pumped in in the lobby borders on assault, and permeates in the restaurant. If you are willing to dine in what felt like the inside of an air freshener flint, then the food is worth a visit.
The food is fantastic love the ambience it was really wonderful...The only negative for the first time honestly was the server it was he neglected us didn’t come back as he should have we waited a long long time for a lot of service so overall I was not happy at all with the server everything else looks fantastic we’ve been there before and have had great service but this time it was mediocre to say the least
A great downtown go to.
We had a wonderful dinner at Blue Hound. Excellent drinks, food, and our server was outstanding. Next time we are in Phoenix we would definitely return.
From drinks to food everything was delicious. Presentation and taste was perfect. Loved the decor and your staff were friendly. We will be back!
Try the grouper, the sauce was outstanding.
Great service, delicious meal and drinks. Love the Frosted Windowpane cocktail!
Service and ambiance was great! Drinks were very good. I ordered the chicken. It was a little on the dry side, but still good. Veggies and sides were excellent
Food was just ok for the price. Our cocktails were so so. We did enjoy the Brussels sprout starter and Cesar for the table.
Beautiful view of downtown, a bit loud, but the food and service were good.
First timers, we went prior to a concert. Really were pleased with the menu choices, food presentation, and quality! Will definitely go again.
Food was outstanding. Great service and wonderful recommendations from our waiter.
This place is beautiful and the food is fantastic. I will be back!
Loved that you can use the entry couches and chairs for cocktails/HH. Service was very attentive even in the entry area. Food was ok and drinks are a little expensive .
Outstanding food and service. Oh! they validate your parking too. Excellent recommendation for someone who enjoys gourmet food.
Someone, maybe a manager? Came around to the table. She suggested the carmelized cauliflower steak. She went on to tell us that it was "A huge steak of wonderful cauliflower." When the meal arrived, it was a plate of quinoa, with five small cauliflower florets on top of the quinoa. When I brought it to this woman's attention, she said "I'm sorry the meal did not meet your expectations." To which I responded "Ma'am, you set the expectation. What was served was nothing at all even similar to what you said would be served." She shrugged and said "Oh." then walked away. The dish was removed from the bill. I did appreciate that. However, they charged the full $24 for my husbands exact same dish.
We had a wonderful evening the service was excellent 🤩the chef even whipped up a creative shrimp dish which we all appreciated atmosphere fantastic highly recommend this restaurant❗️
Overall it was real good. The manager was super helpful explaining the items on the menu. She was tops.
