Consistently excellent service and food. Their salads are outstanding! Christmas decorations are awesome!
Love the decor great flavor with the food. I had the Lamb Bolognese, Wild mushrooms and a juicy steak. Two thumbs up and I know food.
Fantastic restaurant for Thanksgiving dinner. The mea lwas amazing, the restaurant was decorated for the holidays and the wait staff was dressed up in ugly sweaters! The Thankgiving dinner (off menu) was so good and the turkey was perfection!
Also great are the spicy fries (just the right amt of kick) and the dirty chai pot dessert.
We will definitely be back!
Thanksgiving 2019 was a huge success at Blue hound. We were so thrilled with the Turkey Dinner and dessert options. The Miracle Pop Up Bar was amazing! So festive and the drinks we had were amazing!
They really put the quality work into those drinks. Not too sweet and everything tasted like it was crafted with love.
Thanks for a great holiday!
We had a very nice Thanksgiving meal at Blue Hound and hope to return to try some other things on your regular menu. Thanks for offering a holiday meal that was both delicious and not outrageously expensive. Happy holidays!
It's a lovely place, decorations were gorgeous and the food was even more perfect!
Outstanding good and service. Don’t miss this great spot inside the Paloma’s Hotel downtown Phoenix!!
Amazing food and service. It's quickly becoming a favorite with friends and family.
Concert nearby
Overall good experience but the Pork Tomahawk had some rare parts and the steak my friend ordered was also medium rare/rare instead of medium. We did not send food back since we were in a hurry though. Mushrooms and bass were very good.
Delicious food and service.
New York Strip was amazing
The four of us ate outside and enjoyed the evening action on the street below. Our server was well informed, assisted us with selections, and attentive. I loved the beet salad, and other dishes were excellent.
My waitress was knowledgeable and patient. I would come back to dine.
Sunday brunch offered lots of choices, from the conventional (omelettes) to my choice: Beef & Bleu salad. And the mimosas were spectacular.
Both my wife and myself ordered different cuts of steak. Both were very tough. Needed sharper knife to assist. Food was good not great otherwise.
The ambience is romantic looking over Washington Street. The service was good.
Not so good. Hostess did not inform us when our table was ready. My husband had to go up to her & ask timing. She was very distracted.
Finally seated after our reserved time & noticed many empty tables. We understand staff volume is a factor. If that’s the case, let the customer know.
Food was fair at best. Server was scattered & unorganized.
Will not return our next time in Phoenix.
The food was excellent, as well as, the service.
The food was just ok. The description on the menu was better than the food. Brittany was an outstanding server.
Love the atmosphere for vendor negotiations, it did get a little loud at times with people coming and entering. I like you can be seated in a more cozy or more lit area. The food is always excellent.
Blue Hound has a great chef who is inventive and creates beautiful, satisfying dishes. The price is a bit on the high side, but worth it for a fun date night downtown.
beautiful restaurant, great service, excellent food, BEST dessert. What else could you want from a restaurant??
This is a great place to hang out before a concert or event or just to enjoy a casual evening. Great cocktails and food and located close to all downtown attractions.
Great little spot. Our table had a nice view of downtown. All of the food was DELICIOUS. Ryan was great and offered smart suggestions. Can’t wait to go back!
Our table was ready on time, the hostess was friendly and professional. Our server, Caroline was great too. Loved the Tuna and the BH Chopped salad.
Great spot for dinner. Everyone enjoyed it. The drinks, food and dessert were so good.
Kitchen was very helpful by making accommodations for me because I was on a special diet. My entree was delicious.
Sea bass and salmon with mixed veggies was amazing, server was great meal prep seemed to be long wait but it was worth every minute
Delicious meal and the service was 5 star. Just wished appetizer portion size was a bit larger as they were delish
Great food! Great atmosphere.
Overall great food and servers were polite. The only part that wasn’t great was the hostess, she seemed like she could care less about being there and placed us in a weird spot in the restaurant that almost seemed like she wanted us hidden. There were a lot of open seats and we got placed in the back in a weird corner, private yes but seemed intentional.
Good bar with many specialty cocktails and a good selection of fine spirits, however, food is pricey for what you get. Ordered warm Nobel rosemary focaccia and tuna crudo with our martinis and manhattans. Bread came with a black garlic aioli which was good but not enuf for amount of bread. At $16, tuna crudo was too expensive for the portion received, four 1” square pieces. Bar upstairs, Lustre, is a better choice for the view, munchies and drinks.
Food was great and our server was outstanding! Will come back for sure!
We enjoyed our experience at The Blue Hound. Portions were a little small for the price, but still delicious.
The food and drinks were just OK- The price was not justified. The service was outstanding.
I was a bit disappointed. This was my fiancé’s first time having a fine dining experience and it was average at best. The steaks were wrong and we didn’t even finish our food or drinks due to our disappointment. Although management did adjust the pricing for her steak, this was a ‘one-time, I need everything right’ type of night and the Blue Hound Kitchen missed the mark. Unfortunate. The staff was helpful and very respectful.
Our meal was perfect. The fresh ingredients, creatively and masterfully prepared and assembled, made for a totally delicious meal! Another pleasure of the evening was our server, Jenna. Personable, friendly, professional, with delightfully exuberant energy, she must be the crown jewel of your staff. We were fortunate to be served by her.
Great meal, very relaxing,a little loud but it was a Friday night.
The cocktails were amazing, the food sensational and the atmosphere was laid back. Loved the experience and will be going back again!
Food was delicious and the service was awesome!!!!
