blue grillhouse Ratings and Reviews
Blue is one of our favorite places. We've come here for birthdays, graduations, our anniversary & just for fun. The drinks are creative & the food is always cooked perfectly. Service is very attentive with staff that are very friendly and knowledgeable. Always a pleasant experience.
It was fabulous! We've been here many times, but tonight was perfect! It was our 30th wedding anniversary, we sat on the patio, our server (I'm sorry I don't remember her name) brought us complimentary champagne. We ordered from the prime fixe menu, which we've never done before. It was great and a good value. Our server also brought us a complimentary hula pie so we took our chocolate cake home. Everything was great, including the martinis!
Marcus our waiter was wonderful. He catered to our every need; even having the AC turned down because it was COLD. Meal was good. And as a surprise because it was our anniversary, Marcus brought Champagne and an ice cream dessert. The night was perfect! Thank you Marcud and Blue!!
We always enjoy Blue, but this time the steaks baffles us. They were tasty, but did not come to the table with the browned, sizzling appearance we used to enjoy there. The meat did not look like it was charred....it had a grayish appearance.
All in all, though, the food is very good and the resatuarant is beautiful.
Place is beautiful, but the food was a little of a let down. My husband order his steak well done (which I think is gross anyway) but it was CHARD! Mine was ordered medium, came more medium well. Waitress was very sweet. Disappointing when going to a steakhouse and this is their specialty and paid what we paid for the meal. We will give it another try since the place is so nice. Enjoyed the place and especially a meal without our CHILDREN! Patio looks beautiful, too.
The meal was disappointing on balance. We requested and were seated outside which was very nice for a warm evening. The service was a little slow but sincere. The food was really ordinary and not particularly inventive. My chop salad was soggy and not very flavorful. I don't think we will be back very soon.
Having had our wedding reception here at the candlelight reception center we had returned to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. We had a wonderful experience as usual with a delicious meal and excellent service. Cheers to 10 years, we will be returning soon.
My wife, daughter and I enjoyed Sunday brunch on our wedding anniversary. We have eaten here several times in the past, but never for brunch. The menu was just right in it's choices with the proper amount of food. An excellent place to go for a brunch, if you like a quiet atmosphere for conversation, excellent service, and delicious food, I would highly recommend coming here.
We took our son and daughter in law out to celebrate their 8th anniversary. They are food aficionados. They enjoyed the meal and the service very much. I enjoyed the rack of lamb, it was perfect. The waiter was very friendly and attentive. The place was beautiful. It was a wonderful night out
We had a nice bottle of wine and our steaks were done perfectly. We were not rushed through dinner and had a wonderful time. Matt, our server, came around just enough so we could enjoy our dinner but could find him if we needed something. We will definitely go back again.
The food was yummy. Blue exceeded my expectations. Delicious food , lovely ambiance, and outstanding customer service. Our Waiter was kind, knowledgeable, and professional . I was surprised by the portions , way bigger than expected . We brought a lot of food home. They treated my husband and I to champagne and an ice cream cake for our anniversary. We look forward to going back for dinner . Also, the bar looks happening and they have a nice outdoor space...I would love to go to Blue for drinks and appetizers.
First time at Blue Grillhouse and it won't be my last! Food and service were outstanding. Our waiter Drew was very busy but he would always let us know if he was coming by after another table and he was always around so we could grab his attention if needed, but he was so attentive despite how busy his section was which was appreciated. From steak to fish to flatbread appetizer, all of our choices for food were mouthwatering good! Bar has a great selection as well so there is something for everyone whether it's food or drinks. This place is on the pricier side but it is worth it for a special occasion. Decor was nice but the lighting was a tad dark, so you may need your flashlight app on your phone for the menu. Blue is definitely worth a visit!
This is the best restaurant in the Lehigh Valley by far. The staff is amazing and the steaks are as good as any restaurant around the country. We are fans of Ruth's Chris, Capitol Grill and Morton's. The Blue Grillhouse is better than most of these. Try the bone in filet and bone in N.Y. strip and you will not be disappointed. The Greek salad and lobster bisque are also fantastic.
Most of the food here isn't wonderful, but it's good enough. Even that quality has gone down since the menu change. They once had great service but seem to go through servers frequently now, none of which are attentive or knowledgeable when asked questions relating to the menu. I will continue to go here because it's the best outdoor dining anywhere around. Now I have lunch or dinner elsewhere and go here for the drinks and ambiance.
The restaurant has a great atmosphere but a couple issues overall.
There was a very strong deodorizer smell that was actually very unappealing. It was some type of air freshener they had in the entrance area.
Also- my husband ordered a burger medium and it was well done. They made him a second one also well done.
Service was very good but overall average food.
From the minute we entered the restaurant we were treated like royalty. Staff was so accomodating and helpful. Food was delicious and happy hour prices were a pleasant surprise. When they found out it was my husband's birthday, a cake and champagne appeared!! Our waiter, Sean, was amazing. Already booked a return reservation.
