Blue Fin Crab Dip
Lemon Breadcrumbs and Toasted Baguette
Charleston She Crab or Soup of the Day
Very mediocre food. Restaurant seems to be in decline. Not very busy. I had the Barramundi...just average. Had a lot of dark spots in the filet. Shrimp in the fried rice inedible. Tasted like ammonia. Hubby had the Ahi tuna. Should have been outstanding given the restaurants name-sake, but it was grocery store quality. Best part of the meal was our server Christian. She was very friendly and attentive.
Came to visit state capital and heard about the She-crab soup. Went to Blue Fin and they did not disappoint, the soup was delicious. We also had the spicy shrimp appetizer, and the black bass with fried sprouts and shrimp fried rice. The whole meal was delicious, rice was so good go an extra portion to go. Our waiter Ryan was FANTASTIC!!!
I Love the energy and the food was love definitely going back🥰🥰🎉
Blue Fin never disappoints. I've been going for years and it's always great!
The BEST EVER Food was awesome too! The Martini’s weren’t good and no ingredients for the Lemon drop! Disappointing
Staff was attentive and friendly; food service was timely. Our long drive was worth it for a delicious lunch with a client. We will come back.
The crab dip was amazing!
The food was delicious and the server was attentive. We had the shrimp and grits and ribeye as entrees and they were both very good. The creme brulee for dessert was also amazing.
Very pleased. Exceptional meal and service. Server “Gabby” very attentive.
Very nice area, décor, and staff was amazing. Food was also good and very good procing. They had karaoke on Friday night was very entertaining!!!
Great ambiance and a very attentive wait staff. The food was fantastic, the drinks were delicious, all in all, a great experience.
We had eaten here a few months ago and enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere so we decided to go back. A complete 360. The food was decent but nothing more. The service was not very good, we were rushed and our server even asked if we wanted dessert while 2 people were not even 1/2 way finished. The worst part is that they started Karaoke at around 8 pm and it was loud and awful. Based on this night we will not return.
Food was excellent with lots of choices at moderate prices. Great service. A little “less fancy” than expected. Atmosphere basically an upscale bar and grill. We had dressier clothes on but jeans would b just fine. Great experience!
Delicious food and very good prices and service
Outstanding food served by very excellent servers. Would recommend restaursnt to my friends and family.
We are out of...the response to every question. Not the best experience
Delayed service. “We are backed up in kitchen”. They were out of martini glasses. Out of bread!! “bread is hard!”.
Soup tasted so bad that wasn’t eatable. Calamari was out of a cheap frozen bag at local grocery store.
Food was made by amateurs and tasted terribly.
Blu fin is no longer on our list for dining. It’s a shame because they used to be very good.
Went there for our 5th Wedding Anniversary, my wife and I love this place most times we go there for special occasions and they didn't disappoint.
Several years ago, this place was just terrible, but we tried it three months ago and it was good. So invited some friends to dine with us and everyone's food was great and the service was even better.
The food was spot on. Calamari was tender, shrimp and grits excellent, the ahi tuna was great and the pork chop fantastic. Oh, yes the creme brûlée of the evening was really good. Our waitress was super . I will return in a few weeks.
Party of 1 visiting the area on business. I ordered the she crab soup, which was good. The catfish entree, on the other hand, was way too spicy and heavily seasoned. The broth took away from the fish and the seasoning was overpowering.
We really loved the food! Great waitress as well! Overall a GREAT place!
Went for the Sunday Brunch. The crab cakes and French toast were divine and you can not beat$3 mimosas.
We visited this place two years ago and it was simply terrible, but a friend suggested that we give them another chance, and I am glad we did. It is not the greatest atmosphere, but with the improved service and food quality, I recommend this restaurant. It is one of the best restaurants in northeast Columbia, SC
Food was outstanding great service
Best swordfish I’ve ever had and I’ve had a lot all over the US.
Hmmm...I was a bit thrown off by the karaoke going on. Complete distraction from the conversation at the table. I completely thought it was totally different for what I'm use to experiencing throughout dining in Columbia, especially on a Friday evening.
Food was Fantastic. Definitely will be back!
Both the waitress and the manager were very attentive.
We had a great experience! Promptly seated & the waiter was amazing! The food took a little while but the plating kept it hot the entire time we ate so the wait was not an issue. The Shipwreck beverage was sooo good as were the brussel sprouts. We will definitely be returning!
It took about 30 minutes for our food to arrive and the restaurant wasn't very busy. Also, the mashed potatoes tasted like they came from a box. The wait staff was very nice and attentive, though.
Great experience. Food was delicious, from the apps to the dessert!
Our waitress was not knowledgeable of the menu or her own job. She was not tentative, never ask if we needed anything, no refills on water. Did not ask if we wanted dessert, just gave us our check. Very unprofessional and clueless. We had to ask other staff to wait on us.
The food was decent.
I try to find the good in every dining experience so I'll start with the service, it was superior. Our waitress was attentive and took good care of the table. The food on the other hand was less than stellar. I ordered a ribeye and it was tough, full of gristle and basic tasteless. Unremarkable is how I would classify this meal.
Kellie is a great server. Food excellent as always.
I took my then girlfriend, son, and daughter to dinner for Mother’s Day. When we arrived I told the staff that I was planning to propose that evening and they immediately assisted me in making everything happen. They offered to record, provided me with any assistance that I needed. Long story short she said YES! The food was delicious and portions were perfect. The drinks were strong and I will make it a point to eat here whenever we are in Columbia after we PCS. Thank you Blue Fin for making an amazing day more special than I could have imagined!
Food and service were amazing
Blue fin was a great experience. The service was ok. But due to the holiday weekend, it was to be expected. The food was fantastic! Very flavorful. I would go back again!
10 minute wait for a table took over 30 mins (with a reservation). Tuna portions were small, baramundi and vegetables were very salty. I would not dine there again.
