Blue Duck Tavern, a contemporary neighborhood restaurant, invites its guests to gather and celebrate in good taste with a menu focusing on the freshest ingredients available from local purveyors and artisans. The menu notes every farm where the main ingredient for the dish was raised before its journey to the table. Dishes are genuine, time-honored and traditional -- slow roasting in wood embers, braising, preserving and smoking techniques bring the true flavors of America's great, simple and wholesome foods to the Blue Duck Tavern.

The restaurant has an elegant residential feel through the open staff pantry and kitchen, wood-burning oven and the showpiece Molteni range.

*Please note that for diners bringing in wine, a $35 corkage fee (per 750 ml bottle of wine), with a limit of two bottles, will be charged.

On February 14, Blue Duck Tavern will offer a special Four Course Chef's choice a la carte menu. Our price is $130 per person, plus tax and gratuity.

On April 1, 2018, Blue Duck Tavern will offer our Farm-Fresh which consist of:
Cheese, Charcuterie, & Shellfish buffet along with, choice of appetizer, choice of entree and dessert buffet. Service hours are from 11:30 am-3:30 pm

Blue Duck Tavern is worth the hype! It took a while for me to get a reservation here and it was most certainly worth the wait. From the moment we walked in I felt as though everyone very much cared about our dining experience. Someone even brought my friend and I stools for our purses since there was no room on the table. What a nice touch!

Michael brought us this bread with cranberries in it and holy smokes it was so flavorful. Then we had the foie gras creme brulee style and I simply cannot say enough about this dish and the many rich and perfectly combined flavors that were brought out. Collectively our table had steak, duck, pork tenderloin as well as the variety of potatoes and vegetable options. We were so stuffed that we couldn't have dessert but I will definitely be back to try everything on the menu!

We arrived earlier than reservation and enjoyed drinks at the bar...
When we got to our table, they presented us with the menu which had Happy Birthday on top!
So many choices, but the soup of the day was butternut squash and yam...absolutely delicious..
My husband had the Roasted Cauliflower . tahini, cashew butter and golden raisins... beyond delicious! main courses did not disappoint - chicken and a beef choice!! Delicious cookies and coffee for dessert...a real treat!

We were very excited to try this Michelin Star restaurant but was very disappointed with the service. It was 40 minutes after we sat before anyone even talked to us again and finally asked if we wanted drinks. After we finally ordered, the drinks and then food came out in a reasonable time but wasn't anything super special. Everything was good to very good but I guess we were expecting more.

Went for brunch with the family. The pecan buns were delicious. The breakfast sandwich and brown butter pancakes were awesome. Will definitely go back to try the other menus.

This was by far the best brunch I've ever had. And while the bill hurt, we paid it gladly. I think we'll be talking about this for as long as we are together.


Bone Marrow - It was incredible. I don't have words to describe it.
Pecan Sticky Buns - I thought they were a little dry, but my husband loved them. Made us realized that he likes breakfast pastries a lot more than I do.


Chicken and Biscuit: My husband raved about this. He said that it hit the mark 100%.
BDT Eggs Benedict: This was above and beyond the best eggs benedict I've ever eaten. It hit every flavor profile for me. I'm still dreaming about them.

Chocolate Tort: This one came with duck fat snow and a duck fat caramel. It was delicious.
Poached Pear: I mean, there's never anything wrong with a poached pear.

My girlfriend and I️ were celebrating Valentines Day a little early and decided Blue Duck was the way to go. The food was fantastic, as was the service. Shankar and Craig were very helpful and the night turned out wonderfully. Can’t wait to come back!

Rated as Michelin 1 star but I find that surprising. Not on the same league as Inn at Little Washington, or French Michelin winners. Service was slow, poorly paced and stuffy. They acted superior. Abrasive. Then they tried to ply with unrequested, dry desserts. Ir's former incarnation if Melrose was better.
