Blue Duck Tavern, a contemporary neighborhood restaurant, invites its guests to gather and celebrate in good taste with a menu focusing on the freshest ingredients available from local purveyors and artisans. The menu notes every farm where the main ingredient for the dish was raised before its journey to the table. Dishes are genuine, time-honored and traditional -- slow roasting in wood embers, braising, preserving and smoking techniques bring the true flavors of America's great, simple and wholesome foods to the Blue Duck Tavern.

The restaurant has an elegant residential feel through the open staff pantry and kitchen, wood-burning oven and the showpiece Molteni range.

*Please note that for diners bringing in wine, a $35 corkage fee (per 750 ml bottle of wine), with a limit of two bottles, will be charged.

The waiters are so sweet, every of them keep saying “happy anniversary “ to us, and even gave us two scoops of ice cream and a bag of cookie as gifts

Always an outstanding by experience. Our server heard us wish my daughter’s friend happy birthday and brought over a cookie to go pack and a plate with a candle to sing.

Our salad and the beet salad were very tasty but our entree was less than over-whelming for a starred Michelin restaurant. Whole Red Snapper was under-cooked at medium rare and the waiter did not filet for us or even ask if we wanted it fileted. Left two spoons and for a under-cooked piece of fish it was an ugly chore to eat it.

Not worth the wait to get a reservation.

I have been reading about the Blue Duck Tavern for years and finally got the opportunity to dine there. My guests and I were not disappointed. The bone marrow was excellent as was the halibut, the short ribs, brussel sprouts and the duck. The truffle fries were unbelievable! Our waiter Michael was awesome. explained in detail the menu options and surprised us with a dish of grits since it was our first visit. Everyone should order those grits! I have grown up eating grits and without a doubt those were the best ever! I cannot wait to return!

It was ok. When we walked in, we were made to wait until our reservation time even though the restaurant was empty. We were only a few minutes early.

The menu changes are underwhelming. How did this place get a Michelin Star?
