The waiters are so sweet, every of them keep saying “happy anniversary “ to us, and even gave us two scoops of ice cream and a bag of cookie as gifts
Always an outstanding by experience. Our server heard us wish my daughter’s friend happy birthday and brought over a cookie to go pack and a plate with a candle to sing.
Service was excellent and menu was interesting.
Food was all excellent except the “fries”, which were odd and not well seasoned.
Food & service were outstanding. Had the house special duck for two. Worth another visit to repeat the same entree.
He beef tartare and bone marrow were amazing and the burger was the best burger I've ever had. Great meal!
Amazing! Ordered the bone marrow, braised rib & brussel sprouts, everything was so flavorful & absolutely delicious! Our waiter David was the best!
Great experience. Food was fresh, interesting and delicious. Excellent wine list and wines by the glass. We will be back when we are in DC.
Excellent food and superb service!
Our salad and the beet salad were very tasty but our entree was less than over-whelming for a starred Michelin restaurant. Whole Red Snapper was under-cooked at medium rare and the waiter did not filet for us or even ask if we wanted it fileted. Left two spoons and for a under-cooked piece of fish it was an ugly chore to eat it.
Not worth the wait to get a reservation.
I have been reading about the Blue Duck Tavern for years and finally got the opportunity to dine there. My guests and I were not disappointed. The bone marrow was excellent as was the halibut, the short ribs, brussel sprouts and the duck. The truffle fries were unbelievable! Our waiter Michael was awesome. explained in detail the menu options and surprised us with a dish of grits since it was our first visit. Everyone should order those grits! I have grown up eating grits and without a doubt those were the best ever! I cannot wait to return!
It was ok. When we walked in, we were made to wait until our reservation time even though the restaurant was empty. We were only a few minutes early.
The menu changes are underwhelming. How did this place get a Michelin Star?
It was a wonderful experience for our anniversary dinner
Everything was absolutely fantastic, from the service to the food and ambiance. Everything was cooked perfectly and we appreciate all the small details that was put into the evening as we celebrated our anniversary there.
