Blue Duck Tavern, a contemporary neighborhood restaurant, invites its guests to gather and celebrate in good taste with a menu focusing on the freshest ingredients available from local purveyors and artisans. The menu notes every farm where the main ingredient for the dish was raised before its journey to the table. Dishes are genuine, time-honored and traditional -- slow roasting in wood embers, braising, preserving and smoking techniques bring the true flavors of America's great, simple and wholesome foods to the Blue Duck Tavern.

The restaurant has an elegant residential feel through the open staff pantry and kitchen, wood-burning oven and the showpiece Molteni range.

*Please note that for diners bringing in wine, a $35 corkage fee (per 750 ml bottle of wine), with a limit of two bottles, will be charged.

The wait staff was so accommodating, we went in to celebrate a birthday and the menus were customized to say happy birthday, and we were allowed to keep them as well. The food was sublime and had appropriate timing between each course. While pricey, its a wonderful event meal and I look forward to my next visit.

I'm a local and know the restaurant scene fairly well and Blue Duck never disappoints. I will continue recommending this restaurant to both business associates and friends.

Yet another great experience. The food and service are excellent. Definitely deserves its Michelin Star. It’s pricey, but definitely worth the money.

Lovely attentive service and food. A bit too noisy for good conversation however.

Exceptional way to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary. The roast chicken was heavenly and the “Happy Anniversary” on the top of the menu was such a kind, thoughtful touch.

When my son recommended the tavern, my wife and I pictured a small pub like place with pub food and a good beer menu. The restaurant is semi upscale with a menu , wine list and yes price to match. The food and wine were very good with interesting choices. Warning, all the entrees are a la carte. Service was very good with a caveat. Our waiter was very attentive but the food was a bit long in arriving. If you don't mind spending the extra money this is a nice choice for a nice dinner out.
