Great food, service & menu .
A bit noisy, but that's to be expected as it's a small restaurant.
Love Blue Collar BUT the AC blows on every seat uncomfortably! Parking in front is not as easy as on the side street. Good-sized portions and attention to quality ingredients!
Always a great meal and service. Best burgers.
A great neighborhood spot with great good, huge portions, and fantastic veggies. Of course the chocolate cake is also delish!
This was a day off from work and lets go somewhere different for lunch! Once again (2nd time there) it was fantastic! Tried 2 new apps - Conch Fritters (by far the best around) and the Mac n' Cheese with bacon! You can never go wrong with bacon! Chicken parm was good, not as great as I was expecting. Philly cheese steak and fries did not disappoint and once again the best key lime pie that I have had in 24 years of living in SoFL!
Six of us was in town to see the stage production of "American Son." So I made reservation for 6, after finding the only restaurant near the theater that had (what appeared to be) a wonderful selection of american foods that wasn't all deep fried. When we got to the restaurant our group turned into eight , and the cafe style restaurant wasn't sure how they would "Accommodate" us...but instantly they came up with a plan, that allowed all of us to sit together and we didn't have to wait. When we entered, one of the additional two members of our party was the lead female in the production (Karen Stephens), and immediately the guest in the restaurant recognized her and "Applaud" upon her entrance. The entire evening in the small surrounding we talked and laugh with the guest and workers as if we were amongst family. Once our party got their plates of fish, chicken, jambalaya, conch fritters, and veggies... All freshly prepared, delicious and "Appetizing,"we ordered more to go.
Between the show, Blue Collar staff and manager, the food, and their quest... our evening was intimately "AMAZING!"
I gave this restaurant and everything about it five stars, but in addition
three A"s for...
A for accommodating us without a hassle.
A to applaud their wonderful staff and manager
A for having deliciously appetizing food
Delicious food. Inventive side dishes. Excellent service.
A great Miami standard for delicious, down-home food in a very casual atmosphere. Parking isn't great but there is enough of it on the side of the building. Service is very quick and always friendly.
I have been here a few times. Mainly for brunch but this visit was for my significant others birthday so we went for dinner. I must say the service and food was awesome, as always. Me and my significant other have come love this place. Gladly recommend this place.
Fabulous food but no ambiance.
food and service was excellent!
First time there for 4 of us. We all had very good meals. Food was a bit too spicy and we will order differently next time and there will definitely be a next time. The menu is so very interesting and service was perfect. Reservations are a must.
Casual and cool place. Excellent service. Amazing flavors on a really varied menu. Especially great vegetarian 🌱 plates.
Blue Collar USED to be my fave restaurant, but after the last two times...I will never spend another dollar there. The service is terrible. The food, which used to be terrific, has gone so far downhill, that it doesn't seem like the same restaurant. One of my favorites, the curried cauliflower, has become inedible, so saturated with curry, that it burns your mouth. The fish portion was so small that we left hungry....well couldn't eat the veggies so that was one of the reasons. Has Blue Collar had a change of management? We were told one of the times that the chef had to leave, but what happened the second time? So sad to lose a great restaurant.
Absolutely unbelievable experience, loved the food so much and was pleasantly surprised by the value. This is a real American diner. One of my takeaway experiences from my journey through Miami. Eggplant Parmesan was 10/10
Not up to it's usual standard. Service was not great, my dinner was delish, my husband's ribs were over cooked and mushy. We will try again later this month
Totally unexpected great experience. We found this place on open table and had trouble finding it but we were totally happy about our experience.
The vegetable plate. Sensational flavors. And choices. The owner greeted us hello and had our table in minutes. This is a frequent stop for us. Always something different and great selection of beers.
always beyond yummy- fun nice service always too! thank you!
Service was great!! Plantains were great.
One of our local favorites!!
It was great! It was just a small space so we were right next to the other tables but it was still nice.
This restaurant I was very excited to try with my family since I heard such great reviews from Diners, Drive in and Dives and other customers reviews. Blue Collar was disappointing to say the least. We were seated outside and the table was covered in dirt. No one offered to clean the table. We waited 45 minutes to receive our appetizers. The servers did not seem to care when we asked them where our food was. When the appetizers did come, the shrimp and grits was sub par and left more to desire. We waited another 45 minutes to get our entrees, which we ordered at the same time as our appetizers. The snapper was dried out and previously frozen. The eggplant was dried out, cold and had minimal flavor. The chicken was covered in charcoal from the grill. The servers were unapologetic and did not seem to care nor acknowledge our disappointment in the food and service. Overall, my family was very excited to try this new restaurant, but quickly realized that the hype did not match the reality. I do not recommend this restaurant if you want a good meal and good service.
Having seen this on DIners Drive Ins and Dives we had a great meal as promised! This is a must go in Miami for great food in casual setting with staff who care to provide great service!
Best meal we had on our whole vacation! We went the first night of Hanukkah specifically for latkas. We had the first dinner reservation at 6p and were told they sold out earlier in the day. We were very disappointed, but decided to stay since the reviews we read were very good. So glad we stayed. Everything we had was really good. My one daughter had the Mac, my other a brisket platter , I had the flank steak and my husband the crispy skin snapper. The mains were all really good but what made it exceptional were the sides our server recommended to go with them. They all really complemented the main and were delicious. They also have an option of just getting 4 sides for your meal, which I think would also be wonderful, if you could decide which ones you wanted since I thought they all sound so good. Our server did come back after we ordered and said he realized there were 2 orders of latkas left if we still wanted one. They were served very simple with a delicious homemade apple sauce and were very good.
We finished our meal with a homemade key lime pie which did not disappoint. I am sad we went on our last night of vacation. Can’t wait to go back.
Check-in quick with OT reservation. Menu extensive & diverse. Well done selections. Vibrant crowd / atmosphere. Service very good & friendly.
Garson was the best.
Loved Blue Collar for years... BUT this visit was a repeat of the prior visit where ALL the food was spicy (too spicy). I understand if a dish may be prepared with a little kick but even dishes that should not have a kick was spicy. We told the waiter and he was apologetic and even agreed that some dishes we had should not be spicy
Food is always great. Reservations are important, especially on the weekend.
A great place with unique character. Very much an "upscale" diner with "diner" service! Meaning the food was fantastic comfort food, served with a side of bristly service. The best key lime pie I have had in 24 years of living in SoFL. I'm looking forward to our next trip to the Blue Collar.
We had a reservation for my wife's birthday but we were running late. Adam saved us a table and treated us very well. The Brisket Eggs Benedict was great and the French Toast was awesome. Adam made us feel like family and we will definitely recommend this place to our friends and visit again next time we are in Miami.
I really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Excellent chef and crew. We will return.
Excellent brunch. The service was a little slow, but the food was so good that it was totally worth the wait.
Been there many times. Tonight was the first off night. I’ll be back but maybe not on Sunday night.
Beautiful food during our stay in Miami, and great service and people. Oxtail and bead pudding was the best ever
Small menu with great food and daily specials. Service is always great. Reservations recommended due to small size.
We have been to Blue Collar many times and are never disappointed...go whenever we are in town visiting.
Food never disappoints!!!
