   The service was good. The miso glazed sablefish was a bit on the salty side. The desserts could have been better.

   Lovely evening with friends! We sat inside although many were dining in enclosed patio. Our server was incredibly personable, hard working and sweet! Our food was good.

   Food was good but portion size a bit small. The steak salad was 90% cabbage . The steak was very thin, less than a quarter inch thick. The dine out crab cake was really superb but the portion size of the brisket and sable fish was a bit tiny, (tasty though) hardly have any veggies, just a blob of mash potatoes on the bottom, didn't match the description on the menu. Ambiance was good in the patio area, nice and warm with the heaters. Service was good.

   Came for the dine out menu but opted for something else. Service was good but food was average.

   Party of 6, birthday dinner and Dine Out Vancouver 2025 menu. We tried everything on that menu with the exception of the vegetarian fettuccine. We also ordered bread which I thought was complementary. Out came focaccia, crunchy and soft. No need for oil and vinegar. $4. It could have been $14 and we wouldn’t have cared. It was a great start to the meals. Everything was superb. Appetizers — grilled peach salad, squash soup, and the crab cake were all exceptional. I’ll give a slight edge to the crab cake because it was a great size and the saffron butter sauce was very addicting. Mains — The seafood bouillabaisse was delicious and cooked perfectly, with just the right amount of broth; however, the dish was smaller compared to the rest of the menu and the mussels and clams were on the smaller side as well. The braised short rib was so on point that my son was full but could not let the dish leave the table because it was so good. Everything about that dish was spot on and by far the most filling item on the menu. The miso sablefish with risotto was one of the best fish dishes I’ve ever had. I only wish that I got more fish, but the risotto was quite filling. If the intent was to get me to get another of that dish I came very close to it, but didn’t because desserts — cheesecake truffle trio (small truffle balls) in a champagne glass. Don’t let the size fool you, it is that good. The apple verrine — what was it? Had to Google. Ah, dessert in a glass. Layers of flavour. This was a standout. The service was excellent and even gave my cousin a delicious slice of chocolate truffle cake for her birthday, and a great presentation to boot. To the server with the huge diamond ring that served us — your service matched the top quality of the food, and in my experience, is very rare these days. We will all be back. Super meal, core memory. No joke.

   We had the Vancouver Dine-out meal. The three course meal was amazing. The crab cake was delicious as was the beet salad. We both had the sable fish which was awesome. The atmosphere was inviting and the staff were very welcoming. Service was great. We would go back there when we visit Richmond again.
